Ava was referring to Prescott.
Edit: She probably was referring to the Ranch after all, I thought you meant when Ava talks to Clementine in the flashback.
Just makes more sense to me than the Ranch. I think it was a callback to Prescott.
"There are good people there. I'm sure they will take care of you."
Prescott is outside the city.
Not really sure what you mean. Clementine's trailer was probably somewhere in the general vicinity of Richmond, and Ava pointed her to Prescott after Clem was kicked out.
Damn you, Randall....
On that note, I like how half of these are touched up walker models from Season 1 and how that little girl seems to have a slightly touched up version of Carley's hair.
Back in episode 3, when you're kicked out of Richmond, Ava also mentions that there's a settlement a few miles west of Richmond. Perhaps they were both referring to the same place?
This is about when Ava tells Javier that "there's a settlement a few miles west" of Richmond. Not about when Ava tells Clem about Prescott.

Same. Though I was definitely hoping Banner!Kate would come out to play in the second half of this installment after being sidelined by Badger at the end of Part 1.
Oh, I see now. It's just a misunderstanding.

Maybe that's just what she will look like in Episode 5 (if she survived the crash of course).
It's not like that characters never change their appearance in video games.
If you choose certain dialogue options in the episode 4 Ava flashback, you can slap her. You don't actually slap her across the face but you just slap her hand away but a womanly argument can be had before and after this XD.
I'm talking stuff like "get the hell out of here, bitch" and "I don't need your fucking pity or your shitty supplies". Clem has no chill.
EDIT: Okay, I just saw it for myself and yeah--Clementine was a touchy briar then. Honestly, I'd be a little surprised if Ava didn't just pull a Lee and ram her into the wall if she actually went for the face.

You can actually tell David that Kate's not into him anymore, and then tell her later on, if you agree to a relationship, that you "Already told him."
If you choose David's plan, you'll always get the option to hug him and if you don't, he'll offer a fist bump (which you can even refuse).
If you spare Badger (or let Conrad / Tripp kill him) but kill Max, Jesus won't say "Did that make you feel better?" Which also won't prompt Clementine defending you... but then Jesus also drops the whole, "I'm surpirsed you care, human life isn't exaclty high on your list of priorties." Even though he has no knowledge of what actually went down with Max, beyond the fact he's not there. By that logic, you could have said the same thing to him at first, since Lonnie wasn't there.
There's really no difference, as to whether at David's trial, Max, Lonnie, Lingard, and headless Badger are there, or just deceased, in-one-piece Badger. Which was really dissapointing. I at least expected one option as Javi to say, "Really? This is the best you can do? One dead crazy guy?" (Also I bet everyone in Richmond knew what kind of person Badger was anyway, he did kinda wear it on his sleeve, so not having an option to address the crowd was lame).
Wait... being able to slap her is determinant on your dialogue choices? Cool!
Too bad I didn't slap her; I had the option to, but I just chose the silent option and went all pouty.

Still, I'm not all that surprised.

I can't remember the dialogue options exactly but you have to choose all of the bad options such as: you stole mine! And I'll make it on me own. And instead of getting the option to tell Ava to leave you can slap her hand away. There is a video on YouTube called the walking dead a new frontier episode 4 evil choices. It is on there. So that must be how yo got the option to slap her. Any other choices will replace that option with the "tell her to leave" option.

In "Above The Law," Ava manages to convince David to let Clementine say goodbye to Alvie; the girl can instead opt to spit on him. In "Thicker Than Water," Clementine can attempt to guilt-trip Ava on taking away her only reason to live.

If you do both, this is what happens.
"Get the hell out of here, bitch."
Asking Gabe "What's your problem?" has him acknowledge that he knows he was out of line.
Doesn't really fix the headscratching story issue, but is neat regardless, I suppose.

Got bored so I started looking on ANF's IMDB page and found some stuff that I thought was pretty interesting:
Javi and David's VA's were both in Mafia III (voicing Danny Burke and protagonist Lincoln Clay respectively). Conrad's VA also did some background voices in the same game.
Conrad's VA was one of the guys being interviewed on TV at the end of The Avengers.
Max's VA also voiced Rufus.
Gabe's VA voiced Arlo, the talking green dinosaur + protagonist in Pixar's The Good Dinosaur.
Ava's VA also voiced the baseball kid at the start of EP4.

This one is kinda obvious if you've played all the seasons but depending on the ending you get in season two there can be some significant changes to Clem's dialogue and even appearance such as having Kenny's hat or Clem missing a finger.

A pity, poster Kate looked a lot better.
Pigtail Kate is prettier, but I will concur that I was hoping her return in Thicker than Water would herald that poster design meaning something.
How exactly do you know it's Prescott?
Prescott is outside the city.
As @ReTaLiN pointed out, she is wearing two necklaces in the poster.
And of course she wears her hair on a braid instead of tied.
I truly think she looks better in the game.

First picture: FLASH MOB, DANCE BREAK!
Maybe I just have bad taste in women, but I prefer in-game Kate

Maybe because of her hair.
It's purely because of her hair. Everything else (besides demeanor?) looks the same.
Maybe that's just what she will look like in Episode 5 (if she survived the crash of course).

That's your first mistake.
Well it seems like I'm the one with a bad gaste in women. whatever.

Oh, I see. In that case, I guess @Deltino is probably right. As always.
No, her face melts off.

Dr. Lingard told Javier that Joan had an idea of where they were and he told to the group about it before Tripp and Ava got captured.
How the heck did I miss that?

I know I would. Ava seemed very frustrated with clem in that scene

Right, I remember being quite mad at Ava after she stole AJ away, so I guess I just chose all those evil prompts.
....Muhahahahaha!!

this 4th wall breaking is never getting old
How can she make "adult" decisions? She's 13 for God's sake!
even tho she calls you a"kid" later on
I chose David's plan but didnt get the option to hug him since I chose to tell him about Kate. He punches a mirror.
"You can trust me again now"
Yeahhhh that's not how that works buddy.
"I don't need your fucking pity! Or your shitty supplies.Get the hell out of here, bitch!"
"--So I can use your shitty supplies!"
Why am I always laughing when Clem says "Shut the hell up, bitch!"
Did he say that? Cause I specifically recall him saying something to the effect of "I hope one day you'll be able to trust again."
I did that in my alternate playthrough, flashback starts around 14:30

Really now? Interesting trivia there.
Oh goody. What a fucking badge of honor that is.
I love the internet...

In New Frontier that is.
Man, hearing Clem curse so many times in a 4 minute video bought me an extra 2 years of life.
