It was starting to feel annoying. anyways, I fixed it, but I got a screenie to remember it by. I can bring it back if I want, though.
I don't know exactly how it happened, but I created a screenshot from the game with mspaint and gave it a 372x502 size. After saving it, I moved the part of the image I wanted to the top left corner and dragged the canvas to the size I wanted and resized the image to 50x50 (at least I think that's how I did it.) It seemed to have t same effect on the forums whether I uploaded it directly or linked to it via imageshack.
I could tinker with it further and try to recreate it, but I think I've had enough fun for now.

Well, I think you have the best eye, is that good enough? (For lo, though we do not share our love of goggles for the same reason, still I do applaud your wearing of said accessory.) I obviously can't vote you for best male, though, since that's Dan Connors since he's the scariest person on the forum, being Eddie Riggs' evil doppelganger and liable to kill us all with face-melting solos if we do not pay him proper obeisance.
I also don't have to change my avatar to an eyeball since
A) McMan O'Man didn't include me on the "Best Girls Shortlist" :mad: and My profile picture has been my left eye since forever. That's right, I ain't buckin' the trend, I made it. Plus I have a scar in my eyebrow which just cannot be appreciate in a mere 50 pixels^.

The shrunken and cropped version doesn't scream "Nightmare Fuel!" quite as loudly, so I'll keep the avatar. For now.
Is it weird that the only thing that disturbs me about the Sam cyclops is his eyelashes?
They were added and styled that way for that express purpose, so no. Not at all. (Although it's also why I discarded my original intention of giving him a blue eye. Because, well ... yikes.)
And now that you mention it, that's probably why the avatar version is less creepy: the eyelashes all more-or-less blur together.
Wait, what? I thought just Telltales got special treatment. *goes and checks* Woah! I do get an extra big avatar! There's a plus side to this mod thing after all!
