OK, so rather thankfully, IndieBundle.org have changed when their bundles go live - which is good, 'cause I had no idea up until now. Their site's really not very clear about that.
Anyway, they'll now go live every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. Expect me to post on said days.
Also, there's a new bundle from them - the Spring Cleaning Bundle - and it's a big one. Here's the list:
Games
- Clean 'em Up (Desura, Win)
- Koya Rift (Desura, Win)
- Metal Dead (Desura, Win, Greenlight
- P-3 Biotic (Desura, Win)
- Plith (Desura, Win)
- Shadows on the Vatican: Episode I (Desura, Win, Greenlight)
- Terraform (Desura, Win)
- The Journey Down: Episode I (Desura/Steam, Win/Mac/Linux)
- Visati (Desura, Win)
Music Albums
- 9th Wizard: Rings of Eternity (OST)
- Bug Spray (by Space Boyfriend)
- Vacation Wasteland EP (by Slime Girls)
All that is $12, and if you've heard of actually heard of half of those, then you are even more of a nerd than I am.
(If a game's got Greenlight next to it, that means it's currently on Steam Greenlight, and if you buy the bundle and vote for it on Greenlight, you'll get a Steam key if it gets greenlit.)
- Nosferatu: The Wrath Of Malachi
- Guilty Gear Isuka
- Gun Metal
- SRS: Street Racing Syndicate
- A Game Of Dwarves (Steam)
- Gettysburg: Armored Warfare (Steam)
- Warlock: Master Of The Arcane (Steam)
...and two unlocks that we don't find out about until next week.
Just a heads-up: it's currently in Happy Hour and the BTA has a 'Special Easter Price' (currently $3.19). If you were in doubt now may be your chance
$1 gets you both Red Orchestra games along with their soundtracks, while beating the average (currently $2.86) will also get you Killing Floor, along with its soundtrack and 11 DLC packs. Pretty damn good deal!
Also, the Retro Groupee from Groupees, with Dead Pixels, Smooth Operators, Forceline & Sylla for >= $1 and Commando 8 Bit, Anodyne and Bleed for >= $3.
Dead Pixels & Anodyne are on Steam; Smooth Operator, Forceline, Commando 8 Bit and Bleed are on Desura.
Plus, the Gala Store is selling their popular Crazy Machines Bundle, Star Wolves Bundle and King's Bounty Bundle again.
£1 or about $1.50
- Pushcat (DRM-Free/Desura, Win/Mac)
- Metal Drift ((Steam, Win)
Beat the Average - £3.94 or about $6 at time of writing
- Avencast: Rise of the Mage (Steam, Win)
- Chains (Steam, Win/Mac)
- Nikopol: Secrets of the Immortals (Steam, Win)
- Obulis (Steam, Win)
- Post Mortem (Steam, Win)
- Wasteland Angel (Steam, Win)
I've played through Nikopol, since a colleague lent it to me, thinking I might like it. Way too stressful for my liking. The puzzles aren't too bad though.
As you might have guessed, all these games are currently in Alpha status, with some also on Steam Greenlight, so if they get approved, expect a Steam key from them. The entire bundle's a flat $5, and it nets you...
I don't think the Mumble Indie Bungle has been mentioned anywhere yet. Note that these are mostly low quality parodies before you get excited about the name similarities.
For nothing you get:
30 Flights of Loathing
Gurney
Proteas
World of Glue
Spy Parity
For more than nothing you get:
Carp Life
I've only tried the free games since I didn't have a credit card on hand.
I didn't understand what was going on on Gurney and Proteas.
Spy Parity has a really silly concept where you have to control two spies at once in mirrored environments and you have to always move both spies at once. I didn't get very far.
30 Flights of Loathing is a stair climbing/suicide simulator. I thought it was pretty fun, but you're done with it in a minute and it has little replay value.
The same goes for World of Glue, which is a retro platformer. It gave me a good laugh, so I think it's definitely worth trying.
Time for another Build a Bundle! This one's from Topware Interactive, and lets you pick from:
- Earth 2140 [GOG, Win]
- Earth 2150 Trilogy [GOG, Win]
- Earth 2160 [Steam/GOG, Win]
- East India Company Gold [Topware Direkt, Win]
- Jagged Alliance 2: Wildfire [Steam/GOG, Win]
- Pirates of Black Cove (Gold Edition) [Topware Direkt, Win]
- World War 2: Panzer Claws [Topware Direkt, Win]
Pick at least 2 for a minimum of $1.50.
The fact that Pirates of Black Cove isn't on Steam is, sadly, a dealbreaker for me, but you guys might be more inclined to get it than me.
EDIT: Gah, the site's got another bundle worth mentioning! This one's another Alpha Bundle, and it's had absolutely ZERO promotion, which explains why I didn't know about it!
Min of $1:
- Enola [First Person Adventure/Horror, Desura/DRM-Free, Win]
- Pirate Hell [No idea - strategy?, Desura/DRM-Free, Win/Linux] Min of $4:
- Dary's Legend [Rogue-like Dungeon Crawler, Desura/DRM-Free, Win/Mac]
- Realm Explorer [Open World Exploration, Desura/DRM-Free, Win]
Starting to see why it's had no promotion.
EDIT2: Should really read the entire e-mail before posting.
If you got La Mulana through a Groupees bundle, check your profile for your Steam key.
It was in the 'Build a Greenlight' bundle, so check that one.
I find it utterly impossible to take Gamespot seriously. That video was hard to watch.
Also, since it might get buried, a quick reminder:
If you got the 'Build a Greenlight" bundle, go back and check your profile for your La Mulana Steam key.
I disagree. There have been quite a number of games I've watched reviews for where IGN actually gives games a reasonably well fleshed out review, while Gamespot's attitude is "It's... okay I guess. Let me tell you a bit of the story in a monotone voice."
EDIT: Plus, Gamespot gave Zelda: Skyward Sword a 7.5 because the reviewer obviously couldn't grasp why the controls were different from Twilight Princess.
If you don't have a penis word that fits, don't bother making a penis-pun.
But yeah EA isn't going to care about contributing anything of value to the bundle, they just want to get more people to join Origin, and this is a tactic that will certainly get some people to sign up
Yeah, but the female reproductive organs are fantastic. Origin... Not so much.
Well, there is the whole lure you in and stick you with the fine print aspect... lol hey HEY I'm joking. Calm down. Origin is much much worse.
The problem is I wouldn't mind Origin except for one simple thing: Origin means we cannot get most of the recent EA games on Steam any more. I really have no idea why they do that. They'd have just as many Origin accounts (even more because more people would buy their games) and would not have to manage this horrible client.
Well Steam was horrible in the past but I was late to the party and started using it after everything was fixed. Lets hope one day EA will fix Ori-barf.
Honestly, I didn't give a rat's ass about ME2 since I've got it on console and Steam, and since none of the other games in the bundle interest me, I'll give it a miss. Still, interesting idea. Be curious to see how well it does.

