    W4 Sprinter - clear World 4 under 10 minutes
    W5 Sprinter - clear World 5 under 15 minutes

I am getting close to some, such as get all the prize blox, where there is only one in Olympus which I HATE THAT WORLD!
I like RPG's but this is very repatative.

Finished Re:Coded too last night. Well, that last boss was kinda anti-climatic. Gameplay-wise only though, it was ok instory. Dunno if I'll go for the secret ending, but I at least want to get all of the cards in Castle Oblivion so I didn't save after the credits.

Still going to try to unlock the secret ending, but I just watched it on Youtube (not like I haven't already read about what happens and seen it in Japanese before now) while I'm still fresh off the series. I'm not sure how accurate my time is, since the clock seemed to run while I was in Tag Mode.

Well, your stats look the same as mine when I finished yesterday...except that your playtime is 30 hours longer. That just can't be right. If you played the game at the same pace I did, then without counting tag mode it was really only like 13-15 hours.

On the trophys, yeah 20 of them is a little harsh considering how much backtracking you have to do(im looking at you olympus) but It will be worth it.
I am working on the quest trophy right now which is screwing up dearly because when I cast "Curaga" sora mistakes that for "stand still and die, losing all of your points". Interesting enough, he wasnt under attack, he quite literaly did nothing and waited to die.

    ...

Well then. I have a message for you, good sir:

HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR YOU AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT. HATE. HATE.

Oh! I love 'I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream.' Do you think we'll ever see a good adaptation of a Philip K Dick story as a game?

Also, I'm playing The Dark Eye. Has anyone else played it?

    The_Dark_Eye_Coverart.png

It's Edgar Allan Poe meets William S Burroughs meets claymation, people. There's nothing not to like!

That sounds about right. I left tag mode whenever I wasn't playing for about two days. Kind of bullshit that the game keeps counting time when it's basically in sleep mode. And I got all of the Castle Oblivion cards except for the extra card for Hollow Bastion. I'm not quite strong enough to beat down Pete in under 30 seconds with just attacks, and I can't get him to do the rolling ball attack so I can block it until after the 30 second mark. Besides, I'm sick of doing Maleficent's obstacle course over and over, so I figured I'd get Glide before trying any more.

Ha you cant use glide during the obstacle.

I should know, I had glide unlocked when I attempted that.

You sure you're not thinking of Air Slide? Every report I've heard has said that you're allowed to use Glide if you have it.
  • edited February 2011
It's not that hard honestly, I mean, I'm having to make a conscious effort to not do it too fast for that last card =/
  • edited February 2011
Yeah, it's not hard at all, but it gets repetitive and I'd just as soon not do it again if I can skip it.
  • edited February 2011
Agh, that's the third time I have to redo it because I did it too fast =/

I was halfway through 'Castlevania: Lords of Shadow' when my PS3 broke - I don't suppose anyone has any tips on getting the disc out? Only that I got the game from LoveFilm so I'm currently paying for nothing :/

Do you have a buzzsaw and a gallon of KY Jelly on hand?

My big games right now are Dead Space 2, COD:Black Ops, and DC Universe Online. I'm also playing Jurassic Park for the NES. lol Trying to beat it for my youtube channel.

Well I haven't been able to use glide, and I did unlock it.

And yeah Air Slide isnt allowed too.
    Or High Jump,
Or the game REALLY hates me.
  • edited February 2011
Yeah, the game REALLY hates you. I just tested it myself and Glide worked just fine. I reached Maleficent in 12 seconds. The only things disabled are commands and Air Slide.

Unfortunately, I needed Debug Device Y to unlock Glide, and between the two of those I knew how to get, it was easier to get the last card without Glide than it was to double all the Munny I've earned in the entire game.
  • edited February 2011
it was easier to get the last card without Glide

Which would've given you the debug you needed to get Glide saving you all that time doubling your munny =P
  • edited February 2011
I know, that's what I did. I still don't have the Munny to afford that debug device. I just blasted my way through the Maleficent part every time I failed to beat Pete fast enough.

HELL YES. This was my first adventure game ever, played it on my cousin's PC when I was 6 or so. The Fortunato portion of 'The Cask Of Amontillado' still unnerves the hell out of me.

Excellent! I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoys this obscure as hell game.

King's Quest IV as I finally finished III earlier today. Man that game can be a bitch at times.

It's up there with the I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream game on the 'Obscure games people really should have played' in my opinion. I can only think of a couple other games that had that kind of pervasively creepy and unsettling atmosphere.

A bit off topic, but while I've never played it; I adore the original story. Philip K Dick was a genius of pulp scifi.
  • edited February 2011
It's actually a Harlan Ellison short story, not a Phillip K. Dick one (The two have very similar styles though, I'm pretty sure you're not the first to get the two mixed up). He not only helped on the script for the game, but lent his voice to AM. His delivery of the 'HATE' Speech is a thing of hammy genius and greatly unsettling.

Lego Indiana Jones right now, and I was playing the Scott Pilgrim game until the end boss basically erected a great big brick wall and said 'You shall not pass!'. So screw that game.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. Both at the same time, in an effort to make the former look like the latter.

    Runaway: A Road Adventure

Yaaay! I just bought the third Runaway installment and it's next on my list to play, right after I finish Agatha Christie: Evil Under the Sun. I'll probably replay Runaway parts 1 and 2 before I start part 3.

That's right! This is not the first time this has happened. Once, at a convention; I was talking about 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep' and claimed that it was written by Dick. The inverse happened once while talking about 'A Boy and His Dog.' This is a fairly common occurrence.

"Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" was written by Dick, so you're wrong yet again.

"Do Androids..." is probably Dick's most popular book via Blade Runner :D

Frak! I even get them confused in recounting my stories! Ugh.... I need a drink.

I'd offer you a Fosters tinny but I drank my last one working on translations earlier today. Sorry.
