While it's like comparing apples and oranges, I actually like Puzzle Agent better than the Professor Layton series (another story-based puzzle game). Might be because it's not mired down in a really confusing story -that ironically involves time travel too- but I just love PA's art style.

One of these days I'd love to pick up one of the Grickle books.

I can't even track count how much times have I watched the trilogy, but it's a big number. This film is probably partially responsible for my initial interest in science, science fiction, movies and all the tiny details that are in them.

These movies are inspirational on so many levels, and obviously, since we're all here waiting.. it has inspired us and left something special in all of us.

I bought the bluray set last night and watched the first one. I think I'll pop in part 2 now while I wait.

Puzzle Agent wasnt that hard and they even gave you all those gum hints, when you had all the information you cant missed. Great game. Will there be hints in BTTF?

did you ever wonder if the fact that Marty intentionally traveled to 1885 to save Doc and succeeded should have caused a paradox? Since he never died, he should've never seen the tombstone and would'nt have traveled to save him. Since you can never travel through time to change the entire reason you are doing it? Isn't this why they needed Marty to accidentally get sent to 1955?

i didnt like puzzle agent all that much

I had to wake up for work that is why I woke up at 7:00 A.M. on the 21st.

Business hours for Telltale are, what 9 AM to 6 PM pacific?

It's not even 9 am yet, even then it likely wont release right then.

    So true Kal-El

unless Doc put that tombstone there for the very purpose on not distrupting the space time continuum and then told everyone that Clint Eastwood went over the ravine just so it could not only implicate him and a train 'borrowing' but have the ravine named Eastwood Ravine? Oh, questions .. they just keep coming lol! :P

:D Thank you all for being so kind to my random post.. you're gentleman and scholars! ;) And if there's ladies here.. ditto .. oh, well you know.. :)
  • edited December 2010
Kal-El... ...If you're going to go down that road then what about the third film? An elaborate plot involving the use of a train to push the Delorean up to 88MPH. Marty should have written a letter to his future self like the Doc did. It could simply say.. ..bring some extra gas just in case the fuel line gets hit by an arrow..? ;)

Yeah i just got a boarderline appraisal on trying to figure out what time the BIG NOISE went off at. So many taxpayers dollars down the drains. Now if only the FBI had Greys Sports Almanac...

there are SO MANY ladies here, Kal-El

(honestly. There are a bunch on this forum)

My favorite back to the future has to be part 2 where he screws up the timeline

In the middle of one. I will watch all three (while doing other things, too). After that the game will be released hopefully...

Wow.. Helixios .. now I have all new questions that would probably destroy my BTTF universe lol! Great point!!

    Are you asking me?
I wouldn't know really, haven't seen any gameplay besides the trailer..
They really didn't wanted to give away all that much.

Monkey island didn't have hints like in Puzzle Agent, so my guess is no (:

Just to be picky.. why didn't the hoverboard ever push against the back of the DeLorean when Marty had it behind him..? Yeah, that's probably stretching haha
  • edited December 2010
The world may never understand the logic of one of our favorite movies but we'll always love them
  • edited December 2010
and if the car's hover conversion was destroyed by lighting.. did Doc get to land that sucker because he obviously didn't crash?
  • edited December 2010
Yeah .... They have to have their coffee chat about the weather.... work a little have lunch.... get back to work late.... work some more.... release the game... give each other high fives.... work a little more.... laugh at all the hurt feelings then go home.

You know like we all do at our own jobs.
