To cheer everyone up, I present you with three Biff Bucks. Spend them wisely.

    BIFF-BUCKS-2T.jpg

Disclaimer: 'Biff Bucks' have no real currency value and can not be used to purchase goods or services provided by the public and private organizations of the world. They are about as authentic as Monopoly money and will not provide any joy aside from seeing Biff's face plastered on three small bills. It is recommended that you keep this to yourself and not tell your neighbours unless you want to be labeled as a 'butthead'. Keep 'Biff Bucks' away from small children and crazy, wild-eyed scientists.

im just saying...and not to be jerky....but alot of the fans have kept their mouth shut about the fisher price level of difficulty, the lack in variety of backdrops, the repeated liberal use of Einstein as Scooby Doo.....

because we focus on the good, great voice acting,...excellent story....even if the last one was alittle ...how would you say...not so interactive, and some of the things are a bit of a stretch. Its my love for the Back to the Future franchise that keeps me coming back for more..and you should be happy, because the gamer in me found more challenge in Bugs Bunny Birthday blowout. (no , seriously, that game is hard!)

Anyway.....more and more it feels like we are the teacher and you are the kid who keeps saying..."OHHH my homework is in here somewhere" but your obviously just scribbling something on a paper underneath your notebook, frantically trying to finish something you should've had done days ago...before we walk over and give you detention. Maybe more time with your studies, and less time with your hobbies *cough hector cough*

Im just saying, please don't break your promise of an april release. i don't care if it is midnight at the last possible hour over the weekend....but its just sad when a professional company of any kind, misses a deadline, when the deadline is pretty much all they have to go on. So many other companies let us down...don't be one of them.

this has nothing to do with jonesing for the game. this has all to do, with simply for filling a promise.

if i believed the time was going into our game, then i could say.."yeah, the delay is understandable"....but first Jurassic Park.....now potentially this...and HECTOR gets released on time?.....exactly who is organizing the programmers priorities and WHY is telltale hiring management from labor ready. Que? I don't like the idea that my game got delayed, because programmers were working on another game that got delayed. But then again...alot more people bought Jurassic Park....whoops, until you had to refund everyones money.

I'd hate to see Telltale lose its reputation, but missing *2* high profile games in a month.....bad business.

but hey..i'm sure hector will be....well....just....dynamite.

I agree with you but I still love BTTF and BTTF the game none the less.

We still have one more day of April to get it released. If tomorrow comes and goes with no game, then everybody has every right in the world to complain. But if it does get released tomorrow then Telltale kept their promise of it being released in April. People shouldn't be jumping the gun just because they wanted it today as opposed to tomorrow.
  • edited April 2011
True but still people said they rarely release on a Friday.

Ummm...... Dude aint it a bit early to B**** about delays..... I mean there was no official release date. We were only given it's going to be released next week (This week) and as far as I know it aint the end of the week as of yet =/
  • Back to the Future: Episode 4 for PC/Mac is coming later this week. Definitely not tomorrow, so no need to do the whole F5 thing then. :)

this is a post written on april 26th and so far alan hasnt lied to us yet so expect it tomorrow.

    Interesting that the first 4 episodes have received 4 different release dates;
    Episode 1 on a tuesday
    episode 2 on a wednesday
    episode 3 on a monday
    episode 4 on a friday

once we get a confirmed release month for episode 5, expect a thursday :D

Going off topic, I reckon the reason that JP was delayed was due to those PSN hackers - they hacked TT's game backup server and replaced the dinosaurs with TROLLS and it'll take 5 months to rectify >.>

well...the least they could do is make it up to us, and give us all a digital cookie...im just cranky cause my virtual sugars are low...i'm sorry gang.....i just wanted to fit in so bad, i didn't realize what i'd done to mr. hooper.

*sigh*..i've gone senile. *pulls pants up and walks out of room*

...yep...this is the closet. oh hi Justin Bieber....what are you doing in the...ohhhhhhhhhhh

Also Taylor, to be fair to Hector and TT, Hector, Ep 1 at least was a game that was designed and released by another company, based out of the UK. It has already been out for the iphone for a while at least, and Telltale just came on to help them release and I assume market Episodes 2 and 3. The reason it was announced and released so quickly was because I assume that relatively it didn't take nearly as much manpower hours to release as making and producing something in house, because most of the heavy lifting for episode 1 was done elsewhere earlier.

Now, bring on Episode 4 of BTTF. I have to find out how I'm gonna get out of Alternate 1985..again!

Why would you??? They have the id's, addresses, passwords, and potentially credit card numbers of EVERY PSN USER. That is beyond evil. It's beyond Twilight evil. Hell, it's beyond DISNEY EVIL. I hope these hackers are caught and thrown in jail forever. This is NOT something to root for. Hacking a game company is illegal. Hacking a game console is illegal. You shouldn't root for something that is illegal.

sounds like someones a lil mad he cant get on PSN
just keep track of your credit card purchases and you have nothing to worry about, chances are they only did it to damage sony's reputation anyway. Really jail for life because you cant play your game for a week? if anything blame sony for their crappy security and useless patches.

I don't really game online, but since this incident will affect the upload of BTTF Episode 3? That makes me upset.

And why should I blame Sony? They didn't hack their own network.
  • edited April 2011
They are just good hackers. And TellTale never said it was coming out today!
  • edited April 2011
Well if sony would take some of their huge profits and invest it in securing their networks, the situation would be avoided. Sony should know everything gets hacked sooner or later, they should've hired people to hack their network and fix these backdoors a long time ago. Instead they sue Geohot and release about 20 more useless patches that fixed nothing.

    don't you mean alternate 1986? :)

Anyway there is one more day of April, so as far as I'm concerned Telltale haven't lied to us and have kept their promise.

As for the psn hacks I am mortified. I've had to cancel my credit card because of this fiasco. I hope these hackers do get caught and are thrown into jail for a long time. Sony aren't innocent either. They should have encrypted our personal data, so something like this wouldn't happen. Isn't there a lawsuit against them now? I am more peeved that they kept it a secret for about 7 days, even though our personal information was at risk. They should have let us know sooner. It is inexcusable.
And no.. I don't use my ps3 a lot, especially not for online play, as I use my PC for that. So the fact that the psn network is down isn't really an issue for me.
