Hang on... Do I already have Worms Reloaded?

    ...yes.

    Never mind then!

New one from Indie Royale - the Winter Bundle. Contains:

    BIT.TRIP RUNNER
    Conquest of Elysium 3
    Greed Corp.
Hamlet or the Last Game Without MMORPG Features, Shaders and Product Placement
    Leave Home
    They Breathe

Get a couple of soundtracks if you beat the average.
  • edited December 2012
Did you pick up Hamlet... when it came out on Steam? I remember you saying you were thinking about getting it. Not sure if I'm tempted by any of the games in this bundle, but I haven't looked too much into them yet either.
  • edited December 2012
Never picked it up. Guess it's a good thing I didn't, huh.

Okay, so, Titan Quest has been added to the Humble THQ Bundle, as well as the Red Faction: Armageddon Path to War DLC. Not that anybody who didn't already purchase it cares.
  • edited December 2012
Oh hey, I already own those as well! Back to the Goodwill thread with me!
  • edited December 2012
Why only add Titan Quest when Immortal Throne improves the game a lot?

    Possible double-dip?
  • edited December 2012
Bit surprised they didn't go with Space Marine as the bonus game...

I have a co-worker who owns Saints Row 3 for PS3. He said "'Saints Row 3' and 'charity' should not be uttered in the same breath."

What a joke. Some interesting games in there for a change, and ALL games require Steam. I think I'll unsubscribe.
Better to be Steam than Origin.

Seriously, with this intolerance you have for any-DRM-whatsoever, you're missing out on some pretty good games.
Besides, not everyone is EA or Ubisoft.

He might have a point but it is still a really good game.
And well the DLC is not included so THQ will get some extra money from that too.
  • edited December 2012
THQ really needs the money though...they are sinking fast.

    Seriously?

What with Saints Row's popularity (and production value, tbh), I would think they'd be doing better.

edit: Okay, wait. Wikipedia says THQ netted $136 million last year. But then, if they're doing so hot, why are they selling games on indie bundles?

I can't decide now if you were being sarcastic.

Yes, a company that sells a high-profile successful thing can do badly. They invested way too much in uDraw, drained cash acquiring licenses for their licensed game business, and spent too much on acquiring various studios with no apparent planning or reasoning.
  • edited December 2012
Yea, they are in the middle of going down fast...that's why humble bundle did a bundle for them. Most of their executives have already abandoned ship.

Because last I checked they have $36 million in cash and $22 million in available credit while costing $15 million per month to run and having to pay back tens of millions to creditors by 2014.

From what I heard they "bet the farm" on a drawing tablet and it is a colossal failure for them. That's why.

    New Game in the bundle:
Warhammer 40K: Dawn Of War GOTY.
Which doen't seem to include any of the expansions yet again. Not even Winter Assault which you normally have to buy if you want the base game on Steam.
Edit: Or does it? I will not know until I download the game.
  • edited December 2012
I don't even know if there's a Steam entry for the GotY edition on its own. That's really confusing.
  • edited December 2012
    Well there is now.
But I am actually happy anyway because I made Steam remove that game a few days back and now I can finally play it in English. The German version was horrible.
  • edited December 2012
Is there? Not that I'm doubting you, but how come it doesn't show when I search for 'dawn of war'?
  • edited December 2012
Well I own it now so thee has to be. The store page links to the Gold Edition though.
Edit: The download includes the Winter Assault executable so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Still only a CD-key for the GOTY though. Not for the Gold Edition.

Under Downloads it says I'm downloading the GOTY but shows the picture of the Gold Edition. Size is correct for Gold too but my internet is so slow... This will take forever.
  • edited December 2012
Well, this is confusing. Not that it matters, since I already own the Gold edition. :(

EDIT: According to the Humble Mumble blog, it IS just the GotY edition.
  • edited December 2012
And you cannot get WA on Steam any more because it thinks you already own the gold edition even though you do not. Nice move THQ.
  • edited December 2012
Not entirely on-topic, but THQ is giving away Metro 2033 free via their Facebook page.

So here's an interesting one. The Build a Greenlight Bundle.

It's like the standard Build-a-Bundles, but all the games are entered on Steam's Greenlight service, and when (if?) they actually get greenlit, you get Steam keys for the ones you've purchased.

Pretty much all of them are on Desura, and the ones which aren't will be soon. So there you go.

New Indie Royale bundle - their second Christmas one. Contains:

The Binding of Isaac (and its DLC, Wrath of the Lamb)
    Closure
    Shank 2
    Snapshot
    Indie Game: The Movie!

And if you pay over the average, you’ll also get Dungeon Defenders (and its DLC) and Legend of Grimrock.
  • edited December 2012
That's a pretty sweet deal, since all the DLC for Dungeon Defenders runs you about 50-60 bucks alone.
  • edited December 2012
ALL the DLC? That's a bloody brilliant deal then.
  • edited December 2012
Yes, all the DLC. That's madness.

So, uh, remember this? 'cause it's got La Mulana and its soundtrack in it now as bonuses if you beat the average.

    So, uh, go get it.

La-Mulana is one of my all-time favorites. Buy the sh*t out out of this bundle.

Yeah but the best thing about this is that you get Fester Mudd and Leisure Suit Larry 1 VGA for free after a certain numble of bundles sold.
  • edited December 2012
Glad I bought one then (just for La Mulana). I hope they reach the Larry goal. Only a few hundred bundles sold away from that.
  • edited December 2012
Wow. That is a LOT of bonus stuff. Makes me a little guilty I didn't pay a huge amount for my four games.

    ...oh well.

    EDIT: 99%! C'mon, just a few more...
