As far as we know, they might not even know the release date. Maybe they're still working the bugs out or something

    maybe.

May is right after April, thats fine with me. I'm more concerned with a more serious delay, like pushing the PC release to coincide with consoles, or worse... JP4!

Then we shall wait until May. Honestly, what's one more month if it means a more polished and bug free game?

Shush! All of you! We don't want a may release! I shouldn't of said that. Maybe they are going to change the skin of the site and upload a new video or something.

It will release when it's ready. Another user on here stated a rather interesting theory that makes a lot of sense. He could be right for all we know. We should have some new info by Monday I hope

I prefer they take their time with it and don't rush like they did with BTTF.

    New theory:

They took the main image/video and small images and banners to make way for new JP Game graphics when the game launches. I don't know about Telltale, but I know the company I work for, we have to weird timing for our web updates. I don't personally do web graphics so I can't say specifically how it works, but I know for simple updates they can do them overnight, but for more involved updates that need actual new coding, these need to be submitted weeks in advance before they are "active" on the site.

Maybe they just had to take the "old" JP media links before the "new" web content was ready? After all, there still isn't really a Jurassic Park The Game website, and I'm sure that would be something Universal would want.

With dinosaur week looking JP themed, and the game needing to come out next week to meet the April due date, maybe this stuff getting taken down is just part of larger web initiative for a bigger JP game site.

    Lets hope!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't think so. They don't take down old BTTF videos to release new ones. The reason they have to submit big changes weeks ahead is so that the new changes can be tested before there actually thrown on the public site(all websites do this). That way when there ready to change they just delete the old code and put up the new code. They do it that way so the site is down for s little as possible. It seems to me all telltale has done is take things down.

Looks like Alan's online and viewing this thread at the moment. Let's hope for some sort of info

By the way, Tyrannosaur 87, your signature is awesome. Did you happen to get it from a John Swartzwelder book? Totally seems his style.

Thank you! And actually, as far as I know, I made it up myself

Nice! For those of you who don't know John Swartzwelder is a comedic writer best known for the early seasons of the Simpsons.

Thought I recognized the name. Either I picked this quote up from somewhere, or I made it up myself. Either way, I've stuck with it because it's something I really would say.

I bet Alan and the Team get a kick out of all of us people acting like we need our next hit of crack. LOL I will say this much about trying to save face by removing everything, no way that keeps people for going nuts if a delay is announced. However, Telltale works real hard for its fans and I can tell you it is one of the few companies that takes in a lot of fan feedback for its games. You think EA is going to open a forum for us like this and answer questions as often as these guys? Not a chance. Delay or no delay I like what Telltale has accomplished and the approach they take one moset things.

That being said if Alan is on maybe there is a chance of a release this evening. There is a guy that said one of the BTTF episodes went up at 9 Pacific and that is midnight Eastern. I know he must be right because I went to bed it was there the next morning. So I wouldn't give up all hope yet.

Alan's currently viewing this very thread according to his status on his profile, so here's hoping we do get some sort of info. You hear that, Alan? We know you're watching!

I've never seen that line before, but his short story's are full of misleading one liners like that. That's why I thought you might have got it from him.

I'll have to look those up, if anything as a source of entertainment and maybe some inspiration

Is anyone else really worried that Alan didn't come right out and say that "there's no delay". I think he would if there was no worry of one.

You might be acting a little nitpicky there. He didn't exactly say that there was a delay either. We should have some more info by the start of IGN's Dino Week on monday, so let's just be patient and wait this out.

All of the JP videos and banners on the site have been taken down without warning or given reason and it's got everyone thinking DELAY. I don't believe that there is one until we see some hard evidence supporting that.

Could it be possible that they have removed the content in order to build up suspense for dino week on IGN where they could possibly release a mud slide of new content and videos before the possible release on friday? You know some type of marketing technique.

Makes sense to me. I'm being patient and waiting this out. I know everybody's frustrated, but being upset about it isn't gonna make the game come out any faster.

Agreed and i seriously doubt there will be a delay. I'm sure if there was going to be a delay then they wouldve known much earlier and therefore told us about it.

Even if they found out there would be a delay as of today, they would've said something. Alan said there was nothing new to report. I would consider a delay to be something 'new'.

It's just the anxiety getting to people. knowing that the end of the month is just days away.

Yes I know. I asked another user earlier how many people he thought would die from a joy induced heart attack when the game is finally released

I don't know, man. Alan is usually always the one to squash rumors, especially when the forums are going crazy like this. He also almost always squashes them immediately. The point that he didn't do that for this one worries me. And who knows, I could be wrong and it all is just some marketing technique. I hope anyways.

I'm certain many will but they will die slowly over the course of months. (wouldn't want to die and miss out on the game.)

It could be a marketing technique. It makes sense what with next week being Dinosaur Week and all. I think the anxiety might be getting to you. It's rough, but the game will be out soon.

We're hoping that with dino week on IGN there will be new content for the game but we won't knnow til then so keep your fingers crossed and hold on to your butt.

We're all gonna have to. It just makes sense that it would go with Dinosaur Week

Now with the rumor of delay basically debunked and the knowledge that people like Alan are still talking to us hopefully we can get back to a sense of normalcy on this forum. (or at least as normal as it gets.)

There's still gonna be some doubters, so there probably won't be any 'normalcy' til we get a release

I doubt even then. There probably won't be until afer the season finale but one can hope. :)
