What has TWD taught you?
And no, I don't mean like: ''I've learned how to kill a zombie'', but what ''life'' or moral lessons has TWD (up to now) taught you and/or how has it affected you in real life (positively and/or negatively)?
For example: ''I now care more about my friends'' or something like that.
Yes, I know it's just a game, but it's a game that delivers some heavy emotional impact and I think it'll probably stick with all of us for quite some time.

It has taught me a bunch of things. One can be it's taught me how I will instinctively react to difficult situations that are thrown at me.
Don't make friends, because they are more than likely to die horrible deaths while you watch.
It has taught me to be more compassionate towards other people for some reason.
To keep my hair short...and it taught me the dangers of zombie herpes.
It taught me how to be a parent.
It taught me that stealing somebody's supplies can bite you in the ass later.
It also taught me that writing the same joke twice is not nice, but I'm unoriginal, sorry.
It hasn't taught me patience, that's for fuckin' sure.
I learned that I'm a fairly pragmatic person, but that I'm not uncaring.
TTG has taught me that I need to work on my patience.
I've learned that a zombie world is way more interesting that the real one.
It taught me where the damn river is.
It taught me that when the apocalipse arrives, people start to act like they never did before.

I taught me to not be fearless, it taught me to appreciate the little things in live and most importantly, it taught me how to survive!

Well it has taught me many things. I'll post whatever comes to mind right now.
It's taught me to never give up. To persevere and hope. When all is lost keep going and you can make it. Sure the world will be full of more crap then there was before but like Brenda says. "It's brought out the worst in everybody. But its those small moments when you glimpse humanity." Or something like that. It has taught me that sometimes you have to achieve things you don't like. To forgive others. And lastly to cherish every moment you live because life is a blessing.
It has taught me that honesty is always the right choice.
It taught me survival skills, how to be a parent, and to not fear. I mean, seriously, Lee was a convicted killer and he turns out to be a better parent than you and me...
NEVER take risks. We "risked" going to the St. John dairy, most people "risked" taking the stranger's food, most people "risked" keeping Ben alive and most people "risked" Lee bleeding out due to amputation. Gotta play it safe if you want to survive.
It taught me how important is a life of a person, and in seconds, all this can end. So go ahead and live life

It taught me that impersonating Carlos's foxy accent can be the most hilarious and beautiful thing ever.
I'm 29 years old, married, and as of two years ago the idea of kids made me laugh. It's kind of sad, but I'm actually slightly more tolerant of the idea now that I've played TWD. It's an awkward thing to explain. :S
Season one taught me that keeping your hope is what really matters. Season 2 taught me you can't always be "Nice Clementine" in life or people will take advantage of you.
Sidenote: I also learned to hold my breath before I shoot.

She's got a gun in my playthrough. Anyone with a gun can't be underestimated.
I learned that I would never survive a zombie apocalypse and some kid with short hair would probably kill me.
