Did anyone really doubt that Sam & Max would take an overwhelming lead? As far as I'm concerned you're wasting 10 days :).
  • edited February 2010
"All of them" is a sensible vote, right?

    I hope so

I suppose Sam&Max for Mac will have extra-large credits, then. :D

Psh, we are far too lazy to actually update credits. Plus we would have to re-time those scenes and everything and that's a lot of work. Did I mention I'm lazy? Can I just tell you guys who worked on it and you just spread the word?
  • edited February 2010
Is there going to be a Mac disc? That might just sway a few votes

Ooooh, there's a CONTEST. See this is what happens when I work from home for the past week (pink eye is a cruel mistress).

So yeah, Joel just came by and said that only one voter will be randomly selected to be added to the credits. Because otherwise you would be watching the credits for 4 hours. Yes, we expect that many votes to come in.

And yes, we would actually do that!

Sam & Max fans are a powerful force! We didn't get 30,000 signatures for an online petition for nothing! :D

Will they be in ALL the Mac Release credits? If so, I WANT IN
  • edited February 2010
comeon guys, Sam and Max already works perfectly in Mac with barely any work in the part of the end user. SBCG4AP doesn;t work at all, you just get the splash

Strong Bad's catching up, thanks to some love from The Brothers Chaps on the homestarrunner.com homepage! Sam & Max fans had better not get too comfy with their lead!
  • edited February 2010
The raise of Strong Bad is quite incredible.
Come on, Sam&Max fans, let’s show them to respect their president. Stay frosty. Not quite.
  • edited February 2010
I vote for all three at the same time but episodes released in 2 hour exponential increments! Soon we'll be waiting for years! Hooray!

I mean, it isn't that difficult to do... ;)

Huh, maybe I should have read this whole thread before I voted. :( I don't have a mac but I was voting in what I thought was the best interest of mac users!

Also, make your own propaganda materials and make it into next week's blog, just in time to sway the last voters!

My vote is anything. I want to finish Sam and Max and W&G on my Mac, though. I've already finished Strongbad.
  • edited February 2010
My vote went to the crimefighting duo formerly residing on PC.
  • edited February 2010
Man, keep voting for Sam & Max!
Not that Strong Bad was a bad set of games.
I just prefer Sam & Max. Everyone vote for them! D:

TTG is starting to scare me now. Nobody could ever be this cool. I mean, not only have you already made Monkey Island compatible with Macs, but you're also allowing people who've bought the PC version to download the Mac counterpart for free? And there's MORE to come?! Stop it, TTG. I can't handle it. My mind will explode.

In response to the major coolness that's happening here, I'm voting for Stong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People. As should you all...

I wonder how many of these voters actually use macs

There should be some kind of process of collecting data to find out. If only we could measure how many people on these forums use a PC or a Mac, but I just can't think of any way we could gather those kind of statistics...

    [/sarcasm]

Dammit TellTale, you've caused a great conflict in my life now.

Do I go with Season 2 of Sam & Max on the Wii like I did Season One?

Do I rebuy Strong Bad on my Mac? Do I finish up Monkey Island on my Mac or do I keep buying the Wii episodes?

    ...rargh.

Although I'm not glad I'll be able to play Wallace & Gromit. I didn't get it on the 360 because playing such a game with a gamepad just didn't feel right.

Will the Mac version of everything be available on DVD, btw?

Just tried out Launch of the Screaming Narwhal, and it works great! Earl Boen's voice really improved the opening cut scene. The only other difference between the PC version and the Mac version that I noticed is that the click and drag mouse control is less sensitive. It might have to do with the mouse sensitivity settings in OS X as compared to my settings in Windows, but I'm not sure yet. It's not bad, I just noticed a difference.

    I'll 'fess up - I don't. :)

But you can't offer a potential credits mention and NOT expect every man and his PC-using dog to vote!

Thank you very much for this TTG!

This was something i was asking for quite some time ago, also here on the forum, and now it's coming, user friendly crossreleases where you're charged for buying a game as a person and not as a computer, a user related licence like many good Indie games are doing it or the better tools since quite some time.

Now if you also could increase the complexity of the games and most importantly get back to a more reasonable point&click steering method, i would be, adventure games related, very happy.

Oh and as for voting 1: StrongBad, 2: Sam&Max, 3 W&G. Sadly there won't be Bones for OSX as well, right?

That must be why Strong Bad is winning now ;)

Telltale, as a Macbook Pro user who's had to suffer running your excellent games in the overheating, fan whirring, battery waste that is XP under Boot Camp, I couldn't be happier that you're dropping your titles on the Mac.

And letting me just have the Mac version of the Monkey Island episode I already have for PC?

    I f***ing HEART you guys :)
  • edited February 2010
ZOMG, you guys got the Boen version already?

    *shakes fist* TELLLTALE!!!
  • edited February 2010
Uh... Guys... Strong Bad is winning...

    DO SOMETHING!

Unless someone of Aardman suddenly puts the link in their site.
  • edited February 2010
Aardman's website doesn't even seem to acknowledge the existence of their game, because I can't find it mentioned anywhere. Wallace and Gromit have their own separate website where there's a link under the games section, but I wonder why it isn't referred to on Aardman's website, nor considered front page material on Wallace and Gromit's own website? Maybe Aardman didn't like it?
  • edited February 2010
I think it's more that Aardman doesn't seem like the most ... 'net savvy company. A while back, around about the time the first episode came out, I think, they asked the members of their forums to come up with some questions for Telltale and then didn't post the answers for weeks. Actually, considering most of the questions were answered on the faq page up on Telltale's site I guess Aardman's fans aren't all that savvy themselves ...

At least they were great to work with, from what I read in interviews and such.

let strong bad win guys, if you have a mac and want to play sam and max I can run you through it in like two seconds

A 1% difference good gravy this is the closest thing I've ever seen. :0

It's time for everyones favorite show
    FIRST GRADE LOGIC!!!

If Sam and Max already works for Macs(not to be confused with Max:D)
and strong bad doesn't then why are you people voting for Sam and Max, and vote strong bad. Then you will be able to play sam and max, tales, and strong bad on mac, than sam and max and tales
  • edited February 2010
No. I can play both on my mac through a PC partition, but I don't want that.
    Stop voting strong bad.
