Tope, I might be wrong, but from your last post it seems the problem is that everything is going well, but you're worried it won't always be that way.
Well, some things will go wrong, they always do to some extent, but I think you should enjoy the things that are going well, and it will help you deal with whatever doesn't :) There is no reason to worry if your only problem is that there is no problem.

Do you think two friends who aren't sleeping together can remain friends?

Do you think two friends who aren't sleeping together can remain friends?

Absolutely. A platonic relationship (friendship) between a male and female is certainly achievable. Well, at least it has been for me. But, speaking as only one individual (and a unique individual at that), I guess I can't represent everybody. But, in my experience, I've been able to maintain a number of platonic relationships with the opposite sex - one of them being particularly strong, to the point where I can talk to her about anything, and feel extremely comfortable around her in any situation, without ever feeling tempted to progress the relationship to any level beyond 'very good friends'.

Maybe it's because I have very specific preferences that most female friends don't fall under, maybe it's because the thoughts of 'anything more' don't cross my mind as much as they do in other males, or perhaps this is merely a feat that's possible for everybody, and maybe I've just been lucky enough to have had more of these types of relationships than other people. I don't really know, which is why I'd like to hear other peoples' responses.

Then put your chopped off hand in a jar and pretend it's The Tenth Doctor's hand. :D

Better to make a bad decision than no decision.
  • edited January 2013
Technically, if you make no decision for long enough, then that indecisiveness is itself a decision.

Also, there are some instances where I would disagree with a bad decision being better(eg. shooting up a school, having sex too early in a relationship, or marrying the wrong person.)

For some reason, I pictured Jay in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back saying this when I read this post.

Takes on a whole new meaning.

I'm pretty happy too guys! :D

I mean sure work has been shitty, depressingly so, but I seem to have made a friend on another forum.
This person just seems to get me. We have similar tastes, humour, and insecurities. It's almost scary! XO

It's been a long time since I've been this excited! It's the highlight of my day to check for messages now! :D
(Kinda hard though, since there's a massive timezone difference. -_-)

I honestly hope it keeps up. :)

You know, for all the things the Germans didn't do right during WWII, they did fight for a cause.

    The Holo-cause.

Wow, Bad Religion does it again. Delivering a masterpiece album in the form of "True North". After 34 years of making music, they keep on surprising me. Unbelievable.

Curse you Sonic Generations! I don't usually bother with finishing up all the mini-games after I've beaten a boss in a game, but I really like the Sonic series music and want to unlock it all.

Another quarter hour wasted trying to find ANY official information about the copy protection the new Tomb Raider part will use for PC.

Can't they just SAY "Steam required" so I can forget about this for two to six years?

Point and click adventure games don't take enough cues from Choose Your Own Adventure books. I'll be remedying that.

Well, I started dating someone at work (who I wasn't friends with prior) and everything is going really well. My only concern, I guess, is that things are going so well to the point that things seem to be moving kinda fast, but it feels right. So I don't know what to do? I don't want to get into a bad situation. How do I know if I'm making the right decision?

Is your gut instinct normally something you trust? If it's pretty good on a regular basis, then trust it now. Sometimes relationships go fast and it's not bad. Just scarier.

I tried checking it out, but I like buying physical CDs, and apparently, this one isn't being released in the U.S. until the 22nd. Guess I'll have to wait.

(Surprised they're still together. How old are they now?)

Looking for more series to watch, as I'm still out of a job, and there is a lot of time left after you're done handing out resumes. What would you guys suggest that would be easily available (for instance on hulu or netflix)?

I would have a preference for comedy right now, as I've been watching a bunch of serious shows. I'm still catching up on Star Trek, which I watch with Sean, so something that isn't sci-fi would be appreciated as well, for more variety.

Feel free to list a bunch of shows, since I might have seen some already, but if you do please add a quick description of what the show is about? Even just one sentence. It's just hard to pick from a long list of stuff you know nothing about.
