Good issue. It further explored the relationship between Mary and the "man in the mirror."
As for present day stuff, is it just me or did the tweedle brothers seem more chatty than they were in the game? Oh well, it's no big deal.
But I did dislike it how the art in one panel made Snow look fat/bloated in an unusual way, when Snow yells "Damnit Gren, I'm begging you, please don't make it worse!!"
I have nothing against fat people, but Snow in that scene just looked really weird (face, and whole body bloated like a balloon) lol....
In issue 22 he looked similar but in 23 he doesn't. I would say that Bloody Mary did get her like of Bigby because of the guy, but was fooled. And what he was saying doesn't match Bigby at all.
Haven't read the comic version (yet anyway), but is Lawrence present at Lily's funeral?
Maybe there will be plot holes that will be filled. Like these for examples. 1) How come Bufkin gets to stay in Fabletown despite not having any glamour? 2) What's with the blood on room 207's bed? 3) How did the ring of dispel lose its power?

Could be. Its obviously someone who is going to corrupt her completely. I dont know of any phantoms that live in a mirror. I cant wait to see the next issue.

I don't know about that. She seems to be fully aware of herself and what shes doing. I can see her kind of coming into her own after the abuse she takes from all these mean girls she calls her friends and just revels in the killing and chaos.
Not much plot movement but still very enjoyable. Im loving Bloody Mary's backstory. Shes really getting some good setup and i think her showdown with Biggs is going to be even more epic here. Speaking of which, the Tweedles are definitely on Bigby's hitlist, lol. My favorite thing from this issue is Bigby planting that paper deputies badge on Snow and them just smiling smugly at Bluebeard. Oh i loved it. Such a great comic this is turnig into.
Personally, I still prefer Snow's reaction to shirtless Bigby from the game than the variation from the comics, but it was alright. Bufkin's image of Crane in his drunk state (as a monkey) was pretty hillarious.
With flashbacks, it seems it won't be long now until Mary finally embraces the dark side (maybe she'll murder her friends?) - can't wait to see that happen.
Agreed. Bloody Mary's backstory will probably end when the game's 3rd episode ends. In some respect the comic is turning out better than the game. I find Snow and Bigby changing lines from the game to the comic this issue.

I chuckled at that scene where Bigby planting paper deputies badge on Snow.
With all that's happened and with Bigby so hellbent on getting the Tweedles, I somehow have a feeling he will kill Tweedle Dum at the end of Episode 3. He will most likely get scolded my Snow for that action, and eventually spare the Crooked Man and bring him to trial.

1) Is the comic version supposed to make us feel sorry for Mary? 2) The Tweedles' shotguns look smaller than in the game. 3) I wonder where Bluebeard is going to go.

Comments
Jack the Ripper is Jack Horner though.
He is? I don't remember that being revealed in Fables or Jack of Fables
It is heavily implied in Fables. He was a mundy serial killer at the time of Jack the Ripper. Coincidence?
... I need to read Fables again cuz I don't remember :P
I know Jack killed Mundies without remorse in the 1800's, but I don't remember THAT...

Do you know what issue thats in?
Sadly I can't remember the exact issue.
"man in the mirror."
Was she talking with the man in the mirror and asking him if he'll he change his ways?

pretty sure bufkin never leaves the office
I don't think he's allowed to, hence why he can stay there. Plus he is the ONLY Fable that knows where everything is in the Business Office :P
Don't you mean, only "Fable"?
Thank you...
My guess on who's in the mirror would be Jackyll/Hyde.
Someone should scan these o.o

Or take over her thoughts and actions, which considering it is Bloody Mary we're talking about makes just a bit more sense.
I do hope more people will support the comic to make sure it keeps getting made.

Just saw the 25th cover on Tumblr and I must say that it looks great! http://vexulumloup.tumblr.com/image/119215748987
That is pretty cool! Bloody Mary true form ftw!! XD
So any new details on bloody mary?
Someone who bought issues 22-24 put the origins on tumblr: http://blackbackedjackal.tumblr.com/tagged/bloody-mary
Thanks man! Very interesting stuff!
Dammit, who is this guy?
I got an idea...

Snow staring at shirtless bigby lol
Shirtless Bigby was a nice Bigby to look at in this section. o.o I wanted to put Sushi on his chest and eat it off for some reason....
Oh Lord... XP

Me, countless other fangirls and gays will not lie to this option. XD

Bufkin's monkeyvision was classic. I didnt know what the heck was happening at first and then I got it, lol
