A new clue about Season 3?

Today Telltale posted that image on Twitter: http://twitpic.com/tz0al

I can see Max's ear at the bottom of it, so I guess it is linked with Season 3. Can anyone guess what could THAT THING be?

  • edited December 2009
It's really very strange and hard to describe.

It's a big pile of multicolored human lips with a cherry red nose.

    ...What?

Don't try to psychoanalyze me based on this.

Interesting! Concept art, maybe? Cover art? Who knows?

I think it's a bunch of dyed carrots with a Christmas ornament floating in front of them in a sea of pure consciousness.

I think max is carrying in the laundry...

What? Every else was saying goofy things, someon had to be the voice of reason! :D

For some reason I think is a neck or a chin. The two red ones looks like lips to me.

Someone tell me why everyone on there is saying it's from Maniac Mansion.

It's a giant spool of various colored tentacles!

It's a Christmas tree...FROM HELL!! Either that or its last years Christmas pudding. Now the real question is which one is more terrifying?

"a power mad gorrilla pitted against a canine detective and a bunny with psychic powers"
    i'm excited

I loved the way the narrator says the word "power" more like "paaa'", to sound epic.

For some reason the audio when displayed on Firefox doesn't play.

Firefox seems to not have enough paah. :p

You need Flash to be installed to have audio, maybe it’s that, or an adblock thingy.
Works ok on Firefox Mac, Safari Mac and Chrome Mac.

Anyway, I already love the giant Santa Cockroach who plays the piano. Yes, I admit, my favorite sequences in Season Two were « Did someone said Birthday ? » :D

I like that the cockroach is playing the piano with a hand and a foot. I think. It's hard to tell with cockroaches.

Because Max wouldn't play with anything unless it was pointy and dangerous.

QFT! Lol (though it seems to go for Sam too, considering the opening to several S1 epps where they're playing with their guns...

I thought he was saying "part" because of that, and listened to it like 3 or 4 times and couldn't make sense out of it.
Then I went on the forum and someone wrote it down. I went back and listened, I still can't hear the word as "power" :S

    Guys I just found something while replaying Culture Shock;
When you click on the Dumpster in the street Sam says:"I once hid in that dumpster to escape a rampaging gorilla!"and Max says:"I still don't know how she got out of the office.I was sure I locked the door"

Is that a reference to one of the comics? I haven't read all of them ...
Or it was an inspiration for the writers?
Maybe Season 3 is a Prequel to season 1 (that deals with hypnotising, or let's just say psychic-powers)?
it makes sense because it seems S3 has the same theme too ...
Or, it's just me making another crazy theory ... :D
