if anything blame sony for their crappy security and useless patches.
This is the truth of it. As a small indy game programmer for Android and web browser, one has to recognize and accept the existence of hackers/crackers and the rest of the gamut in between. Gaming companies have entire security departments for this reason and strive to hire better hackers than the majority of the 'bad guy' hackers, and primary user information should be in the most secure part of your system.
Yes, hackers are a pain in the rear. But yes, they do now and always will exist. If they're any sort of good (and they probably are since they cracked Sony), they would be nearly impossible to find (and probably in other countries where they couldn't be dug out anyhow). Because of this, responsibility kinda has to fall on the game company. They make assurances that they will keep your information secure when you make purchases from them.
I suppose it seems a cynical viewpoint to have, but at the same time, it would be nice if we could all leave our home and car doors unlocked and our SSN's written in marker on our foreheads, too, but that ain't happening either. It the mean time, companies we make purchases from need to have better locks on their doors as well.

That is true. Sony needs to make their system better if they want to stay in business.
And by the by, to a programmer, Release Deadlines are a special kind of evil that come from the deepest darkest circle of hell. *LOL* It doesn't excuse missing them, but usually as deadline approaches, Murphy's Law kicks in and everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Things that have been working just fine since the first week of development suddenly and mysterious break and have to be fixed. They're also the primary source of argument between Lead Programmer and upper management. *L* My boss always asks me what day I think something will be done on, and I usually want to give him which month. We usually compromise on a deadline week and where ever it ends up in that week is where it is.
Been sitting for the past 2 weeks making a 3d model of the Delorean... watching the movies... listening to the score... NEED the game now! Couldn't be any more pumped! C'mon telltale, stop the pain!
Just finished watching BTTF the ride on a dvd and it is not the actual ride!!!
yes it is, the ride goes to 2015, then the ice age, then the dinosaur era. You're in the delorean and it moves around with the time circuit display there.

Youve been making a model of THE delorean?!?! Awesome! Can you upload a picture of it? Now I feel like drawing a picture (if I can) of either the delorean or Marty.
I do think that the timing of the Hector release was a mistake. Even though only one programmer was assigned to help port Hector, it does seem to have caused some resentment among the (apparently pretty large) BTTF fanbase because of the holding pattern on BTTF. Also it feels like Hector fell through the cracks with the more anticipated news about JP and BTTF.
I know I personally looked at Hector and went "Eh, not worth it. BTTF will be out shortly." Whereas if it were spaced out, I may have gotten it to hold me over between episodes.
In a way yes! The version on the dvd in the car is animated. Not the real replica of a flux capacitor or time circuits.(Me typing that reminded me of "Time Circuits on. flux capacitor uhh fluxxy.)
Ghostbusters was a good groundbreaker in the sense that it was one of the first 'sequels in the form of a video game' but the game wasnt THAT great.
The video game/movie sequel has been done many many times before. Also the prequel video game is pretty popular too. One of my favorites was a sequel game done loong before Ghostbusters, Tron 2.0 anyway, I don't think it was that groundbreaking, it was a so-so game as you said though.
I never saw any of those movies or played any of them. But Back To The Future the game is better than Cars The Game and better than Madagascar the Game (That was fun though.)(And my cousin likes the Cars game.) And Narnia Prince Caspian was good too even though it had a couple parts I did not like. (More like a few.)

Well, Star Wars: KOTOR, Blade Runner and GoldenEye are probably three of the best games based on a movie. And then there's a tier of really good movie games (Battle for Middle Earth, Jedi Knight, first Riddick game and BTTF). I have written a post on movie games here, going in detail what makes them good, and why the most of movie games are crappy.

I thought it was a great. It captured the feel of the movies and the gameplay was fun. As far as licensed games go, it is up there will the best of them imo. It was written by Dan Akyroyd and Harold Ramis.
Btw there is going to be a Ghostbusters 3 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1289401/
well, while I wait for episode four I guess I'll watch Catherine Tate on the Office's farewell to Michael Scott special.... Yes, Donna Noble is on the Office tonight! Well, isn't that Wizard?!

Hello?
Bwhahahaahahahahaaaaa That's just awsome
If not, expect the forum to explode with enough anger to fuel Chuck Norris's coffee maker.
He won't have to. His coffee will do that for him. No one brews Chuck Norris's coffee but Chuck Norris.
or have a picture of him with a troll face on is ID card.
wait a minute Doc! Are you telling me that this forum is going nuclear? =p.

QX I am a ninja!!!
What about Ghostbusters on the PS3/360?
^^^This, or King Kong was great, there are very good licensed/movie games out there.
They haven't added the two download buttons yet, but I suspect an update soon.
it's been like that for me for the past like 2 weeks. lol
Sorry, guess I'm not as obsessed as you guys
wow.
