The thing with the conjugations is not TOO hard though because you just have to memorize what they stand for (nevertheless: the German language only has 4 conjugations so it takes a bit getting used to). But the main problem is that the Finnish seem to speak the language a LOT different than you learn from books... and I can never get how the order of a sentence works... sooooooooo much more difficult than any other language (and I do know English, French and a bit of Spanish).

That's true, almost nobony speaks "book language" in Finland, everyone uses at least some kind of every day dialect (and the actual dialects from other regions, escpecially the south west, aren't very easy for us natives either). I guess it makes understanding Finnish little bit hard.

But this is the first time I've ever heard someone having problems with the word order (although I don't actually know anyone who has tried and taught themselves Finnish). In single sentences almost any word order is really understandable and not too funny, but in a conversation wrong order doesn't sound very fluent.

Tu réalises à quel point c'est brillamment adapté quand tu entends la réplique de Doc sur la gravité qui aurait alourdit le poids des hommes du futur, leur causant des douleurs plantaires xD . (pour "this is heavy !")

Question.... Do you think we all need to download Puzzle Agent first and then we can download BACK TO THE FUTURE??? Because I haven't downloaded Puzzle Agent yet (could really care less, just give me bttf) but maybe that's why they haven't released it yet???

lol, no the original names were untouched, but in spanish the author is called "Julio Berne" so they translated the name of the kids or it wouldn't make sense.

Actually only Turkish and Argentinian telenovellas are dubbed in Greek (also anime vhs of the 80's).... I'm from Greece and I know.
That is exactly what I wrote. In Greece most foreign programmes are subtitled and NOT dubbed. I also know what I'm talking about...

We've been getting more and more dubbed versions of movies, cartoons and games in Belgium. I'm still mad my version of "The Longest Journey" is in Dutch - with no option to play the original!

Read the blog is says there's a few hours left.

"What are you going to do these final few hours before Back to the Future: The Game launches? Of course, those of you with access to time travel devices have already played the entire season; what'd you think?"

So your theory is that no one downloaded puzzle agent so they're not going to release it until someone does?

In the Turkish dub of the first movie one line calls Doc as "Emmett Brown McFly".

This is not just the case in Finland. Almost all European countries do NOT dub their movies and series, except childrens programmes.

The only four European languages programmes are ALWAYS dubbed in are German, French, Spanish and Italian.

I know that they use subtitles in The Netherlands, Belgium (only Vlaanderen), Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Greece, Portugal and Estonia. Even in Turkey, which is a BIG country, most US programmes are not dubbed anymore but shown with subtitles.

Oh, I didn't know that. I have heard horror stories from Poland or some east europe country where there's only one or few dubbers for EVERYTHING and thought it is more common in Europe to dub programmes. But as fluent English listener it is nice to be able to watch US programmes in the original language and to be able to understand what is going on.

Yeah I presaw the end of s1 of SGU like that. Freakish.. even Chloe's voice was a manly voice (which could have been an improvement and not result in immediate cancellation).

It's nowhere as bad as the Dutch version of Black & White. Luckily that got an 'english patch'...

That's good to hear! :) Because that was the main thing I was worried about.
Anyway, I can understand why so few people learn that language. It's really difficult - plus: less than 5% in all Europe speak it, so in fact one doesn't need that language (as a reference on a CV or something). It's fun though, I love Finnish, I love the Finnish people and ... most of all ... about 90% of the music that's made there! :)

If you're here, AVGN-James, please drop us a line! :) That'll make time pass quicker!! :D
