Tom, I'll give you an Extraordinary Abundance of Tinge (white paint) or a Bitter Taste of Lime and Defeat (lime paint) for a Milkman?

    This I can take.

    This I cannot.

For future reference, I use this for reference (though not precisely.)

Well, I was going to just get the console version of new vegas, but for a tf2 item, and its on sale. I might get it today, or Ill wait to see if its a daily offer with these games and new vegas goes more onto sale later.

32 days left to Nan Desu Kan, so I figured I'd better quit putting this off.

Is that sapper made from a lunchbox?
  • edited August 2011
Yep. It has my disguise masks inside of it. I think I only posted pictures of my Spy costume props in one of the cosplay threads, so you may not have seen them.

And later on, I made Mildly Disturbing Halloween Masks for the Spy, Medic, Soldier, Sniper, and Scout.

You can now trade hats and items for games.

    Officialy anyway.

Yeah, this is odd. This also works for games to games as well, so extra copys of frozen synapse just got useful.

Speaking of TF2. There seems to be a high demand for Max's Severed head in the hatcononmy. I can only hope that Telltale would reference this in a future season of Sam & Max.
  • edited August 2011
Trade for games, huh? I wonder if I could flip my Sam and Max items for a Skyrim preorder. =P

Last I checked, the Max hat alone was worth like $130, but I may be remembering wrong and the value may have gone up up up.
  • edited August 2011
Oh, hey, that means he can trade his Sam & Max items for two Skyrim preorders so he can gift one to me so I can not play it! :D

holy crap $130 for a hat?

If you're not going to play it, then gift it to me! I'll spend upwards of hundred hours playing it, since that seems to be my average for completing RPG's. Except, for some reason, the Mass Effect games. But I also didn't 100% those, so it's all good.

I maintain that I'm going to play Morrowind at some point. I haven't even had it a week yet, and Dashing already has his doubts.
  • edited August 2011
Hey, you're the one who JUST SAID you wouldn't play a Skyrim pre-order, so don't put that on me.
  • edited August 2011
Yes, that was a joke. I was referring to how you said I would never play Morrowind or any of the others.

Holy Christ in Heaven Batman! I need to start playing Poker Night for more items now. By the way, was there ever a way if you pre-order Sam & Max The Devil's Playhouse from Telltale that you could redeem the pre-order bonus items that were offered on steam like they did with Poker Night?

    Yes, here.

Also the Poker Night items really aren't worth anything.
  • edited August 2011

YES! Thanks, man. Although now I need to get rid of some items to make room. :o (Yes, I'm a free member, sigh..)

Good to know, saved me a few hours of intense poker playing to get them.

I just did my trade. Dropped the whole set for Skyrim, From Dust, Limbo, the Broken Sword Trilogy pack, Cthulu Saves the World+Breath of Death VII, and Who's That Flying.

    you so got scammed.
A big kill, max's head, and a VINTAGE lugermorph, and you only got 7 games.
    For shame:p

    9, actually.
  • edited August 2011
    9, actually.

Didnt see the words "trilogy pack"

Still, there are people out there that would have payed much much more.

And that is why my faith in humanity is slowing decreasing.
  • edited August 2011
There WERE people who would have paid $150 or so, but that was six months ago. Since then, a major hoarder of the hats dumped a huge number of them back into the economy, which dropped their value considerably.

Also, I just wanted to be rid of them.

I had someone offer me a 3DS and a PS Vita for my Max hat and Vintage Luger Morph. They shat bircks when they found out I had the Big Kill too.

I worry about physical item for digital item trades. I had similar trade proposals, but actually going into what they were willing to do to prove their end ended up sounding pretty sketchy, so I denied them on the basis of wanting the trade to be simple to discern as actually going to pan out.

I agree. Unless I can have absolute proof of the trade, there's no way in hell I'd go for that. And my definition of "proof" is extremely stringent.

Not only this but I told 'em I'd never trade them.
