well they said what they were promising NA users when they were expecting it up a week ago...I don't see them changing it for a 1 week delay.

Yea supposedly this varied depending on what software version you were using, and/or other random factors. Mine worked at first as well and then stopped.

They did not get specific about games for NA.

No, they did not, but the post suggested that they didnt announce anything except identity theft when they did already announce 30days of free Plus and that other content would be provided free.

Not relating to the above, but here's another statement.

Now doesn't make us other folks feel great that our government thinks it's just "good enough". You'd think that at least the US would be as protective as Japan.

For the U.S., 2 of Infamous, Super Stardust HD, Little Big Planet, Wipeout HD + expansion, Dead Nation. Then 2 PSP games as well.

In Europe it's the same except Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty replaces Super Stardust HD. Sucks for me, since Quest for Booty was the one I really wanted. FUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Well, bleh. I bought LittleBigPlanet during the downtime and I ended up not even liking it. I don't know anything about those other games...

(Edit: After reading up on them a little I guess I'll get Infamous and Super Stardust.)

QfB is good...well good for those who don't mind basic weaponry.

...yeah, I don't even know if I want anything on that list.
  • edited May 2011
Well the only two I don't have on that list are Super Stardust and Dead Nation. Super Stardust is in 3D so that's nice.
  • edited May 2011
Infamous is an absolute must if you haven't played it.
  • edited May 2011
I'll be getting inFAMOUS, Super Stardust, LittleBigPlanet PSP, and Killzone Liberation. I'd meant to pick up all these games for a while now. Yay Sony! :D
  • edited May 2011
I really can't decide between Super Stardust and Wipeout. I really don't care for either, and I already have LBP2... so... yeah.

As for PSP, I own 2 so I'll get the other two. ANYONE WHO DOES NOT GET MODNATION RACERS IS INSANE BY THE WAY
  • edited May 2011
I'm getting inFAMOUS and Dead Nation, which I hear is basically a serious-toned and better quality version of I MAED A GAEM WITH ZOMBIES IN IT.
  • edited May 2011
Okay, forgot about my PSP. Ill get Modnation and probably Killzone for that. Well, I guess having a PSP is finally good for something. :p
  • edited May 2011
Well, considering I hardly ever used my PS3 online (online gaming isn't my thing), this is a great offer. If I hadn't already got it on disc (which I prefer, BTW) I'd have gotten R&C, so I'll be grabbing inFamous and LittleBigPlanet, since I haven't gotten round to buying them yet.

Incidentally, if you're ever in need of a smile, check the tags for whatever thread you happen to be reading. Someone's having great fun with them.

My brother and I have both been victims and it upsets me to say the least...

If that's about the PSN hack scandal, there is a thread about it.

There is still no definite evidence that the hackers can use the information they stole to the full extent, so I wouldn't worry too much.

I got your evidence....BOTH my brother and I have missing money off our cards...
  • edited May 2011
Inform the bank your cards have been compromised, they'll freeze your current cards, send you out new cards and reimburse you for the missing money free of charge
  • edited May 2011
Sony did offer free Identity Theft (Also Indentity Theft Protection), you know.
  • edited May 2011
Didn't mean to snap at anyone. I'm cool with all of you. You understand, I just don't want to be dealing with credit theft right now.

It's not because of the Sony thing.
  • edited May 2011
Actually, to be fair, it's not. I had taken 100 dollars out when I canceled my debit card, because I needed the money for gas, etc. Then when I got my new card and reviewed my spending I had thought it was a theft. I lost my first card, some place.

So the PSN store is kind of back...keeps erroring though and no free stuff yet. probably going to need to give it a day or 2.
  • edited June 2011
Last I checked I still couldn't get on PSN...
  • edited June 2011
PSN is back up and they're ironing out some of the kinks but everything is back up.
  • edited June 2011
The store will be updating tomorrow, so maybe the Welcome Back program will go live then.
  • edited June 2011
    Everything is live.

Now since this happened to me and seems to be common....

" If at any point you can't find the 'Welcome Back Free Game 1 or 2' products, the list of available titles or a game you've selected, go to your XMB>PlayStation Network>Account Management>Transaction Management>Services List>SCEA Promotions to complete the process."

When I clicked Game 1 it disappeared on me and I had to go through this.
  • edited June 2011
It's still not letting me log in...Am I just that unlucky with Ps3? MY luck never seemed that bad with PS3
  • edited June 2011
You can't log into the PSN at all? or the store wont open?

The PSN has been up for a good week now. It's just the store that recently started to work. If you can't log in at all....something is wrong. If it's just the store, I wouldn't be too worried. If it's the PSN, I'd go to the PSN site and try to log in there, troubleshoot, file a ticket or whatever they do.

Oh and their Welcome Back package is valid until July 3rd. ...So a side from it(waiting) sucking, there's no worry there.
  • edited June 2011
You do have to reset your password. That was mandatory after the hack even now that it's back up.

EDIT: Every time I try to click "Get now" on one of the Welcome Back items it displays error 80710D36. Actually, it seems to pop up randomly while simply exploring the PlayStation Store.

EDIT 2: Oh, that's just the system being overloaded. Keep trying if you're getting that error and you'll eventually get through.
  • edited June 2011
Thank you. I'll try again tomorrow. Thanks guys.

Loads of things I wanted on PS Plus before are gone now I have it free :(.
  • edited June 2011
I dont own a PS3, but I am enjoying my free Killzone and Modnation Racers on my PSP:D
  • edited June 2011
Got my free games. Well, got LittleBigPlanet. Still downloading inFamous. Big ol' game, that one.

Also, don't know if this applied for those in the US, but did anyone else notice they had some great stuff for PSPlus users? Pain and Burnout Paradise, completely free. I think it's Sony being really nice to all those who are enjoying their free month of Plus (and convincing people to get a full subscription so they can keep playing them, since the games are only free as long as you're a Plus subscriber - sneaky devils).

Yeah... I REALLY need a bigger PS3 instead of my silly 40gig why did they even make them that small?.... why the heck did I even buy one that small?

How much are you willing to spend?

The PS3 uses very standard laptop hard drives. You can just buy a new drive and replace it.

Same, I just see 4 free games that I'm not interested in...plus it says you'll lose the ability to play them when your PSNPlus expires. Screw it.
  • edited June 2011
Why and how is that any one could use more than 40 gig? Am I missing something? That's crazy...

    Also,PSN is a joke...

Either you're talking about 4 different free games on some PSNPlus exclusive, or the list of free games that you can chose 4 of as part of the Welcome Back thing. Of that latter, it never expires and you keep them forever.
