I seem to be suffering from a mild case of insomnia now.
I can't seem to get to sleep, mainly due to that online test.
It wouldn't be so bad if it were not for the need to get up in 2 1/2 hours and start getting ready for my commute to uni, (First lecture starts at 10, need to set off at seven. normally takes me 1 - 1 1/2 hrs for me to get ready.

I'll see if I can make myself a nice hot chocolate...

It started with one glass and some good conversation with the Belgian, and then there was more wine. I had every INTENTION of making dinner - it just didn't quite happen.

In my experience, Belgians always bring chocolate with them. Maybe to convince you to offer wine in return. Clearly I've been doing it wrong. Maybe next time.

So, uh, any programmers here that could potentially help me with a homework?

    Yes, there are programmers here.

No, we won't do your homework for you.

I'd help, but the only programming I know is dynamic programming, which is something entirely different in that it has to do with proteins. I also don't even understand that very well.

Nice to know they care about their public image. They seem so friendly and cuddly now I've seen their caltrops and their Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knives.

I have completed my initial listening of Nightwish's entire discography (bar 'DPP', which I had already heard), and it has not been a disappointment. What an excellent band. I cannot wait for the new album now; I'm eager for more!

At the airport. I'm stuck here until tomorrow at 1, which is when my new flight is. I wouldn't mind so much (about staying at the airport until then. Not being able to go to Cali today? I hate it I hate it I hate it), but that sucks for my cat. I'm not sure what to do -_-'

Every time I try to access Kotaku, I see the worst redesign in redesign history... :/ What were they thinking, and how long until they roll it back to something I can actually look at?

I thought so too, but i'm kind of used to it now. If you click the button next to "top story" you get a list view of the articles.

There are various ways around it (like ca.kotaku.com then delting the "#!" from the adress bar on articles) but it's here to stay.

I'm in that weird state where I know I should be working, but I'm just out of it enough to make it really hard to do so. I was kind of hoping that I'd have Latin and a Good chunk of the Old English poem 'The Battle of Maldon' all translated by now, but such is not my luck. Just once though I'd like to go into my weekend without a ton of homework hanging over my head.

I just bought a book to programming with Python, apparently it kicks ass
One day I dream of making witty, programmer related jokes

Note how it doesn't have a boring picture of an owl in black and white or something like most other programming books do! (not that it makes much difference)
