1. COMMENTS
I think you should be able to easily search all your previous comments on your "Profile" tab and see, on that page, how many likes and dislikes that comment got without clicking on it to open it in a new tab and see it in the forum. It's so tedious.
2. SETTINGS
You should be able to adjust your notifications so you can see only replies or something, edit your page, etc.
3. DISCUSSION FOLLOWING FEATURE
On the subject of notifications when you unfollow discussions, previous notifications from that discussion should be deleted unless they are a reply to your comment.
4. AVATAR
Gravatar. Get rid of it. That's all I have to say. Why can't we simply upload a photo?
5. REPLYING
When replying to someone, it should say WHO you are replying to, like, "Bobby Joe, in reply to Dave Smith."
6. EMAIL NOTIFCATIONS
You should receive an email each time someone replies to your comments, up votes, down votes it, comments on your discussion, up votes or down votes that, etc.
That is all. Hoepfully someone sees this! This site in great as it is, but it really needs some improvements.
** excuse me if I made any mistakes and if some of these features actually do exist. I'm new here. Haha!

Thread: Earning badges idea [Moderators please read this]
i just wanna ask if you guys could add badges .. it would be cool like login badges... and stuff like that or like if you get 500 likes on your profile you get a badge and stuff or staff badges and stuff like that .. so can you guys add them ?
Mods are just volunteers. It's the web team that actually adds new features.
I think way back when this version of the site was in the works (before I was a mod), I heard talks of something like this, but it ultimately feel through I think.

Unfortunately, at the time likes aren't given for stuff like helping others or posting interesting theories, they're mainly given for posting huge gifs and for release date bitching. So, judging from my certainly limited view, if Telltale even gave out badges to encourage this kind of behavior, that would be a really, really bad idea.

It would be nice to have the option to click on my "Created Discussions" and view them all on a page. Sometimes I would like to go back on some of them for future reference. Right now ,the only way of checking your discussions are scrolling down through tons of comments which can take fucking forever.
Thread: Where do we direct constructive critisism for the forum and who are the powers above the mods?
Hey guys
I've thought of a couple of suggestions for the forums I think would be useful, and I was wondering where I should direct them? Furthermore, should one wish to complain about the actions of any moderator, who is actually in place to receive those calls of criticism?
In most companies you complain to a supervisor etc. but I can't think what that would be in this case. If we just email telltale they'll just ignore it most likely, I bet they get hundreds of fan emails a day, they probs don't have time to read them.
I'm not saying I want to do that, god knows the mods here are easily the best posters, but it's just useful information to know and should really be made available.
I don't want to complain about any specifically, more generally.
I suspect Telltale already knows they don't have enough mods, but I want to let them know that its a problem.
Also puzzlebox is female

Also, if you happen to have any feedback, you can contact me or one of the other Moderators via PM and we can forward it to the relevant people behind the scenes if it is something worth looking into. However, as most of you already know, Moderators here are just community volunteers so we don't have a terribly large amount of string pulling we can do in terms of how the website works. Telltale's web team is in charge of adding new features and updates here - we just stick around to enforce the rules and keep order.

It's not an official thread in any capacity, but this user created thread is where people go to suggest improvements.
Nah, I wouldn't be. I'm not on the forum enough currently and I get too involved with debates. I think I could put that aside but there are far better candidates than I.
Thanks for being uber cynical about my post for no reason though.
Well that's my point. In terms of big changes or complaints, wouldn't it make more sense for us to deal with the web team?
In any effective, pleasant community there has to be ways of expressing dissatisfaction at basically anything.
As it stands, Telltale seem to have put up a shield of non-employees so that they don't have to deal with these problems, when they really should. And they do, on other forums. And it works.
Especially if someone's complaint is about the conceptual job description of the current moderators itself. I mean, people would feel as uncomfortable about having to go through a mod about that as they would if they had to tell their teacher a complaint about that same teacher as opposed to a form tutor or headmaster/mistress.

MY GOD THAT IS IRONIC HAHA.
I agree on 1-4, don't care about 5 and would only agree on 6 if it would be possible to disable that feature. I seriously don't need more spam.

Moderators don't have the ability to do that I'm pretty sure.

I'm a moderator I wish.

Have a Game of Thrones Thread Section in between the Tales From The Borderlands and Tell Tale Talk Section.
Divide threads in each section up to 5 different groups:
Group 1: New Threads, recent threads created.
Group 2: Hot Topics, the most viewed threads.
Group 3: Archives, closed threads.
Group 4: Fan-Fiction/Fan-Art Threads, fan-fictions and fan-art threads.
Group 5: Other, every other thread.

I'm not sure I would call them "above Mods" but Telltale Staff would be the next thing or just other Mods...
But how on earth would I actually get in dialogical contact with them?
Maybe you could search for puzzlebox, and write him a Pm
Ps: which mods do You wanna complain about?
There is a Site Support forum under the Support tab. I would look there.
Try PMing another mod or puzzlebox or just any other Telltale Staff
Complaining isn't constructive criticism
