if they don't have the new episode out by the 1st I am so done, TTG is poorly managed no news at all for over a month, its pathetic, only an idiot could screw up a self selling title like TWD, what it takes to make a game work set aside ( which is everyones counter argument in defense of TTG) they have failed on all communicative levels as well, if their staff can't handle the work load fire them and hire new ones. find a better management team. sadly I purchased the whole season, I will be looking into a refund if they don't come out with SOMETHING by the 1st,
i say mid july is my limit for ep2 before i move on and get stuck in to darksiders 2
Milo is human! Finally!!! You give me hope Milo. I know you have fought hard to defend TTG, and I have tried to keep quiet but it's getting a little crazy here. I almost want it to go until mid July so I can see the day that Milo was finally fed up. Cheers Bro!
Yeah, I give up here. Been patient for too long. Been fun, guys, but this is about as much as I can take with absolutely NO WORD from the developers or publishers. NONE AT ALL.
un-frogging believable. this is bad. tell tale looks like shit on this one. too bad, i thought a walking dead game would be fun but this experience has sucked all of that fun out of it. looks like RE6 and the new black ops will have to be my zombie fix, cuz im not getting anything else any sooner
Personally, I am in for the season pass, even if I wasn't, I would come back for more only because I am such a TWD junkie. They will capitalize on that fact with a large majority of their customers, but once the season is done, what would have been a huge branding/impression opportunity and an explosion of fan base for this developer will be over-shadowed by the PR fiasco that has ensued.
I would love to see an honest percentage of peoples likely hood of buying TTG's in the future, without the immediate frustrating boiling over and after cooler heads prevail.

In my opinion, most of the new people on here are here just for the Walking Dead and wouldn't be very likely to buy any of the other games on here regardless of their opinion of the company. Granted, now it's even less likely that'll happen.
Not necessarily true. The Xbox release of episode one came on a Friday, not the usual day for their XBLA releases.
Yeah that is because they didn't process a certification for it on time (no surprise there). The PC one game out the 24th of April according to my Steam version of the game. Not everything comes out on Tuesdays, but most things.
OK well they said this episode would be released late June. If we don't get the episode by the end of June I will find a way to turn people into walkers and force them to attack the TTG studio.
I think it's because the psn and Xbox stores only update their stores on certain days, and this was the last day for June.
i think tomorrow is the last day for xbox, and they TTG dont release on weekends (normally), so unless psn and xbox have to wait 4 days+ after pc release, showing that they have given no information besides late june as a release date you can fathom that there will be no release in june.
((1 day left for an xbox release
perhaps only a few hours for psn
pc has 3 days ish but if the pc release comes prior to console release you canexpect quite alot of aggro about that as well, meaning the only logical course for a guess would be an announcement tomorrow or thursday that the release will be next mon/tue/wed.))
As covered in the 100+ pages of this thread already there are many thoughts why the delay is happening but none seem to hold any water, and without any official word from TTG EVERYTHING is speculation, no matter which trusted website you read it from.
TL DR: NOBODY knows the official release date and until someone with a red name surfaces these complaints are probably falling on deaf ears.
Can some Steam owners of the game tell me if by some miracle it happens to go live today if I have to keep relaunching Steam so it updates or do I just run the actual exe?
In my opinion Telltale have never had a good history when it comes to PR and what is happening now just reinforces that opinion a hundredfold. Probably because this is most likely the most popular franchise that they've ever worked on. Oh sure Back to the Future & Jurassic Park are quite popular but neither are they that current unlike the Walking Dead what with the comics & the TV show as well as other licences works. This surge of interest in the game might have taken them by surprise a little but you would hope that they'd at least be a bit prepared.
As far as I'm aware there are two people who connect the company to the customers, Alan Johnson the (supposed) PR/community manager guy and Mike the customer support tech/guy (and this area really isn't his bailiwick). So serious questions have to be asked of the PR side of the company as well as the management. But just remember that the developers, the actual people who make the games, are restricted in what they can discuss on a public forum and so don't blame them for being quiet when it's what they have been told to do.
In my opinion, most of the new people on here are here just for the Walking Dead and wouldn't be very likely to buy any of the other games on here regardless of their opinion of the company. Granted, now it's even less likely that'll happen.
What a shame, I would have bought Sam and Max, Monkey Island, and maybe BTTF, and JP. NOT now:mad: I'm sure some others have considered the same.
Talking to tenured members such as yourself, TTG has been good at comunicating in the past. This must be extra painful for you guys:(

I disagree. I came into this forum as a concerned customer and ended up buying 2 other TT Games. If it were not for this whole fiasco they would have had a lifetime customer.
Regarding the silence of TTG,either there is a big surprise coming(lol) or the reason for the delay would create an even more huge shitstorm, so they prefer to stay in silence.

I'd have to agree with that. I am a new TT customer and although I was excited at first, I wouldn't recommend them based on this past month. It would be extremely short sighted for them to take all the Season Pass $$ and appear to shut out all of their customers. Whether they realize it or not, the total lack of communication makes a statement.
I've remained patient and don't mind waiting when I know the date I'm waiting for, but this lack of communication is ridiculous. I'm locked in for the Season Pass but if I can find a way out of it, I will. If I decide later I want to buy Ep2 and beyond so be it, but I want the freedom to choose not to as well.
I too was considering picking up BTTF since I loved the movies and enjoyed TWD ep 1 As developers there games are pretty fun and original, but they really need better PR. Its not hard to pick a date and stick with it! Yes, games get delayed all the time especially the blockbusters, but I bet if you were to do a little research 90% of games come out on the days they originally announce.

Yes. I did expect more. But like I said in my previous post this has been an area in which Telltale have needed to improve upon for a while now and the surge of popularity that the Walking Dead has brought has really exposed the lack of a decent PR team.

But, answering your question, a Moderator(Mod) can ban people.
Not saying you're wrong, just wondering.
Im driving myself nuts over this, when I know I shouldn't.

Game clearly isn't coming out this month.

I'm thinking 70% no 20% yes 10% undecided.
Any other guesses??
They don't make exceptions? Those certains days updates are for sure? How do we know?
I would want to remark that TTG have losing future costumers at a Guinness World Record rate.
Please, Telltale (Jake, Alan, whoever), tell us something to calm this all down.

I'm still waiting on the game we all fuc*ing payed for. WHEN will episode 2 be released???
It's a disgrace we have to wait this long with no information!
[EDIT]
This is even worse then all those crappy developers that give us buggy games! atleast we can play that!

I will never buy something from this company again..

i dont think that will help anything to be honest, i can see your angry, just like a lot of people, but there are other ways to go about this.
Being *snip* doesn't help anyone and is just more annoying than anything else.
