  • There's a dude in the episode 2 preview trailer, but you only see the lower half of his body. He looks sorta well-dressed and stuff?

Can I ask on what man you're referring to?

  • Make this happen NOW!

Someone is gonna get Kenny with those boats. Imagine Monroe entirely with Kenny's. All of them Kenny.

  • I don't actually think Greg was Sam's brother. Randall nor Norma recognize Greg, nor call him by his name. Thus it might be that Sam was in Norma's community until she meets Greg from another community. We have been told from the beginning that Sam is a liar. So what evidence do we have that she is Greg's older sister?

  • You can't extract the files yet until they update the program to include the Michonne game. I have all the sounds/Voices though.

I actually think that Greg might've followed Sam to the ferry, as she seemed surprised when she encountered him in the room of the duffel ba

  • She talks about his past a bit when hes dying, she says something like "Remember what Alex would do?" or something like that.

  • Yeah it's something like '...you are Alex's hero'.
Which still doesn't show any evidence that Sam is really his sister. Obviously she might have met Alex in the other community.

  • How'd you get the sounds and voice

Telltale speech extractor. When you get it just go to "Open, Open File" and locate "WDM_pc_WalkingDeadM101_voice.ttarch2" I found some very interesting stuff, like "nv_randallforearmsmash" [nv_randallforearmsmash] ) "nv_Normapunch" "nv_RandallKnockedOut" and some other stuff.

Hope you find some cool stuff, I gotta head to bed soon so I won't be able to look in there for some juicy deets for a while. There are a shit load of hits sounds for everyone though I saw when I skimmed through it.

  • I was more interested in the music than I was voice files, to be quite honest. There's not that many new tracks in this episode, but the ones that are new are all fantastic. Jared always delivers.

Randall's got his own theme, and it's great (Telltale stop making me like this guy so much)

Yeah I noticed throughout the music was pretty much the same that I've heard before, with a few new tracks here and there. I haven't looked at the music yet so it will be cool to do that soon. Getting the music is a separate program all together though, I'm sure you know this tho.

I wouldn't read too much into the various leftover hit ("nv_") sounds. We'll often just record a blanket generic list of grunts to send to the SFX team in case they need it for whatever fight coverage the design team comes up with. There's some guesswork involved, and most of those files don't get used since we usually can get better, more specific hit/pain sounds later in the recording process.

  • Well for one they both look similar, seem to both be hispanic american. The the emotional bond etc.....I mean we don't really have any reason to think they arten't related other than the fact that Norma says Sam lies.

That they don't recognise Greg doesn't prove anything - it sounds like their famnily IS at another community - maybe Sam came to monroe just to get supplies.

  • I keep thinking she shares an actual model with Jane, though.

  • If you tell Pete to unlock the door while at the upper part of the ferry, he will pretend getting bitten.

    It's such a funny scene.

Yeah, I know, I'm actually pretty sure you told me this same thing with Game of Thrones, in which you were right. I'm not trying to get people to believe the wrong thing, I just think its really interesting files like this exist. I'm always down for some kind of content that's not in the game. So sorry if it seemed like I wanted to "spread the word" or something like that, and probably send out false information. Thanks for the amazing games by the way!

  • As @Flog61 said, both of them look alike and are Hispanic-American. Plus, when Sam and Michonne are being escorted to the stock room by Randall, Sam says "what? That's my brother!", so that pretty much confirms that they are siblings.

  • Why does Clem seem younger that her Season 2 self in the pic? Is it just me, or has it really been that long since Season 2?

  • It's not a detail, just a quick question I have, and I figured this would be the place to ask it. In my play through, I told Norra "We only just met" when she asked about Samantha and I got a notification saying (?) Your story sounds like bullshit. In other people's games, they've picked the same option and got (?) You told the truth, but it sounds... unlikely. What triggers this change?

  • I think the problem begins when someone doesn't replay S1.

    Demarcoa posted: »

No, you have to be very good with memory and such to remember that. I played S1E4 and I sure didn't notice it when I did the Michonne thing. Most people aren't going to remember that especially over the course of a few years.

  • So like every other female character since S1? Yeah, I think that's likely.

  • Kenny isn't in the files.

