You spelled 'comrade' wrong. This thread is irrelevant. Anyway, it was a fairly fun evening for all involved.

Look, Puzzlebox. If it offends younglings, it's their fault for clicking it. That being said, it saves face for me. :D

:o Really? I had no idea! Oh, thank you so much!

Really, all of you at this forum have been exceedingly kind considering my origins here and you're all (for the most part) absolutely wonderful. The only present any of you need get for me is your kindness.

That being said, since I'm not a greedy ass; that means I get awesome shit right? :D

To atone for the mod's supposed wrongdoing in this thread, I edited the thread title.

You may rejoice any time now.

Yes, if you tell me what you want. Within reason. I'm not getting you a pony.

So... I can't get the complete boxed set of Tatami Galaxy? Well, how about an assortment of candies from Japan or something? I shall gift you something unique to the South when your birthday comes around. Well, except shell casings. That might be in poor taste.
  • edited April 2011
The Tatami Galaxy boxset is pretty cheap. If this site is to be trusted anyway. Buying online can be like gambling.
  • edited April 2011
    It's fake- it's a region free disc.

Oh wait, I forgot you're in Jersey now and not Japan. Sorry! Can you send me some orange people? :P

    Happy belated burtday Comrade! :D

May this new turn of age bring you wisdom and swift death to your capitalist bourgeois opressors

I think all it brought him was the ability to buy his own vodka.

Many thanks, my Irish brother! The capitalists shall rue my ability to legally consume alcohol!

Also an Android phone. Oh, and someone actually got me a Soviet Army jacket. I somehow ended up with two of them.

I will never understand why you're old enough at 18 to vote and have a say in how your country is run, but it's not until 21 that you're mature enough to handle alcohol.

Yeah, that's never made much sense to me either, but it never bothered me either. I've been over 21 for almost two and a half years, and I've had three drinks and tasted several others, and I've liked none of them.

My friends would be so lucky to always have a voluntary designated driver, if they weren't such idiots that they never made use of it.

I do think that the drinking culture is emphasised less in the US than it is in AU/UK. A couple of Americans I know have claimed to never have been drunk, but I can't think of a single Aussie or Brit of my acquaintance in the same boat.

To prove the point, I only had a single screwdriver yesterday.

Ditto. But I have tried alcohol. It didn't taste very nice. I'll stick with J2O's.

And (I hope you had a) Happy Birthday Comrade Pants!