if you own it on steam you can register your SteamKey with OriClit. So you also own it there.

- Another World
- Funky Smugglers
- Raiden Legacy
...and also, this week's Hundle Weekly Sale is the library of Tripwire.
$1 gets you both Red Orchestra games along with their soundtracks, while beating the average (currently $2.86) will also get you Killing Floor, along with its soundtrack and 11 DLC packs. Pretty damn good deal!

If so, here's the Catnip Bundle.
£1 or about $1.50

...and there's two mystery titles as well. Hmm.
I've played through Nikopol, since a colleague lent it to me, thinking I might like it. Way too stressful for my liking. The puzzles aren't too bad though.
No idea about the others though.
As you might have guessed, all these games are currently in Alpha status, with some also on Steam Greenlight, so if they get approved, expect a Steam key from them. The entire bundle's a flat $5, and it nets you...
- Gravi (Desura/DRM-Free/Greenlight, PC/Mac)

- Samphi (Desura/DRM-Free, Win)

- Flotilla (Win)
Beat the Average (currently $3.86)
- Thirty Flights of Loving (Win/Mac) + OST
The first mystery game is Scratches: Director's Cut (Steam, Win).
The latest Indie Royale bundle is up - the Spring Sun bundle. Minimum's currently £3.23 (about $4.50) for:

- Gentrieve 2 (Desura, Win/Mac/Linux) + OST
- Knytt Underground (Desura, Win/Mac)
- SATAZIUS (Steam/Desura, Win)
- The Real Texas (Desura, Win/Mac/Linux) + OST
Beat the average to get a chiptune album. Here's a sample.
For nothing you get:
30 Flights of Loathing
Gurney
Proteas
World of Glue
Spy Parity
For more than nothing you get:
Carp Life
I've only tried the free games since I didn't have a credit card on hand.

For £5.49 (about $7.50), you get:
- AI War: Fleet Commander
- Fortune Winds: Ancient Trader
- Sanctum
- Underrail (Alpha)
- Zigfrak
Extras unlock as more bundles are sold.
Please let me know if the link doesn't work.
The second, and last, mystery game is Chrome: Specforce (Steam, Win).
So Indie Gala is going to be doing a weekly bundle from now on in addition to their usual ones. The first one is...
The Beat Hazard Bundle!
$1 or more:
- Beat Hazard [Steam, Win/Mac/Linux]
- SoulCaster + OST [Desura, Win]

Gamespot is like a bit less evil IGN's brother.

EDIT: Plus, Gamespot gave Zelda: Skyward Sword a 7.5 because the reviewer obviously couldn't grasp why the controls were different from Twilight Princess.
A couple of reasonably fleshed out reviews dun make them less evil.
EDIT: Eh, nevermind.
For $5:
- 99 Levels to Hell [Desura, Win/Mac]
- Guy vs. The Wicked and Nefarious Land [Desura, Win/Mac]
- Rogue's Tale [Desura, Win]
$7 also gets you the Alphas of:
- Claustrophobia [Desura, Win]
- Dark Gates [Desura, Win/Mac/Linux]
All these games (except Dark Gates] are also on Steam Greenlight.
Hey, did you know that Mass Effect 2 is an indie game? Apparently EA does...
Same reason there's no ME3 on Steam, or Dead Space 3 or really anything new EA publishes.
This deal was made with EA, no way they're gonna give out Steam keys.
Because Ori-shlong.
But yeah EA isn't going to care about contributing anything of value to the bundle, they just want to get more people to join Origin, and this is a tactic that will certainly get some people to sign up
Oh please. We made them all already in the Ori-dick thread.
Well, there is the whole lure you in and stick you with the fine print aspect... lol hey HEY I'm joking. Calm down. Origin is much much worse.

Well Steam was horrible in the past but I was late to the party and started using it after everything was fixed. Lets hope one day EA will fix Ori-barf.
Well they should fix that then. And seeing that they are now an indie developer that really needs money...
... okay. I cannot even finish that sentence.
if you own it on steam you can register your SteamKey with OriClit. So you also own it there.
Do I? Well, then I guess this bundle is doubly useless then!
