    Why do I think the extended week was because Sam & Max was behind Strong Bad?
    I kid, I kid... or do I?

    Well what do we have here...

    Sam & Max was always going to win.. It's a triumph of good over evil.. or in this case..funny over stupid ;)

    Ouch, that shot must've been 10 cents.
    Get it? Ha ha... ha...

    But wouldn't that make SB the winner?
    Again, I kid. But I didn't find much of S&M too hilarious...

    Of COURSE Sam & Max is going to win. I just bought Strong Bad in anticipation of its victory.
  • edited February 2010
    that figures.

    well at a mac forum I am a part of,there is a sticky of GET SAM AND MAX PORTED TO THE MAC. I now hope for a tie
  • edited February 2010
    Yay! I'm glad Sam and Max are winning! Nothing against SBCG4AP, but I've finished it and can run it well.
  • edited February 2010
    you know, I'm actually kind of ticked of the sam and max is winning. because I've been waiting to play SBCG4AP since I first got a demo of Baddest of the Bands and I swear to god it is the only Telltale game I can not get to work on my First gen intel macbook without Bootcamp
  • edited February 2010
    Boo. :(

    Guess I better start conspiring theories...
  • edited February 2010
    I refuse to accept Sam and Max as the winner until I see it's original, unaltered long form birth certificate!
  • edited February 2010
    So this is cool.
  • edited February 2010
    Yay for Sam & Max!
  • edited February 2010
    I'll be thrilled if Sam and Max pulls this off. I don't care if they double count all the votes for Sam and Max or count the votes of dead people who bought Sam and Max titles in the 90s.

    However, I did buy Strong Bad for 10 bucks, even though I think it's only a fraction as intelligent as Sam and Max.

    The older I get the stupider Strong Bad gets--but for 10 bucks I'm happy to support the property and Tell Tale.
  • edited February 2010
    I've already deleted my crossover installs of sam and max in anticipation. I give in, I still hope Strong Bad gets in soon
  • edited February 2010
    Ok, I agree 100% to what people are saying about a conspiracy and telltale creating the sam and max mac release first. I mean strong bad was winning and then telltale magically extends the deadline and BAM sam and max are winning, hmmm, I wonder why? Also telltale has yet to deny this theory.

    How can Telltale make a conspiracy against one of their own games?
  • edited February 2010
    Maybe, maybe not. One week is quite short to decide such a thing. For example, where I posted my advices about Sam&Max for Mac, I received answers (and voting confirmations by some interested friends) only during the second week. And if Telltale saw in the poll frequentation that the number of voting people were increasing, it would not have been wise to shut it when it has not already met its highest voting rate.

    Last thing, Strong Bad is the only serie to have an active website dedicated to it with such a daily traffic. W&G and S&M fanbases can’t have the same reaction level within the first days.

    All it takes is for the message to reach one new forum. Once the regular goers see it, bam.

    I'm either completely insane or the date has been extended again!

    noooooooo! There's no way Sam and Max wont win now. All of us who love H*R enough have votes and Walace and grommit will never catch up! just count the paper ballots and get on with it!

    The Timer just changed from DD:HH:MM (i guess) to HH:MM:SS.

    EDIT:
    Confirmed.
    if(daysL == '00')
         {
              daysL = hrsL;
              hrsL = minsL;
              minsL = secL;

    How can Telltale make a conspiracy against one of their own games?

    That's the genius of it, they have a plan to bring down homestarrunner/strong bad. They first called TBC to get the license to make a game of him, Then they made tales, followed by a mac release with Earl Boen(sorry if that is not the real spelling) and not a PC to drive us MAD followed by creating mac versions of all the other games, then allowed strong bad to win, but at the last second they add more time and let sam and max win, this alone takes down wallace and gromit as a side effect, but no then when sam and max wins, TBC will be mad and disown homestar and then telltale can make UNLIMITED homestar games however they want and at the price they want, they will make the toons advertise sam and max and the earl boen fans will be mad and become their slaves for an earl boen tales remake for PC, after which the homestar fans will be their slaves to watch non advertisement toons, and cheap sbcg4aps just like old times, and by then TELLTALE WILL RULE THE WORLD!!!!! It makes so much sense.

    Really? Personally I believe that polls bring people to the site and they wanted more people to see the Mac news. As people have said on here, it really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that S&M was going to win. Homestar Runner was ahead, but that's because all of their fans got the notice at once. The S&M crew is a much more widespread demographic and much harder to get to the same site in a week.

    No it is part of their plan to RULE THE WORLD! didnt you read my original post. Plus for the record Yes the S&M crew is widespread, but that doesnt mean telltale can make the polls go longer for sam and max to win, i mean come on.

    They didn't, they made the votes longer so they could get more input, I assume.
  • edited February 2010
    I find the irony in the situation that probably half the votes are from people who don't own a mac
  • edited February 2010
    Half? Probably far fewer.

    Did you not read MY post?! Polls bring the people that care about the source material to find out about the games. That poll makes Sam and Max fans who are Mac users want to be a part of it and check with the company for the results. More people entering the site means more sales. More sales means more games. Isn't that always a good thing?

    Sheeesh I cant joke around anymore, but seriously it is part of their plan for world domination, it is so obvious.
  • edited February 2010
    *sigh* everything is a world domination plot to you.
    Milk - WORLD DOMINATION!
    Sam and Max winning the poll - WORLD DOMINATION!
    that device that was made to dominate the world - WORLD DOMINATION!
    sheesh

    Well… at some point in S&M Season two, I thought Banang was part of a world domination plot.

    Any ETA ?

    Now, let’s badger Telltale for them to make an iPad port of their titles. :D
