    Ewww...

I'd probably still buy it though...

Of course you would because knowing you, you find some way of making evil minions out of it.

Also, the official plural is "Euro". ;)

    Correct, but:
"What should I bring?" - "Bring some Euro." sounds blöd.

Given how sweaty everybody is at those conventions, I wouldn't want to know how that smells... it's probably just collected sweat from Alan and Mark. :D

(...) I'm not exactly sure if that's just a photoshopped picture or actually a photo of the finished flask design by you.

Also: Eeeuw, boys, PLEASE! There's still a woman joining you on Wednesday!

Time to reiterate why it's called "Eau de Cologne". And yes, Alcoremortis, there IS a connection. Unfortunately, the original stuff is still around, used by seriously old women, and that stuff makes you faint. This is not a joke. 4711 is a poisonous gas, not a perfume.

    Ah! Hence the color. :D

So you expect us to stop sweating? With a pretty lady joining us, that's even harder to accomplish!

Why do I suddenly have to think of this puzzle?

It's really a pity I can't join you ... but working till 6.30 pm, I wouldn't even be able to be in Cologne in time.

Well, Mark and I are currently IN Cologne now! Ready for the week ahead!
  • edited August 2011
    Good luck :)

Edit: Oh, and also, have a great week!

Germans, you know what to do. Get Alan and Mark drunk and make them reveal everything about the new Monkey Island-game they've secretly been working on for the last couple of years.

Edit: Wow, I just realised I would only have to drive for an hour to get to Cologne. I have an insane amount of work to do though, but I would love to do my part in getting Alan and Mark drunk. Probably not able to make it though.

    Exactly!

So, I didn't have a TON of room to pack free goodies but I was able to squeeze in about 5 each of the SDCC exclusive Back to the Future and The Walking Dead posters. NOW who's coming? :)

The jet lag is totally different than I thought it would be. I haven't been able to sleep a wink (save for an hour or so on the plane) since I woke up in California on Sunday morning.

    yay!

That said, who's in town tomorrow night, maybe for a more casual meet and greet?

Didn't Mark tell you? I invited you guys to my place tomorrow ;)

Others are welcome as well, too, of course, as long as my apartment can fit them all...

Okay, so you're making me choose between my job and a free Back to the Future poster... I was hoping that choices like this would be easier at this point in my life...

It's only an hour's flight for me, and I would for sure be doing it if the timing didn't mean taking 2 days off work!

Hope you guys have an awesome time!

You guys should come get us at our hotel, the Cologne Marriott, as we have NO idea where anything is in the city. What say you to that eh?
  • edited August 2011
Sure... we pick you up and then just take a walk across the railway bridge, which is maybe a 25 minutes walk. Since I made a reservation for 8:15 we'll just pick you up at 7:45 or something?

Or we take a train at the main station, which is of course quicker.
