Hilarious, but considering Jonathan Frakes is 6'4", that's probably the easiest way to sit in those chairs especially considering that the directors probably want him seated as quickly as possible. What's even more hilarious is that any time he goes up to one of the forward bridge consoles, he ALWAYS puts his leg up on the side of it, Capt. Morgan style.
