Some of you guys ought to learn how to resize images. It really can get annoying to have to horizontally scroll to see an entire image.

Be sure to tell Laserschwert. Does this really mean you've had this for more than two years??

Yup. Didn't have it in me to change it since he posted it up.

So that's what you're into these days, Fawffy? Huh.

    Among other things.

before you say how good it looks mind you this is with a fresh new windows install not too long ago. Also I change between 98 backgrounds every 15 minutes.
Also this is my new boot for my desktop. I dual boot with another Win7 32 bit (it's for class, but was my ex main OS) and I've a laptop aswell. Also this is my PS3 background picture.

I did want a Versus XIII or Tales of Xillia wallpaper, but I couldn't find any that looked good on my desktop. Still pretty happy with the Deus Ex wallpaper though.

You can tell if a person has good taste in desktop design by the amount of icons that are there. Good jorb, Rawr!
  • edited September 2011
Haha, thanks. Hate having icons cluttering up my desktop, ruins the wallpaper it does.

As such, my wallpaper is now this:

My icons are messy, and the image was originally much smaller, so it looks kind of crappy, and it's probably only temporary before I go back to the Incendiary Encouragement Lemon, but here's my current desktop. Ten internets to anyone other than Icedhope who can tell me why it's not a Smash Bros. screenshot.

Well the characters seem to be ignoring the plane of field there, otherwise I'm stumped bro.

    Hmm, yep. (1,920 x 1,080 image)

Yeah, getting them to line up right wasn't really working out like I wanted, but it's just a design concept anyway. But yes, there's the characters, the resolution, the stage has been flattened, and Shy Guys don't behave that way in-game.

It's my balcony decorating contest design for Nan Desu Kan next year. I crafted it from 14 screenshots, mainly this one:

Expect a card stock diorama of it to be posted in Whatever by the end of the night.

Yes. This is actually animated. No. No music is playing.

Edit: okay. This is my real desktop. Don't judge me! I just love GLaDOS.

If you are poor you shall complain about the size! This size is for the rich men.

You mean you have your resolution turned up to 1920x1080 (whoopty-fricken-doo) and are too damn lazy to bother to resize the image so that one might be able to see the image on screen all at once on this forum. Even you, yourself can't see the whole thing at once, since part of the width of your post is taken up by white space and your user info.

    Good for you.

It says nothing to your ability to purchase a monitor that supports said resolution and more that you're too lazy or stupid to take 5 seconds to resize it.

    Here, watch:

    hVmJB.png

All I did was download the image, resize the width to 700 in mspaint, save and upload to imgur. How hard is that?

Allllll right, what's the artist and what is his medium. Digital, acrylic, gouache?? The background and Superman's cape have a decidedly watercolory feel, but those lights on the right sure have a digital touch.

I'm not sure I like Batman in that image. He appears to be posing like a female lingerie model would (with shoulders back, hips forward, and legs posed in such a way that emphasizes a curvy physique) supplemented by a certain level of gloss on his body.

A man would normally position his shoulders to be in line with his knees, and though he might throw his shoulders back to emphasize his pectorals, he certainly wouldn't have his hips forward like that. Like Superman. Superman is posed like a man would normally be. Unfortunately, the lack of detail on his stomach is mismatched by the greater detail on his chest.

Also, Lex's legs are spread too far apart; it gives his appearance a somewhat triangular shape.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who thought of that. I just assumed it was Sexy!Batman or something, though.

Mine changes with every review (did you notice? No? Aww...), but the icons tend to stay the same.
    Here's my current one:

EDIT: I was just looking for a Batman logo wallpaper to use. I was elated, however, when I discovered (after already using it) that it's the logo for the Arkham Asylum games. :)

    also, there's this:

I've been fiddling around with photoshopping two different wallpapers together (the shield from one, the background from another)

I have various colorings of the shield saved, but I like these the most so far.

I like to play with my desktop. Hope you like it! :)

EDIT: I'm kinda new here, so if someone explains me how can I make pictures appear visible right on my posts (so people don't have to click on links to see them), I'd be more than thankful.

Type what you want, then click this thing insertimage.gif and paste your url(of your uploaded image). It's best to leave that one linked though, it's a bit too big. Resizing is your friend.
