Inferences can be made based off any quote and skewed through tenuous connections and have a completely different meaning...

I forgot what we were talking about...

Spy Fox 3. Even for a childrens game it was terrible, the originals were a tad challenging but this one, dear lord it was freakin easy! And I beat it in one day! When I was elleven! Do you know how dumb elleven year-olds are? PRETTY DUMB!

I can think of some people that would be very offended by that post.

Anyway, Rock 'n' Roll Adventures. The developer didn't even put any freaking effort into it, I mean the Wii controls are badly mapped, the graphics are terrible... no story... at all.

As far as I can remember... the worst was this one :

Yuck! ... it hurts my eyes (and my brain too).

"better get the serious toothpaste" roll!and my worst game is avatar:the last airbender

    That was easy!

    Freddy Fish was freaking hard!

I try to avoid games that I think will be bad. But, I've been at this long enough and been burned enough to know how to do my homework before getting a game.

So, I don't have any horrible games to report. But I didn't want to be left out... so...

Anyone remember Glover for the N64? That was a great game. I rented that baby a ton. I hope the release it for the Virtual Console.

Wii wins again! *Rides into sunset, swinging the Wiimote above head*

Glover was indeed awesome, albeit frustrating.

    Also, another awesome Glover:

    Daikatana, definately.

Maybe I just like rooting for the underdog, but the first X-Files game, Silverload, and the official Fellowship of the Ring game were all ones I loved. I didn't need a walkthrough for any of them, either. It just took some exploration. Of course, I cut my teeth in the days when the only place to get hints were the game company's hint phone line. :)

I also loved Space Hulk, despite occasionally frustrating controls. And the up-close melee fights weren't nearly as hard as everyone says.

My vote for worst game goes to Hydlide on the NES. The fact that it was one of the first console rpgs is no excuse, either. Dragon Warrior was about the same time, and did a fantastic job.

yeah, but Just because it was hard to get 100% doesn't make it the worst game you have played, I'm betting that it's the best!

    Superman 64 and Big Rigs.

I don't quite remember the name, but my sister used to have some horrible Barbie game for the PlayStation (1). For some reason, she was in the jungle, but the only thing you had to do was cross the path at the right time. If you couldn't pass at just the right moment, an elephant would ram into you, causing unseen damage to Barbie and sending you back to the beginning of the level. I laughed the first time I watched it, but the humor gave way to terror after about 2 minutes.

    Probably Spore.

    Probably Spore.

what's so bad about spore? Or are you biased because of the DRM virus?
  • edited January 2009
Did anyone play "City of Lost Children"? That was just horrible. Lots of pixelhunting and not mush of a story line.

Shallow. I could make creatures and that's the only unique thing about it, I could make creatures with no change of gameplay. Its the same EA Expansion Crap. I just hope they don't mess up Half-Life now they have access to it...
  • edited January 2009
I have to admit that once you look beyond the creative aspect of creatures in spore the game was pretty terrible.
  • edited January 2009
I wouldn't say "terrible", but definitely mediocre. Once it sinks in that it's basically an insanely user-friendly skinning program with four tech demos wrapped around it, the fun just stops. Will Wright is capable of so much more, and after the massive hype, the end product feels like an expensive practical joke.

But the first playthrough is almost worth it.

I like the cell stage and creator modes. The rest is booooooooooooooooooriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing.
  • edited January 2009
ooooohhhh.the cell stage is my fav!at first the creature stage seemed okay but after i played the tribe stage ehhhhh i liost interest.and civil stage is great if you play it right.all i do to help is i put turrets anywhere i can any time

I absolutely hated Ghostbusters for the NES. I never understood the interface nor got past the first screen.

    Same here :(.
Brahm Stoker's Dracula for NES was pretty awful from what I can remember. Oh, and an X-men game for Gameboy Color whose name is escaping me.
  • edited January 2009
I don't know, I loved Spore. The only problem it had to me was that you couldn't stay in one stage and expand therein; you would come to a halt and then move on, which is un-Will-Wrightish.

I still think the game is massively addictive and underrated, though.

    I'm sorry but...kings quest sucked.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I can't go for five minutes without getting stuck somewhere for a week. So I go in circles trying to find the way out of a dungeon or something with all the time I can spend. SOOOOOOO annoying.
  • edited January 2009
    I didn't like Champions League 2002-2003 (?) for PC.

The game was okay, but it was one thing that annoyed me so much that I had no fun playing it.
Any keeper on any team does not have a clue how to get the ball.
If someone shoots from the other side of the field and it luckily goes in the direction of the goal, the keeper would walk away from it and try to grab it when it already had passed.

    EVERY - SINGLE - TIME.

You can get tired with Spore pretty easy, I played it for 3 hours straight and got up to space stage.

Anyway the worst game i've played Deus Ex Invisable War, probably the worst sequel of all time. It was like they made it to contradict the original.

    I can, but I didn't.

On the Nintendo 64, F-Zero X, I absolutley can't stand it, its boring and hard and bland, and I got it for free, I dont even think it was worth the two dollars worth of petrol to pick it up

Spyro Year of the Dragon Fly. WHY DID YOU DO THIS UNIVERSAL? Why couldn't you let Insomniac have it, I didn't want Ratchet & Clank I want Spyro! Also, any of those terrible remakes.
