If I ever have a female kid, I'm definitely calling her Pirette.

    ...

    Okay, that's a horrible idea.

    Just call her Elaine.

    Or The Swordmaster.

You can try Pierette, that's an actual name.

I agree though, the idea of you having kids (female or otherwise) is pretty horrible :p

Don't worry, I agree. Though you probably think so out of concern for the mental and emotional welfare of hypothetical children. =P

they just gaussian blur the collectors plate and call it good?

OK, I'm sure SOMEONE has already complained about this (didn't read through all 42 previous pages) ... but I just can't get over how TINY they made Guybrush's head compared to just about every other character! Take this last shot. His entire visible face is the size of the shopkeeper's nose! Heck, even the parrot's beak is about the size of Guybrush's head. There's just an incredibly wonky sense of proportion going on, which feels as awkward to me as the weird hair in SOMI:SE. At least there'll be an option to combine voices with the original graphics this time around ... if only they'd patch the first game like that!!

    Big nose strikes again.
  • edited April 2010
Well hey. The nose isn't red this time. Here's some nitpicking from me for once.

I don't like how big the storekeeper's head is compared to Guybrush's head. It's out of proportion. Bwahahhaha, have fun with that.

    *sigh* more complaining....

I think the idea is that Guybrush's coat is too big for him. Really, though, it looks like he's swimming in that thing.

My butt itches. My butt itches and I'm cold.
  • edited April 2010
I'm sorry. I'm completely out of rabid hybrid ferret-chickens to offer in gnawing your butt off.

But I do have this handy gasoline and a few matches...

You sure? It looks pretty red to me at the tip of it...

I think the headsize thing is not because Guybrush's head is too small, but because the other pirates' heads are too large.
  • edited April 2010
Have you noticed these last pictures are not washed out any more? It seems they have listened and kept the colors!

You're made up by your neighbor's chickens, or you're made up of your neighbor's chickens?

Somebody on Facebook mentioned that there's a bone behind the glass on the shelf in the classic version but on the SE remake they just made it a weird looking shelf.
