guys come on if u think its common sense that JP is going to be delayed ur really off. I mean come on TellTale has common sense too they'll tell you if its going to be delayed. Just shut up and be patient Ok? I REALLY want this game out tyrannosaur even knows that i hit the breaking point just chill out guys especially robotpo

Try and ease up on singling out people. It's only gonna do more harm than good here. People are entitled to their opinions and without any concrete evidence to support either cause, they're just as right as we are at this moment as far as we know. Let's just try to keep calm til we get some info in the coming days.

Right, which is why I was entitled to state I think the game will be delayed.

BTW, I posted this in the Insider forum a few days ago:

And then, subsequently stated disappointment that the thing appears to have disappeared. Reacting, not over-reacting...big difference. But whatever.

Try the thread with the screeching hysterics? There are only six of them in the forum.

it hasnt even been a week just calm urself

Have you pre ordered the game? If so, you should have access to the Insider Forum. If you haven't accessed the Insider Forum and you have pre ordered, then you might wanna go to the Site Help forum and post in the Jurassic Park thread there to gain access to it.

No I have preordered and have access to the insider forums.. but everyone seems to be handling it quite well... I just haven't seen any so called "screaming hysterics" there..

Cool it. robotpo's entitled to his opinion and he has just as much a right to state it and vent as the rest of us do. Bickering among ourselves isn't going to make the game come out any faster and it's not going to calm anyone down. Just take the high road and let it be.

Ah. Well when the team members stopped talking to us, some users started voicing their concern, and when the videos and banners suddenly vanished, all hell broke loose for awhile.

That's where taking the high road comes in handy. Just ignore the insults and go about your business as if nothing happened. As a fellow fan, I understand his frustration, and in the end, as a human being, he's entitled to the same rights here as anyone else. Nobody's attacking anybody else here, and it needs to stay that way.

XD This is a GAME. It's pretty ridiculous to get so worked up over a video game, but hey that just proves that we are the hard-core jurassic park fans after all.

Agreed. I could only imagine what the hype would be like if this was an opening of an actual Jurassic Park

    I'm perfectly calm.

What's stupid is people who were screaming and whining and being cry-babies in the "Ask the Telltale Team" thread, acting like the game not being out was the end of world, are now getting bent out of shape over my perfectly placid remark that I personally think the game is being delayed.

If certain people on here want to be treated like adults, maybe they should try acting like adults first.

And that's fine, but it needs to be left as such. You're entitled to your opinion, and you're not the only one who believes that the game is being delayed. Most of us have other opinions, and we're rightfully entitled to them. In the end, eventually we'll have the game, everyone wins, and that's what ultimately matters.

True. He had no right to say the insult, but you didn't exactly have to add fuel to the fire either. Irritation from the injury or not, it's best to keep your temper (and his) out of the discussion before it gets out of hand and the mods have to step in and start banning people.

Anyway, this is really bad move from Telltale, to cause such a confusion and rift among the fans. This is not what fans expect, particularly those who preordered. You should read last few pages, to see what u have done. And all this could be avoided by a single statement by Alan, or other member of dev team. Delayed, or not, you screwed up Telltale, big time :(

To err is human. They're likely to make mistakes just as much as the rest of us. But on Friday Alan did show up and state that there wasn't any new news to report and that we would 'have more information soon'. In my honest opinion, if there was a delay, that would be considered 'new', and certainly worthy of being reported ASAP. Since it hasn't been, I don't believe there is a delay. It's all speculation until we have concrete evidence supporting either cause. Til then, it's anybody's guess.

Just leave it be. He's entitled to his belief in a delay just as much as I am in my belief that we'll have more information in the next couple of days or so

Telltale has made a statement. Alan said a few days ago. let me reiterate, a few days. A FEW DAYS ago that there was nothing new to report. You know what that means?

They're working hard for this game to be released. I'm pretty sure a delay would be something new. Just saying. I like the secrecy personally. I hate spoilers anyways. Though I will admit that anticipation is killer.

It's been rough on all of us, but you're right. What Alan said on Friday was concrete enough for me to automatically dispel any rumors of a delay.

Only if it looked more realistic. I wouldn't fork up that much money for a rather half hearted statue (no offense to the artist, of course. This is just my opinion)

I must agree with your opinion.

They could do so much more with it. The head's too small, the mouth's too big, the arms are too long, body's too rigid, and the statue just doesn't appear lifelike.

To be fair though, it's still a giant statue of a tyrannosaur. Pretty darn cool.

Yeah, that's true. Even though my inner Paleontologist is screaming at the inaccuracies

Haha. Unfortunately, with the advancements in supposed dinosaur behavior and appearance even Jurassic Park could be considered inaccurate.

It has been. Even the movie rex, as awesome as it is, is very inaccurate. It's a little taller and longer than any known Tyrannosaurus that has been discovered, and it's arms are far too long. The only thing that might be considered accurate is it's head, particularly the 'wings' above the eyes, which is a theory that is gaining popularity fast among the Paleontological Community

Well, even though Jurassic Park is inaccurate, I do have to give it major props for being the film that sparked my childhood mind into a love of dinosaurs. From 4 till about 8, I knew more about dinosaurs then anything, and it's all thanks to films like The Land Before Time, Jurassic Park, and We're Back. All of which I'd say are not very accurate. And what's great is that I believe these films, even though they are almost two decades old in some cases can still cause a young kid to learn more about the subject matter, and that is all that should matter. With that all said and done, I can't wait till this game is released, some time next week!

Jurassic Park defined my childhood. I went to the premire at the age of 2, and from that moment on my life was changed. I'm extremely pumped up for this game

Jurassic park defined my childhood too. It was the first movie that I went to see in the cinema as a child. And I still remember how scared I was when T-Rex ate the lawyer, and even more when raptor ate Muldoon...following the movie, my parents bought me so many dino toys, so I could open my own Jurassic toy Park...oh those days :)

I wasn't scared throughout the entire film. Even though I was only 2 (going on 3) I was amazed moreso than scared. I actually came out of that theatre walking like I was the Tyrannosaur. After that, my parents started buying me JP and dinosaur toys. It's all I would play with. I own a ton of them still to this very day.
