Did not like it. I thought Beth was annoying, what with trying to get them both killed on multiple occasions. All for some fucking booze. Least favorite Episode of the second half of this Season for me. The only part I actually liked was them burning down the house.
For me new episodes seem to be no action just dialogue for hour and this screams what though happen AMC wanted to skim budget so now see no more kickass scenes mostly involving governor like we used to see now just see cheaply made episodes concentrating on emotional dialogue and learning new things about each other NO!!! i watch walking dead to see zombie apocalypse and gore now turned into a soap show really carl your moody today and hate your father i do not give two F****s. Really glen miss maggie i do not give three f****s. I really miss governor really made show pure action adrenaline whats its suppose to be. AMC are ruining TWD the last couple of episodes after epic governor conclusion really let me down.
I really like Beth. She's the character who feels like she's worthless and wants to die (and even attempted to do so), and watching her father die, and several other people she cared about and loved, while she survived, had to have been hard on her. She has massive survivors' guilt from being possibly the only other survivor when more capable people didn't make it. While she babysits and provides moral support and tries to keep people optimistic, she does not view these things as valuable contributions (and neither does Drunk Daryl, apparently) and hates that that's all she seems to be good for. This episode shot her up to my top favorite characters. She's very self aware and cynical about herself but refuses to die. (Pretty much me, essentially, so maybe that's also why)
And I love her singing. Emily Kinney's albums are rad.
I liked the episode personally, the only ones I've really hated involved the Governor because he was just ridiculous. We gained some insight into characters, yeah maybe it's late, but now we have it. Besides, the last few episodes have just been how everyone is surviving after the prison fell. I'm sure now when they eventually meet up with the rest of the group that Daryl will have put his past behind him and remain a valued member rather than a depressed one. The episode's end was a metaphor for them moving on. This also isn't the only episode where we've seen characters grow in some way. Few weeks ago we had Carl and Rick's relationship. We saw Michonne beat down her anger and sadness. Going fro a destroyed prison to giant walker battles and having a new antagonist in a few episodes would feel cheap to me, and more akin to a movie rather than a show classified as a drama.

It was not on my top three episodes for this season, not close. It wasn't that bad though, it was nice to see Daryl get some more character development and this was one of the first episodes I kept rewinding because I liked seeing Norman Reedus flip out. I also liked the few seconds for he starts crying where his voice is just slowly getting higher.
This was definitely a filler episode though, and I don't mind all that much. For a filler episode it was pretty good. Definitely wasn't as bad as any of the season 2 episodes.
Yes i know, all i'm saying is that they were not in the episode "after" because the whole episode only involved Rick(Barely), Carl and Michonne. Abraham an co. arrived at the end of "Inmates" and continued to be in later episodes.
Well i liked it guys. Not the best ep in the world but it wasn't that bad in my opinion. I don't know what peor are expecting to see in wanting it it to be good
untrue i love character development as long mix of action i read amc was planning to cut the budget there is difference between character developement and trying to make cheap episode true fans would know this
Didn't the first ten minutes of this episode have almost entirely no dialogue?
Shows what kind of person you are when you bash a zombie show for trying to have character development so you care about the people in danger.
That isn't TWD. That isn't what it's about. You want zombies and gore without any character development, there are plenty of those. I'm glad this does something different

It took me so long to figure out what you meant by the episode "Still" was bad... I'm like, it's not going to change? Then I realized I'm at idiot.
Yeah, I thought it was terrible... Honestly I haven't been liking the second half of season four... The other episodes where that terrible, but I don't like following around the different groups, and if The Governor's side-step was only two episodes, this shouldn't be that much longer...
I don't think you understand hard for people there's difference between doing episodes with character development and making cheap episodes i love character development when done right like previous episodes or telltale walking dead but purposely making poor character development for cheap episode is inexcusable and anyone who knows a good story could spot it straight away these episodes were fillers and boring i'm not saying just for gore but AMC are purposely making less of it to have cheap episodes stated it before so it's sign

I'm not surprised, this is about the reaction I expect from most fans who just want action. It goes to show most people don't really understand what this show is about. I personally really enjoyed the character study and getting to see Daryl not as SuperDaryl but the real man underneath. I also enjoyed seeing the somewhat rebellious side of Beth under her good girl exterior.
I thought the whole love triangle between Rick, Shane and Lori was getting old. I wonder if Shane would still be alive if he never loved Lori? I think he would, I would have loved to seen some interaction between Shane and The governor.
It's been shit since I was killed off!
But seriously after the days of Rick v Shane the show has been nowhere near as good and the last episode just proves it.
i watched the episode again and liked it more, the reason why i was hating so much was because i had a really shitty day on sunday and i was really looking forward to the new episode and just wasnt in the mood for an episode like "still" i wanted action and stuff just to make my day a little better, but i do like how daryl and beth are becoming friends now.
and btw i do understand what the show is about.

The only episodes I ever felt like were filler were the Chambler/Governor episodes. The ones where we get to watch him try to be a good guy? Yeah, those sucked. I guess they made his sudden but inevitable turn more surprising but I seriously gave no shits about his manpain. I hated the guy and I never wanted to see him again. Instead, we saw him a lot and then he screwed everything up.

Ya I think beth may die this season because she just had a good character development and usually when that happens to a character they die soon, although I don't think she'll be the major character death.
Well clearly it was filler and not going to get anywhere near a highlight real, but bits of it were entertaining. Drunk Daryl was pretty funny. It could have been a lot worse.
It's kinda amusing how A House Divided and that new AMC episode came out nearly at the same time, and in both of them two of the main characters were stuck in a place with a still at some point.
Nothing good about it. Next weeks episode looks like someone will die. Even if no one does that doesn't change the fact that it is guaranteed to have lots of action. This should make up for the boring episode we had.

Just saw it, I liked it, good charatcher development

Glad they got some character development and to me the episode wasn't just horrible but it definitely felt like a filler.
You guys need to appreciate the show more... So if you think the episode was bad then...
Maybe I got delusions of grandeur from its description, but I expected more... things to happen in this episode.
"I CAN'T HEAR YA' I'M TAKING A PISS!"
Ugh, TV Andrea was PAINFUL.
I wish we'd gotten comic book Andrea.
me while I was watching it

does the episode come out at 12?
i know man, whatd she drink? like couple of glasses? ha! a skinny white girl like her would get drunk on the first sip.

It was almost as bad as "Arrow On the Doorpost"
I liked it. It was just a character development episode. Not every ep has to be some crazy action episode.

And they were in the next episode too. Look it up.
Lol I thought they were gonna have sex or atleast make out haha

It wasn't bad. It wasn't good, but considering it was a Daryl/Beth episode, it could've been a hell of a lot worse.
I thought it was pretty good. Certainly wasn't one of the best episodes, but I liked it.
Basically, I'm enjoying these episodes because of character development (I didn't make this video, but it explains my thoughts well enough)

I actually think it was one of the best this season, but I generally like the episodes on the road like the ones at the moment way more.
It's been shit since I was killed off!

i hope the series will get rid of beth soon, i find her so anoying and useless. and hopefully tara will be a part of the group for a longer time.
