I don't think I will be in some disappointment in episode 2. I think we will interact with her in these episodes and I think it starts in episode 2 first even if she deaf or not(she isn't deaf in my playthrough). Different perspectives can happen in this season.
She seems very suspicious of Bruce Wayne, we got that and she is seemingly admirative of Batman, right. So what ? Once she breaks out his biggest secret she will suddently develop romantic feelings for him ?
Uh yeah! She LOVES and admires Batman.i mean look at what happen when Vicki vale in Batman 1989(i'm pretty sure that's what gonna happen) she was doing the same thing.Investigating,Connecting the dots and started to question who Batman is. Iman is doing that even in the first episode. She was trying to understand who Bruce Wayne is. Like,Bruce once said "It all depends what mask you wear"?
I think feelings start to happen in this second episode and probably this rating of mild sex impact shows some maybe a kiss for saving her(depending how the conversation happens between Iman and Bruce).
Btw she may be a side character but, side characters have always had a romance with Batman like Batgirl in the comics. She was a side character and overtime she became a main character(I don't think Iman will be main character). It's kinda like that. If people what continue with Selina then that's there option, but Selina just used us and we were always a game in her plan. Also in the choice engine in this season we were given the option if you left things with Selina like if you became friends or enemies. I don't the option of romantic friends was on there.
You are setting yourself up for some massive disappointment if you think Iman-Bruce will be given any real traction. I'm puzzled by the ment… moreion of mild sex in the rating....It seems way too soon for anything that intimate.
Sure, a lot could happen during the course of episode 2 but even bearing this in mind I struggle to think that the timing is adequate. Realistically how many interactions can there possibly be between Bruce and Iman in episode 2 ? With Selina the build up was there, intrigued, perplexed, shocked, smitten. It made perfect sense he would be falling for her no matter how much he tried to resist. Selina's been featured extensively throughout the first three episodes.
I'm just not seeing anything close to that for Iman-Bruce....It's really nowhere that "intense".
We are probably going to run into Iman again, asking for her to forgive us for Blake's death and that's pretty much it. Maybe episode 2 will see her digging whatev… [view original content]
I think any flirting attempts would, get this, fall on...deaf ears....
Seriously though Batman should only flirt with villains and justice. It's only fair.
Hum unless I've missed something she is not shown to "love" Batman, I think you are reading waaay too much into her first encounter with Batman in the casino. I can tell you really want this to happen and I don't mean to rain on your parade but there is too little to suggest Iman's feelings are romantic in nature.
As for Selina well she does sort of confesses that she was not merely playing us for a fool in episode 5. She could very well have genuine feelings for her but her conflicted nature made so that she had to hide them.
She will likely be a romance option again.

Me too! While I like Catwoman and the romance they had last season... I just think he should pursue the healthier option, provided it is the healthier option and that there isn't some hidden awfulness to Avesta that we have yet to see.
Like Vicki Vale ? Telltale could do that again after all.
What irks me is that she seems attracted to ahem "colorful" characters. Hence why I suspected at first she would end up fitting the role of Harleen Quinzel.
I can't completely trust her due to that, she gives me weird vibes.
Still more trustworthy than Catwoman but that's not a very high bar.
I don't think so! She wouldn't betray Batman. The one she admires and she will not just become a romance option, but possible ally and Alfred said need more people to help us combat these villains this season.

I like Selina as a character, however I've never been able to get behind romancing her. I understand why it draws some people in. It's like fire - but that's a warmth that also consumes to thrive. Like most villains, people are treated as disposable props around her.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want the staff to let up for those pursuing that romance. The writing staff have been exquisite thus far, and I want those who have selected that romance to have the best time they can this season. For me personally though, I'm holding out hope it's not the only romance offered this season.
There's just so much I'd love to explore and discover in this rich universe that ties to the Agency and the Pact. I know I'll have the opportunity to explore more of the Pact through my good friend John Doe. What I'm not sure of with the Riddler's swift demise is whether or not most of the Agency's past and activities died with him. The hostage situation set up by the writers brought out a lot of possibilities for Agent Avesta. I can't help but be anxious to see what they do with them.

