Its oddly fortunate that you are having issues, since I had to run off and prepare a salad.
(My old man forced me to! Boo!)

    Yeah.
I went on the steam website and I do see the game, but now my laptop is refusing all internet access. Dont know how my relatives are getting it all but me. Or how I got the game since I never hit "accept"
Interesting enough, some idiot thought it would be a good idea to make the
"How to" fix need the internet:mad:

    Ok I found the solution.
Turns out the internet was password protected, and instead of telling me, the computer said "failed to connect" I've started up steam so lets hurry:D

Sorry, but my computer is just not doing it at all unfortunately.

I'd give it another shot but my old man is raging big time!

    Sorry for the inconvience.

How can I get the "Air. Wind. Sun. Pain. I Am All of This, and Your Mom Makes a Fine Pasta Dinner" achievement on AaAaAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity?
After a lot of trying, I've just made a little more than 35000 points on that challenge, therefore getting the five stars ranking... but I'm afraid Steam won't check my achievement. It's working oddly, it doesn't allow me to see my community pages (wishlist, etc...) and even in the summer camp page my previous achievements don't appear!!

EDIT: Thank goodness!! Steam is working properly again and I have all my summer camp tickets back... including the "AaAaAA!!" one!!!

    congrats Javi.
It's not even that hard. I got it easily.

well but you have more than 15 fps on it.
  • edited July 2011
Already getting poor on the damn thing, even put 10 things in my wishlist to be part of the contest in the end. :p
So far with the tickets I have redeemed stuff for Killing Floor, Magicka and Beat Hazard. When I get more tickets I am going for Serious Sam.
In the sale I have bought:
    Arcainia - Gothic 4.
    Outfit DLC's for Killing Floor.
    Audio Surf.
Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode 1 and 2.

    Frozen Synapse:

POSSIBLE GAME OF THE YEAR MATERIAL.

Ive heard that is a very good game.

As for me, haven't bought anything(nothing interests me besides synapse, and I can wait until the Christmas sale when I have more money) but once steam comes back on, I can easily get the tickets for the free alien breed 2 game, and I already have the TF2 shades:D

This sale is making me spend money. I don't like it at all.

I just bought Fallout: New Vegas. I just can't help myself when I see a 75% off sign!

It IS a good game. Starting it up, this game hits you in the face with how badass everything about it is. It can run on damn near anything but looks and sounds FANTASTIC aesthetically. The mechanics and control allow EXTREMELY nuanced and complex tactical commands. It's definitely a deep and complex game, but the basic mechanics can be picked up pretty quickly in the tutorial and a few early Campaign matches. You can play a simulation of the turn and give your opponents simulated orders. There are five different game modes in multiplayer, MOST of which are really interesting. The story is engaging and the writing is HILARIOUS. The script for this game has a very snarky wit about it that I find absolutely charming. The balance of this game is INCREDIBLE. THIS GAME HAS PLAY BY EMAIL, OH MY GOD, HOW RETRO IS THAT? THE SOUNDTRACK, oh my god, the soundtrack, OH MY GOD. AND THE DOSSIERS, all the optional lore and story elements that you can read through are just extremely well thought-out and written, and it's full of intrigue, and I'm not even all THAT far in yet but DAMN if this game's story doesn't suck you in! THE MANUAL IS FUN TO READ. Oh man it's SO GOOD to have a game that is just EXCELLENT in EVERY SINGLE CONCEIVABLE WAY. I have yet to find a fault with it, and I only say POSSIBLE game of the year material because I always want to let later games have something of a shot at it, but MAN do they have a MASSIVE hill to climb with this one blazing the trail! Holy shit this is one of the BEST GAMES I HAVE PLAYED in modern times, it REALLY is. I can't praise it enough!

So, pointless to post here because everyone should have it anyway, but today Monkey Island 1 and 2 SE are 50% off.

That is a coincedence. Irony is when a President for Cat Rights is mauled to death by Kittens.

To anyone who has Beat Hazard: Have you played this game for more than 2 seconds and liked it? Because I entirely hate this game but I want the ticket.

Was fun, but flashing lights gave me a massive headache, and the 2 TotalBiscuit videos of it also gave me headaches so I wont be getting that achievement, or DLC(unless I get all the other things I want.)

Poker Night at the Inventory just got updated with a new achievement that looks like it'll come into play tomorrow.

So for you Telltalers trying to get all the tickets that you can, you're in luck!

Damn me usung the telltale version and uninstalled the steam version after I got the TF2 items.
Also, for an easier way for the demo achievement, I think Terraria has a demo and that is real quick to install.
  • edited July 2011
Damn, I used the demo of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, which not only froze up when I tried to lower the graphics settings, but also totally screwed my graphics when I managed to alt+tab out of it and force quit it. I ended up having to restart my computer. But at least it still counted for the ticket.

I used the Alien Breed demo, and I kinda like that game so I think I am going to buy all 3. :)

But for now I just used more money on Steam and bought the Frozenbyte collection which contained. Trine, Shadowgrounds and Shadowgrounds Survivor.

Now I am pulling my hair out to get the Beat Hazard ticket.

...you do know Alien Breed 2 is one of the prizes for the Prize Booth, right?

Yeah I do, but I don't think I will get enough tickets to get that and Serious 8 that I also want.

I'm sorry, but unless someone is going to buy me Jamestown, I'm totally against the idea of begging on Telltale's forums. :P

With all the free content I've recieved via the internet, it always surprises me how just asking ends up with the highest result of success.

Where can I find the firecracker bomb on Spiral Knights?
It's odd. I saw this achievement a few days ago but it suddenly disappeared and has reappeared today.
And today I've seen for a moment another achievement that has suddenly disappeared. Just in case it reappear in the next days: How can I publish a video on Steam?

In the Community tab, click on "View Videos" under "Actions" on the right side. You'll be asked to link to your YouTube account, and then you can add videos from that to your Steam profile page.

It would be a problem if my YouTube account isn't linked to the same e-mail address than my Steam account? Maybe I'd better create a new YouTube account using the same e-mail I used for Steam?

I'm almost certain that the email for the account doesn't matter.

It seems the video-sharing feature is kind of broken right now for some people. In the past I've successfully linked my YouTube account to my Steam account and even shared a video. Now it says I have no videos (even though it shows the "Videos (1)" in my side bar) and when I try to link my account it says there is an error with retrieving the username. So I and many others can't actually get that achievement currently.

I've been trying to get the Super Meat Boy achievement. Getting A+ on all those levels is hard. That is the achievement, yes? Getting A+ on all the Hell world levels?

The time you have to get under is actually a bit faster than A+ on all levels.

Its at the bazaar in the Haven. one of the merchants sells it for 3,000 crowns.

And I have steam today working(who knows for how long) and got plenty of tickets. Enough to get me the free game, and the MNC gear.
Which apparantly the gear helps earn another ticket. The only DLC I want anymore is the portal 2 gear.