Someone is gonna get Kenny with those boats. Imagine Monroe entirely with Kenny's. All of them Kenny.

  • Huh. Weird. I picked exactly that and it said ''(?) You told the truth, but it sounds...unlikely.''

    Weird.

  • Does the scene where the monroe people are shooting at something happen in this Ep?italic text

  • Truth be told I don't think Nate was lying when he said he didn't know the old guy. Nate wearing a mask is just a no no..

Oh I never knew that first one! Cool. Here are some that you might not know. I believe there was a monkey wrench in the train stat

  • Maybe both Michonne and Sam will go AWOL on his face for the revenge they never got.

  • enter image description here

You're right, I noticed that too right off the bat.

For anyone who climbed the ladder, did anyone else think the body that was blocking the door looked a little like Uncle Pete from Season 2?

  • When Michonne and Pete leave the boat to explore the ferry, Oak will tell her not to let it turn into a rescue mission, in the sense that he doesn't want them to go looking around for Rashid and Vanessa nor Sam.

Later in the episode, Michonne can tell Norma that Pete and her picked up a shortwave signal from the Mobjack, and Norma will then order Zackary to tell Janey and her crew to navigate to the ferry and bring back the people who made the signal—and that indeed is a rescue mission, one which could cause "Janey and her crew" to stumble upon The Companion and bring Oak, Siddiq and Berto to Monroe.

I think the bullshit thing takes into account your earlier lies/truths in that conversation. Like summing it up.

Wait, I just looked into it more, I forgot there was one more thing I said to her beforehand that influenced it. I told her earlier I didn't take shit from her, that's when I got the notification of (?) You told the truth, but it sounds...unlikely. That's why, when I said I didn't know Sam, I got the bullshit notification.

  • Or the underwater walkers to Luke's.

  • Good point. Our boat is still stuck in place with the full crew, last we left em. Could've spotted them the first time around, but I guess Randall and co. we're more worried about Michonne and the kids.

When Michonne and Pete leave the boat to explore the ferry, Oak will tell her not to let it turn into a rescue mission, in the sense that he

  • Mmk here we go.

    • In the intro. Killing the bald zombie thrown into the fire does not require stepping on his head. Just wait it out with Michonne holding her foot in the air and he'll just die from his wounds.
    • Failing the QTE against the zombie in the blue cap/beanie in the intro fight will kill Michonne, but in her final moments her hand will rest near the stuffed dinosaur. It's a cinematic death.
    • The zombie you kick over the couch during the intro fight and start chopping it's head off can happen differently depending on what you choose to do. Do nothing - die. Slice one - die. Slice two - the zombie will just die and Michonne will let go of it and pant for a bit. Slice three - DECAPITATION! (Reminds me of Lee killing Clem's babysitter).
    • Turning off the radio when finding a signal from the Mobjack does not matter. You hear Sam give her message, mentioning the name of the Ferry. Not even Oak cares that you tried to switch the radio off.
    • If you decided to rewind chapters in the episode, you'll notice they do not have title names. They go by chapter numbers. Unlike what TT use to do in previous TWD seasons.
    • The people Pete are looking for (Vanessa and Rashid) are traders part of a boat community in the area the game takes place in. When Pete passes through, he deals with them. It's possible there is a deeper relationship, only time will tell. (This was explained once and it was very quick).
    • It seems Oak flips off Pete, when Pete gives him shit for not caring about the situation, but its actually the peace sign gesture. TT has done this before in TWAU during interactions with Mr. Toad.
    • When searching for supplies in the Mobjack, you come across a vending machine. Kick it 3 times to get a candy bar and prove Pete wrong.
    • Samantha holds a gun to the zombie that is attacking Greg at point blank range. But when Michonne's QTE begins, Sam is no where to be found during the fight. Michonne is the one who rescues Greg even though Sam was right there.
    • When bashing the zombie's head in with the cash register. You can just not do anything after the first smash and the game will hard cut back to the story as if you killed it. Even though it should be on the ground, alive lol.
    • The 3 toys Michonne's children play with are a toy robot - Robo. Stuffed Dinosaur - Chompy. Stuffed teddy bear - Mister Grumplfur.
    • When Greg dies and zombify. He can kill Sam and Michonne if taking too long to finish him off with a weapon.