Same thing I want the relationship too between Avesta and Bruce. We will probably get it. BTW i think tension just makes the story more inte… moreresting (not romantic tension) but I think I'm right there with you on it. But,if that tension happens don't say I didn't want it.
Yup,her tragedy was horrible and difficult for her. But,I don't think that makes her into a villian.I just see her has a ally and a potential romance.I highly doubt that tragedy will motivate her into betraying Batman/Bruce.I just see has a ally and romance potential
Keep in mind that some villains actually like Batman and dont see themselves as villains.
And remember what Bruce said, tragedy is a powerful motivator. Avesta just experienced a huge tragedy.
I thought of the same with Selina and took a chance to get behind romancing her,but after she told us why she did it. I felt like I don't want to continue romancing her in this season. Possibilities with Agent Avesta in this season will be interesting and I love the thought of her to be a potential romance and a valuable ally. I think it's possible and I REALLY hope it happens and the writers should make it happen(plssssss)
BTW exploring the pact next episode will be interesting still and exciting and seeing Harley Quinn in the second episode and seeing a lot choice in this episode will also be interesting too.
Also @Poptarts are you looking forward to a potential romance with Iman Avesta? I say there should be and how it happens will very interesting and I think Iman experience of lost will either depress her or give her a reason to fight even more like Bruce Wayne who experienced lost and depression, but found to fight and go after criminals. I hope for that Iman will be similar to Bruce with lost and I think the option will be how Bruce talks to Iman about lose and trying to fight harder.I think that will happen.

Iman Avesta is the potential romance I'm hoping the writers might include. Being a TellTale Batman character, rather than one from the DC universe, I feel like it just gives the writers so much freedom and subverts expectations - because I have none that are previously established. During the episode, she didn't really even stand out as a possibility until the hostage situation. Her fanboy gushing over Batman a little bit when they first met was funny and I did think she might potentially be Harley undercover until I saw the Agency's image of Harley.
I don't even mind if in the end Iman ends up dying like Rachel Dawes if TellTale doesn't want to tie themselves down to having her for multiple seasons. ( If there is a DC character romance, I prefer Talia Al Ghul over CatWoman. The majority of her criminal acts have been committed at the behest of her father and motivated by loyalty to her father rather than personal gain. )

If i understand it correctly, Batman and Catwoman have a complicated off/on relationship. Wouldnt mind hooking up occasionally despite her being a villain, tbh.
She is not technically a villain. More like an anti-hero with an agenda of her own.
She will certainly team up with Harleen Quinzel, John Doe but only if there is something in it for her. I don't think she can possibly trust them.
If you played your cards right the only one she is close to trusting is Bruce.
I assume that if you fucked up episode 5 she will threaten to blow your cover and tell The Pact that you are secretly working for the Agency, speaking of parting ways on bad terms I can only wonder what situation the two of them will find themselves in to work together. I mean what reason has she to seek us out really ? What reason could we have to work with her at all either ?
Maybe The Pact will give us an assignment and we will have to work with Catwoman.

I didnt play my cards right. Like she said, i wasnt even trying to see things from her perspective. I was upset about Harvey and the fact that she left me to deal with it all alone.
Im honestly willing to go tit for tat if she takes that route. Selina Kyle is even more vulnerable than Bruce Wayne, less money and attention. But i'd rather just hook up. We shall see.
Edit: Also John already knows who Bruce is. Would be a moot point for this group.

I understand the resentment in regards to the way Selina just leaves the fuck out without care, as she is the one who played Harvey for a fool. I found it to be a low point for her.
I'm surprised there was not an option to make her realize that what happened to Harvey is our fault, ours. He saved her thereby leading to Harvey being scarred but she made him an emotional wreck, not us.

Hopefully the writers should include it and also I wouldn't want her to die like Rachel Dawes. I do prefer her over Selina anytime and i f next season Talia Al Ghul does show up. BTW I would hope that Iman Avesta will probably help Bruce even more, but I guess we have to wait see how much help she bring because I don't think Bruce will like helping Amanda Waller with some of choices she will have Bruce do to keep his secret safe

I also think that a romance between Batman and someone who isn't in the villain category is rare, and I'm a fan of when situations break with convention.

That's what I think too. Like,I think in episode 2 we will probably find out more about Iman Avesta and when episode 3 rolls around next time then I guess Selina will come in that episode and the MAJOR choice in episode 3 will probably come to save either Selina or Iman Avesta.
Damn, having to make that choice would suck. We have a history with Selina but Avesta is more likely to do good things and be a steady love interest.
I would probably have to choose Selina, for some damned reason. Who would you choose?

I still like Selina... even though she broke my heart at the end of the first season she's the one that got away for my Bruce!
