Right, cause that's gonna happen. BTW, I only mentioned my IQ because you called me a genius (for the sake of showing you that's incorrect). Best to battle Sarcasm with Calculable Facts... So make that what you will.
Well, we know your not a genius. And your IQ is just you claiming something like the anonymous troll that you are.
It's not just me though, I used to talk about it with kids in my class and some of my close friends and I look back on it... Maybe I'm just surrounded by exceptions. But I'd think kids aren't as innocent as you'd like to believe.
School yards are always some of the crueler and most drama filled environments. (Granted Elementary is no where near as bad as Middle School) I learned Fuck at the age of 5 on the school bus, from another kid, and it passed around all of school. Kids using racial slurs, talking about porn, etc. Maybe it's because I'm just about to turn 20, so I'm from one of the younger generations, but still. Kids do some wicked evil crap to each other, in and out of school.
From that, to killing someone. Is a long way.
You know what. Many adults dont understand the consequences of their actions either.
When Shawn put Duck up there on the tractor. Do you think he expected the tractor to roll over his leg? He should have, but did he?
The first thing i was thinking when i saw that was "Accident about to happen".
Duck was on the tractor, and if you talk to him you notice him constantly messing with the controls. How exactly did Shane get his leg caught under the tractor? It clearly moved and pinned him, unless you're suggesting he willingly pinned himself for fun... Duck was on the tractor, messing with it, Shane gets pinned, he is at fault. His age doesn't change that.
Lee - Killed a scumbag senator who slept with his wife
Duck - Killed an innocent farm worker
If only Larry knew, he'd
die
all over again with hate and disbeleif. Me and my friend were laughing our heads off when Duck derped out when we offered him food
We're saying that you guys can have civilized debates without sinking to insulting each other. And if you can't manage to do that, we're going to have problems.
Lars80, please keep telling us how your opinion is the only correct one here. I would love to hear more.
I will agree with the rest the Duck is way to dumb for his age. Clementine shouldn't be older than him and she clearly understands the situation they are in and the consequences of people's actions. If she doesn't, she asks Lee.
What is scary actually is that Duck doesn't seem to really care about Shawn's death and his involvement in it. He keeps being stupid and annoying, cries out loud for food when apparently there isn't any and as a whole doesn't really understand what's happening around him. If Clem was responsible for Shawn's death, I'm sure that she would've been really depressed about it. Duck, however, doesn't seem affected at all.
Another thing that I find odd is that neither Kenny, nor Katjaa actually go checking on him in Hershel's farm. I mean, they know he is retarded, you don't just let a retarded kid play with tractors. Katjaa, however, prefers to sit and talk with Clem, doing nothing. Absolutely useless, as usual.
They've proven themselves to be liability to my group. Even Katjaa's veterinarian knowledge doesn't justify her and Kenny's lack of initiative.

Calling him retarded might be a bit harsh, and I don't think they expected him to actually start the tractor but on every other count, I agree with you. He is rather oblivious to basically everything ("What did I just eat?") but as of the Ep. 3 preview he is beginning to notice things...
Lars80, please keep telling us how your opinion is the only correct one here. I would love to hear more.
"Don't talk to it, Merry... don't encourage it!".
Sorry, channeling Peregrin Took there.
Please, please, please don't feed the troll. If he posts anything inflammatory (like the ones that the mods deleted), just report him and let the mods handle it. He was banned once for trolling, but apparently he hasn't learnt his lesson yet.
ANYWHOOOO... those were very valid points that were raised. I agree with all of them. Clem and Duck are night and day. I don't dislike Duck, but he and Kenny might caused problems for the group in the future. Kaatja I like. She's really patient with all the nonsense, so I hope she lives through the episodes.

This.
I'm an ex-troll myself, however, and if no-one fed me I would make up some excuse to continue - I didn't really bother to read much of what was said, so I'm just giving general anti-troll info...
I think Duck can be a bit thick, but I don't hate him for it. As I said earlier, he's slowly learning. And I agree about Katjaa
i might not like duck much, but only because he is a poorly written character, otherwise he acts like all boys of his age. mother is veterinarian, father is a commercial fisher, so he probably wasn't around all the time. so i don't expect sudden philosophical thinking from the boy. i guess you guys haven't seen really annoying kids! i have two sons (albeit much younger), but i tell you, some of the children i see in their kindergarten just drive me insane. duck is pretty 'regular' in that regard.
oh, and shawn putting a little boy on the operational tractor and then standing right in front of it? blame the kid all you want, but that was an accident waiting to happen anyway.
Lars80, please keep telling us how your opinion is the only correct one here. I would love to hear more.

