I always hated how whenever they showed the movies on TV in Australia they never showed the 1st movie - maybe once. It was always the 2nd and 3rd. Wasnt til i got the DVDs that the 2nd one made sense!!
Really, eh? Lots of lady Back to the Future fans? It was a pretty popular movie, and Micheal J. Fox from my hometown where i'm writin from (Vancouver, BC area).
I remember watching it for the first time, It was just before the 2nd movie, about 1989 i think? I was like 5 years old and I was blown away when Marty plugged that guitar even, I didn't even know what it was about lol. I love guitar and Van Halen has been my favourite band since age 12 (didn't even clue into the fact that they were in my favourite movie, and I also (coincidentally as well) am really into Clint Eastwood movies. I drive a Camaro though not a Deloreon haha. One day tho...one day. It might be dangerous though because i'd constantly want to go 88 miles per hour everywhere lol.
I just had my birthday, updated my screen, got my car back after 6 years of work on and off, and now a sequel to my favourite movies. Awesome! All I need now is a new girlfriend that loves this movie as much as me haha.
part one for me feels like the best in terms of heart, 2 for the science of time travel *and hoverboards!* and part 3 .. I love it but I still have a heartbreak and remember walking out of the theater mourning the DeLorean.. lol
Yeah.. I have to get to work and then hopefully this will be ready to download when I get home! Great convo, guys! Enjoy the game .. when it finally is released lol! :P
Why do we have to go through this "It wasn't released at midnight on the dot" routine every time Telltale releases something new? I think the boards for any soon-to-be-released games need some kind of sticky explaining that the game will come out during office hours.
I honestly think they should have a countdown set for the close of their business day.... Nobody would complain if it ended up out earlier than that...
Yeah i just got a boarderline appraisal on trying to figure out what time the BIG NOISE went off at. So many taxpayers dollars down the drains. Now if only the FBI had Greys Sports Almanac...
I've been a big BTTF fan from the first movie now there is a game that TTG sure have got it right. It can get much worst than the past BTTF games. The format of this game looks a perfect match for telling more of the story.

OMG I had the EXACT same thing. That was total BS. As a kid I only ever saw two and three and even though it made the second one a little confusing i still loved them. I remember finally getting my hands on the first one in dvd (I had never seen it anywhere). I was so excited, I ran home and watched it straight away).
Just in case something bad happens there are more people around who could scream in panic. I love to image how a 3D Artists tries to resolve server uptime issues.
Most of the concerns are about screwups or complications outside our control. It's less of an issue now that we host all the payment and unlock stuff ourselves, but a few years ago, when that was handled by an outside company, there would be times where their server that hosts the game ... They would just turn it off or it would go down for maintenance... on launch day... And a good third of the company had to turn into tech support. Needless to say, we don't use those guys anymore, and days of that sort of madness are well behind us, but we'd rather be safe than sorry. Also it's not literally "everyone," you're right that a 3D environment artist is going to have little to do with troubleshooting a last minute installer packaging issue or something, but you know what I meant :P
Yeah i was pretty stoked to finally see the 1st movie and just sit there every 2 seconds going "OOOOHHHHHHH". So many lights went off in my head that i probably blew a fuse or two. haha!
Even after losing the DVDs (shame on me) i ended up getting them again.
I've had to mostly watch the movies on TV intermittently. Would much rather watch them without commercial breaks every 5 minutes for some horrible show on G4 or the next VH1 "reality" show. Nhhhhh.

I like the 2nd movie as well. It feels like I'm watching 1 and 2 at the same time
