Not to offend anyone or anything, but I seriously can't be the only one who couldn't care less about Kingdom Hearts, can I?
Despite the warnings I got about it not being the best Kingdom Hearts to start with, I got myself the 3 hundred and something something / something else days. (Can't remember the title, can't be bothered to look it up). Well, I'm sick of it. A crazy amount of fighting and only extremely small snippets of storyline. At day 250ish I have decided I can't take it anymore and will trade it in for something else. I really doubt that I'll ever get another KH game. I guess you have to be a long term fan? I dunno. Either way, it's not for me.

To be fair 358 days isnt the best KH game period.
The other ones are a lot more story based, while this one was mainly for a multiplayer KH experience.
Plus this one is the only KH game to do missions, the other games are more free roam and finding secrets in a better way than 358's linearity crap.

From what I hear, you also don't want to start with Re:coded. In fact, you're best just staying away from the DS all together until you care enough about the series to get into the side stories. In fact, I'd recommend either sticking to release order (KH, CoM, KHII, Days, BbS, coded) or chronological order (BbS, KH, CoM, Days, KHII, coded). If you play in any other order, you probably won't give two shits about the series. Of course, you might play in those orders and still not give two shits about the series, and that's fine too.

Yeah I dont care too much for coded, BUT I WONT LET IT BEAT ME!
For the first time since 1998, I've picked up an NBA game that doesn't have "Jam" or "Street" in the title: NBA 2K11.
I've not paid attention to basketball since His Airness retired, but lately I've been feeling nostalgic for those days, so I grabbed it on a whim. After all, 2K11's big draw is the focus on MJ.
So far, I'm blown away at how much they captured the broadcast feel. Madden's attempt to do the same looks like a joke in comparison. The commentary is fluid to the point where I've done at least one double-take each game. They seem to have recorded lines for almost every situation. There's still a bit of the stilted "Jordan... ... ... with the rebound!", and if too much happens too quickly, they'll choke up and lag behind for awhile, but hey, video games.
The animation is extremely smooth outside of some twitchiness and clipping (and the faces are the stuff of nightmares), and the gameplay itself is challenging and satisfying.
Unfortunately, I have the PC version, and no dongle for my 360 controller. Which means keyboard controls. Simply put, they are a MESS. I remapped the hell out of them, and they're still horrid. Forget all of the advanced moves in the game; they just ain't happening with only two hands. The dunk challenge mode? Nigh impossible.
Extremely half-assed port for an amazing game. I actually want to get back into basketball after this.
Maybe you can answer the one question I still have. (999 SPOILERS)
How was Akane/June able to be there in the first place if she hadn't been saved yet?
Most people believe it's a stable time loop, everyone except Clover (who had no way of knowing) was pretty much lying to him about her being dead, otherwise he wouldn't be able to connect with Akane and then TIME PARADOX. There's nothing ever explicitly said though.
They're gonna post a Q&A with the writer soon, so maybe that and other stuff will get adressed there.
I think the in game levels where not as good as the first game...
I have to disagree. The Factory of a Better Tomorrow is one of the coolest things ever. The only world I didn't like was Avalonia.
We got the Collectors Edition.. so my boy now has a Sackboy of his own.. the bookends where disappointing.. its just cardboard.. but all the costumes are rad..
I thought the bookends were neat. Not great, but still nice to just have. The costumes are great too. Especially Gonzo and CLU.
I am still hoping that TTG, LUCASARTS, and Steve Purcell can make a deal with SONY so I can have some official Monkey Island and Sam & Max costumes in game.
Dear Telltale: When you read that post, a little light bulb should have appeared above your heads.
You know what.
TAKE THAT CODED!
No photo like Guru Guru though.
It is of a little sora jumping though.
And the final boss was cheap, not cheap as in so hard that it is stupid, but cheap as in money.
It was basicaly roxas from 358 days. THAT IS IT!
His moveset is the same with only one new move which I have seen in KH before(pillars of light) and he can perform his limit break too.
Likes:
Gameplay, always nice for a new KH.
The rail shooting. This could easily be a fun minigame
The platforming: easy but fun
Castle Oblivion: Being able to effect the outcome is fun, like creating destiny islands where they all get taken over by darkness and just ignore it.
More custcenes than 358: You know story something the last DS game lacked
