Just finished it. Absolutely loved it, it was one of my favourite episodes so far!

    Favourite things include
Superball as Bosco's father, Future Sam as Davros, the Bill & Ted style method of time-travel, "5318008", Max as a womaniser,
and so mcuh more. I might go through it again tomorrow. :D

I just finished the game and I must say you guys have really outdone yourselves! There are so many great moments it's hard to name them. Overall I like how a lot of the plot elements from the season (and even season one) are connected in this episode. I think the consistency in the plot is the major improvement this season; it makes the characters and events a lot more interesting.

Also, I'm glad I didn't read any reviews or anything else that might spoil the game, because there are plenty of surprises in this episode! Can't wait for the last installment, to see how it all ends.

    Max as a womaniser,
I just like the pose he does when he says "you" while the blaxpotation music slowly shifts over to 60's porno groove. :D

Damn, I'm going to have to play this again.

Did anybody else notice the throw back to "Sam & Max Hit the Road" with the "Guns, Liquor, and Baby Needs" store?

It's always been like that... hasn't it?

Best episode yet, I really enjoyed playing this one. Glad to see the Sam & Max kids make a return, they totally rock!

I swear this series just gets better and better. I would have never guessed that
    them were the freaken mariachis,
I am also starting to see the fear of boscos mom.

Yeah, unfortunately I did read a small article with major spoilers (on the website of the german Gamestar magazine, the article was taken down shortly after that on Emily's request. It Spoiled the
    Time Travel
    ,
the part where max causes Bosco to never be born
    and many of the
time periods, old stinky with the kids and the future office
. But they didn't tell about THEM) and I think i might have enjoyed it much more without it. Still a good episode, good puzzles, but for me its just second place this season, with 203 being number one.

Grandpa Stinky reminds me of Lucius Down (from the Bone comics and games)

now that i think of it he does look alot like him

While very short, I loved this episode. I hate that I have to wait a month for the last one. It was really clever, and I think it ranks near reality 2.0!

Although I'm a huge Doctor Who fan, this came to mind before the TARDIS:

Well the TARDIS isn't really a phone booth is it? It's a police box. Bill & Ted's wins that one.

The curious thing about all this... this Easter weekend I'm helping run a big themed camp/hike/activity which we've been planning for five months, and this year the theme is time-travel based! 204 couldn't have been released at a better time :)

Maybe Telltale do really have a time-travel elevator?

Same here. I half expected the TV coat hanger to appear so you could repair it with some gum.:p

Sure, but in a police box, it supposed to have a phone in it, didn't it ? :) But I don't remember to have seen one in the TARDIS...

I like Doctor Who but I have never heard before this thread about Bill&Ted'S excellent adventure... It's a good movie ?

    There is.
In an episode from the new series, the Doctor got a call on it.

    Blasphemy!

Actually it's TWO good movies... "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" and "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey". Ah, I wish Keanu Reeves would finally do a third one...

AAAAH! AAAAAH! AAAAAH! That cliffhanger was a doozy! I want the next one, right now!
My favourite things were the real Stinky and Momma Bosco. Any chance we'll see them again? Also, I really liked the puzzle to get rid of the comms officer, that was certainly a 'eureka!' moment for me (especially since I figured it out before the hint system kicked in).
And please, don't give Max that particular alternate personality again. He made me want to run screaming from the room - well, moreso than usual.

octochan - your post belongs in the 204 spoiler thread (there aren't supposed to be spoilers in this one). Could you put spoiler tags aroudn your entire last bit, please?

Looking back on Momma Bosco, I have to say your design and voice direction were pretty nice. I didn't appreciate what you guys did until about the 10th time around.
While you made Max all blaxpoitatious, you guys didn't bother doing that with Momma Bosco. She's dressed like Jackie O. with a fro and is more pro-femimine-movement than she is Black Panther, which is how most people would play the character. The voice actress also did a fine job of skirting the lines of sounding like a strong, respectible woman with just a hint of 1960s "black sass," again, without going into the more stereotyped funky-freak tone Max eventually did.

    Major kudos for that, TTG.

This was a really good episode. I like cliffhangers much more than completely independent episodes.

The biggest problems I have with is the animation. There just isn't enough animation for my taste, everything seems kind of static. The environments don't have that much life, and it makes the characters feel really stiff, too. That probably can't be helped, but I still wanted to bring it out.

Hey. Am I just late to the party, or am I the first person to notice that when Flint Paper explains why he's tracking Bosco, he mentions a "doll" "40 years ago" who Bosco had done wrong? Because unless I'm gravely mistaken, Flint Paper is actually tracking Bosco as a gift to the detective Bosco's mom ended up hiring to find out about Bosco's time travel escapade to the 1960s.
