Didn't see any others up for her ;)

post anything clem related :)

Firstly make sure she is fed in episode one she may not say anything but others will notice you doing it.

try and save her ! if you don't she constantly reminds you...guilt trip ;)

also if possible find a new walkie talkie for her or if you saved doug try and get him to fix it later on ! (not confirmed if it's possible)

I thought she was Asian at first, then I realized from the photo of her parents that she's black.

She's a cute kid, seems sweet.

That's really all I got about Clementine.

Clem is mentioned in many other threads. Most Emotional Moments thread particularly comes to mind. No need for me to rehash all that here. She's adorable and nothing will happen to her if I can help it. Nuff said.

Getting Clementine to like Lee is top priority! because it will be much easier for people to trust Lee, if Clementine trusts Lee as well! because who would expect the loving Lee, the guy who adopted and protected the poor little orfened Clementine, of being a convicted murderer?

Clementine is the perfect way to make Lee seem trustworthy to any stranger he might come across.

I'm not knocking the creation of the thread. It is just a lot of people, me especially, have written quite a few posts about her already, and I am not going to retype all that :p lol

Am I all alone in thinking she was Asian at first? :S
  • edited April 2012
Guess so. I certainly didn't think she was Asian.

Course that might have something to do with my first wife being Asian and my children half Asian. *shrug*

Not in a weird kind of way, but you know what I mean. I would have expected an 8-year-old to be a nuisance that would simply get in the way, but she has proven me wrong. There is a true bond between Lee and Clementine, and the entire apocalypse is something horrible for a little girl to experience.
  • edited April 2012
Well, to survive a Zompocalypse she had to be made of stern stuff. I find myself, as a player, becoming quite fond of Clem. That's rare in any computer game, at least for me. I usually have no feelings for the characters at all, but in this game, I can't help bonding sort of. If Clem gets killed, that would suck.

She must be special to be an 8 year old first grader.

That would make her the oldest first grader in all of Georgia!

I'm wondering which telltale screwed up on, her being 8 years old or being a first grader...

Love the Clementine appreciation, but I think one thread is enough. ;)

She might be half Asian, her mom looks Asian in the photograph.

I was eight in first grade, and I hope Vainamoinen can vouch that I'm not an idiot. I am legally blind and I got held back for developmental reasons that had noting to do with intelligence.

Also, she could just have overprotective parents who held her back on purpose because they didn't think she was ready for school. It happens.

We should Stick all Character Threads wait a second then there wouldn't even be room on the front page for bumped threads or new threads

Clementine's pretty darn awesome. She owes lee an I told you so for the "Theres nobody in there it's just locked" line of Lees

Am I the only one who hopes that Duck won't be filling the entire annoying kid quota? I mean Clementine gets grabbed a couple times {not her fault} she has to pee {also not her fault] She hurts her finger {also not really her fault} but is generally a perfect child. Duck on the other hand looks like andy/spike from toy story and runs off at the mouth constantly and makes stupid mistakes. It's like Goofus and Gallant. now we've seen Duck can shut up. Will we see Clementine be annoying is the question.
  • edited May 2012
! I thought Duck looked like the kids from toy story too, haha.

I guess I wasn't the only one who thought she was Asian, a couple of my other friends agreed with me about it.... though I don't really trust one of them 'cuz he didn't think Lee looked black.

She's supposed to be like an very light skinned black but she looks asian.

Kind of reminds me of the thing on tmz about the jerry seinfeld car commercial where the casting director put down on the form "african american but not too black"

Tons of us in America are mixed race though, it's not like you have to try hard to find one.

Even that Zimmerman guy is part black believe it or not

I'm a fan of Clementine, no question. My hats off to the writing team for creating a child-protagonist that defies the mold of child characters that are more a burden then anything else (see The Walking Dead Season 2...) or are so annoying you want to hit the mute button whenever they talk.

Everything she says is worth listening to and every element about her makes me actually *want* to keep her safe. I can't recall the last game/film/book where I've felt that way. Just outstanding.

As for the poll, I don't hesitate to dispatch Zombie Babysitter with extreme prejudice in front of her, or either of the other zombies that corner/grab her. In this Apocalypse it's likely not the worst thing she'll see (i.e. Lily stacking dead bodies to burn) and I feel that Lee would want to make it clear that he'll do whatever he had to, no matter how bloody, to keep her safe.

Lee and Clementine can pray for the souls of the dead or have makeshift funerals when its safe now it's about survival

though if clem is ultimately safe regardless which ever situation we have to save clem or let her die is biased so we have to save her/ she is savedm, it would make the choice kinds moot. i'm all for her being attacked (not to badly) and needing rescue but not when a character will die that we like aka carly/doug/kenny/ likable random.

I can't tell if thats just unnatural hatred for Clem or your unnatural minecraft obsession. You can't make weapons from clems bones because if she gets killed it takes a long time to become bones