Linking to Birth By Sleep at the end, Mickeys shock of what has happened to Ventus Aqua and Terra is great.
Replaying levels and bosses Replayability is always a good time
Dislikes
The RPG elements. Too cheap and terrible.
Too short for a KH game. 358 days was huge, same with Birth By Sleep.
Not that many Keyblades. One per world, not much and with the few worlds there is...
Felt like Chain of Memories all over again. We have replayed the setting of KH twice already.
Am now after the secret ending for recoded.
That and I found one of the games "cheats" that makes it so everyones health is one including yours.
Looks like fun.
Well, I just accomplished something very strange in Kingdom Hearts II. I was near the end of the first round of Space Paranoids and I walked into the second room of the I/O Tower. I didn't know what to do in there, so I saved and then tried accessing the terminal. The game crashed. So I loaded up my game and tried again. Another crash. After scratching my head over it for a while, I decided to leave the room and see if I had missed something earlier. When I left, a cutscene started, showing Sora and friends entering the room I had just tried to leave. Apparently this cutscene was supposed to trigger the first time I entered the room but didn't for some reason. After the cutscene was over, I was able to access the terminal (which I didn't need to do at the time anyway), and when I left the room again, the boss fight with the Hostile Program began. Never circumvented a cutscene before. I was worried I'd ruined my save file.
Currently playing Ghost Trick, it's very good, I do like the timing element of it, where if you miss what you need to do you have to restart the puzzle.
I completed Half Life: Opposing Force today. Turns out that is the one I had been remembering all this time. Strange since I didn't think I had even played it. I'm now onto Half Life: Blue Shift which I am certain I have never played before.
Still working on The Conduit for the wii, and am currently focusing my attention on Pokemon Soulsilver on the DS.
I finally, for the first time ever, got all the Monkey Island games in one place so I'm playing through the entire series from start to finish again. Currently I'm about three quarters through Monkey Island 2.
I got COD Black Ops for Xmas from my bro and sis, I'd never played any COD game before.
Single player was cool, but multi-player lagged so bad online and I had to lower my screen resolution which is ridiculous as I have a good internet connection, card, cpu etc.
Got so annoyed I swapped it for Medal of Honor 2010 which was worse.
I've been playing Darksiders, and so far I've got more nit-picks about it than things that really make it stand out. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, it's just polished in all the wrong places. The hodge-podge of elements from other games are all mashed together to make an HD Zelda-style action/adventure, and it mostly works. It's just shy of impressing me, but I am enjoying it's efforts.
Woo, Xigbar's down and I have Magnega, which means it's Pride Rock level trick time! I'm getting there.
Edit: It took about 37 hours to get the first 60 levels. It took about two and a half to get the last 38.
Level grinding's done, drive form and summon grinding is done. I'm going to move forward in the game now, and I'll stop to do the last of the grinding (synthesis item collection) when I have all 7 Orichalcum+. After that, it's journal completion (see: mini-games and coliseum matches), then Xemnas goes down and I get to (FINALLY) start Re:coded.
Here's hoping I only need a quick refresher on the route for poster duty...
My friend got me Fallout 3 as a late Christmas present and I'm having a lot of fun being a post-apocalyptic girl scout that kills things with a sledgehammer. I also started playing Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and it's even more demented than the first two. It's great!
I just picked up Magicka today, and it's a lot of fun. (I got it for $8 at Direct2Drive, they tweeted a 20%-off coupon code, and the game uses Steamworks, so it's now part of my Steam library.) If you haven't heard of this one, check out X plays Magicka to get an idea of why this game is awesome.
Resident Evil 1, as Chris. It's pretty hard...I'm out of ammo and keep expecting to find more but haven't yet. People talk about running from the zombies, but the halls are often so narrow. Might have to restart on easy mode.
I find it unfair when I have the golden armor at full health, and grab an assasin, stab her and flip her on the ground she lives, and she can slap me and I die instantly.

Actualy my friend is a HUGE fan of KH and this was his first game.

Yeah but didnt Brian Mighty Pirate(is he still here?) create Monkey Island themed costumes?
Still on Coded.
I actually made those... he used it as an AV
Bonus

4/5 good game.
Hmm... now that The Devil's Playhouse is on PSN maybe they have a better shot.

Online hackers really ruin the game for me.

I will beat those assasins.
