Most of the concerns are about screwups or complications outside our control. It's less of an issue now that we host all the payment and unlock stuff ourselves, but a few years ago, when that was handled by an outside company, there would be times where their server that hosts the game ... They would just turn it off or it would go down for maintenance... on launch day... And a good third of the company had to turn into tech support. Needless to say, we don't use those guys anymore, and days of that sort of madness are well behind us, but we'd rather be safe than sorry. Also it's not literally "everyone," you're right that a 3D environment artist is going to have little to do with troubleshooting a last minute installer packaging issue or something, but you know what I meant :P

woooo, that would have been a NIGHTMARE

Soooo..... all these threads about the game being available already are lies, right?

Sheesh. When I joined these forums, back when TOMI was coming out, I was struck what a nice place it was, and now it seems to have turned into a bog-standard internet forum full of trolls and bastards.

(and if you happen to be a troll or bastard, please remember - TELLTALE ARE NOT OUR HYPNOTIC SLAVES DEVOTED ONLY TO FULFILLING OUR EVERY PLEASURE, no matter how genorous with freebies and discounts they have been over the years)

Eh, I've seen worse forums (Nintendo's old NSider forums and the the BioWare Social Network come to mind for me), but yeah, the whole "It's out"*troll threads are kinda... eh. Not very cool.

Just because i had a ''nerdgasm'' doesn't automatically means i should get laid.
    One day you'll have one..

    Seriously, what was he thinking?

"Ow dammit ... can't read it."

Ink pouring all over his hands. And you could see the ink running down.

Actually not sound like a geek but the chart was 75 years old in 1985 it would be 100 he was in 1955 when he got the letter right

Christopher Lloyd is so great in BTTF III.

I'm another first time telltale gamer with this game. I grew up on point and click games in the 90s like: Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, Star Trek: 25th anniversary to just name a few. i tried out the sam & max demo they had up; i couldn't believe how streamlined they've made the genre. I didn't have to click on anything like "give, take, talk to, give to" etc etc. i really liked it.
I spent all day yesterday watching all 3 BTTF movies on blue ray. and loved every minute of it. I haven't been this excited for a game in a long long time.

True aye. I rekon if they made a Studebaker into a time machine in 1955 they'd have no troubles.

Great Scott! Its about time someone recognized how awesome BTTF 3 was :P

    Favorite paradox anyone?

    How about this:

    "This statement is false"

    or:

"It´s bad luck to be superstitious"

    IT´S ABOUT TIME!