How about Shawn? Why didnt he do something about Duck sitting on the tractor?
I would never stand in front of a tractor where a kid was playing.
Perhaps Shawn is the retard, because Duck was supposed to be the smartest of the 2.
Do you have much experience with 10 year old boys?
Find a 10 year old boy that isnt stupid and annoying, because i have never seen one.
Please, please, please don't feed the troll. If he posts anything inflammatory (like the ones that the mods deleted), just report him and let the mods handle it. He was banned once for trolling, but apparently he hasn't learnt his lesson yet.
Now that is quality trolling. This is the best bait ive seen in a looooong time.

I used to be a Troll too, and it's kinda hard to counter-troll (methods and tactics used to drive a troll off of a forum) on these forums.
I was trying to, but I got a Mod Warning for it, so... *Sigh* I'll stop now. XD
I blame god for telling Herschel to have Shawn put on the tractor when he was a kid.
I blame Society for coming up with the concept of God as to impose their own morality up on others which lead to Herschel to believe he heard god tell him to have Shawn put on the tractor when he was a kid.
I think Duck can be a bit thick, but I don't hate him for it. As I said earlier, he's slowly learning. And I agree about Katjaa
Katjaa is sweet isn't she? I think in an ideal world, they'd be a great family. Loving mom, protective dad, cheerful kid. But being in the current world they are in now, I guess it brought out the worst in Kenny. Kaatja kept her poise, so I'm kinda imprressed by her.

No, I don't have much experience 10 year old boys. However, I remember when I was 10 years old. I was a very obedient kid and if something like that happened I'm sure I would've been traumatized.
Maybe you are correct, putting the blame entire on Duck isn't right. However, he needs to realize the consequences of his actions. He doesn't have the luxury to grow up slow and steady. He need to start behaving more like Clem and comic Carl. Else, he will die really soon and I'm not going to risk the lives of the entire group only to save him.
His parents, however, do not have ANY excuse for the incident. Kenny knows his son is a bit slow, why would he agree with Shawn's idea and let the kid on the tractor. I mean, Shawn's isn't supposed to know everything about a kid that he doesn't know. He's only trying to entertain Duck because his parents apparently fail at that, also. Don't blame Shawn - he's a good guy. Kenny however... grr we should move to our f*** Kenny thread.
It always comes to that :P

If the adults told Duck not to sit on the tractor, he did it anyways and ran Shawns leg over. Ok, put some blame on him. Spank his ass and tell him he has been a bad boy.
But they allow Duck to sit there, then an accident happen? Nope, not Ducks fault. I dont care what the rest of the forum say.
If the adults dont know better, how can you expect the 10 year old to?
And you guys seem to forget one thing. Duck did not kill Shawn, the zombies did.
Shawns injury would most likely not have been fatal. Allthough he might have lost that leg without surgery. Amazing isnt it that 3 zombies appear out of nowhere just as Duck run his leg over.
Shawn is a good guy, but his decision to let Duck sit on the tractor cost him his life.
Oh, seriously, don't be THAT guy. The "rest of the forum" hasn't got ONE opinion.
Oh, i am so dramatic!
I see people in here who want to throw Duck to the walkers, while they let the St.John brothers off the hook because "OH GOD CLEM IS WATCHING ME!"
I dont know how old you are, but i am guessing around 10?
And acting like you are all grown up.
Id take Duck over you in my group any day.
Who would want to be near a person who blame a kid for the death of an old man anyways? Disturbing.
It was sort of his fault though. (Even if it was a accident)
When confronting a walker you should always try to dispatch it, or get away, not aggravate it. Due to Carl's stupidity at throwing rocks at it (then falling near it) the walker got loose from the mud, while it normally may not have if it didn't sense a meal close by. Thanks to Carl not killing it after he essentially let it get free (he was armed) the Walker was allowed to roam, and in which case, ended up in Dale's death.
A accident? Yes; but if Carl were older or simply had more common sense then he wouldn't of been teasing the Walker like that, and Dale's death could have been spared. So in essence, yes, while it is a accident, Carl's actions did lead up to the death of Dale.

Kenny, obviously, 'cause I never hear Katjaa whining about me not helping Duck at Herchel's Farm...
Both were accidents - Lee said so in his conversation with Carley, and I believe him.
Or it might be Herschel senior's fault. Hahaha... but I'm gonna stick the blame on Kenny / Shawn - they should know better.
*thumbs-up*

Counter-trolling sounds too stressful. Wouldn't want to be stuck in that situation though. The mods handle things just fine.
Nah, it's fun when it works. Nothing like ruining the day of someone who set out to ruin other peoples days.

America has a history of trying children as adults. Especially when the crime results in death.

Katjaa had sex with Kenny ffs. How is that decent?
Why would a veterinarian marry a fisherman anyways?
This line of reasoning is silly
