Spelunky is out now, and it's seriously one of my favorite games ever. I've put at least 100 hours into the freeware version, and I'm glad I'm finally able to play this HD-ified stuffed-with-new-content version of the game.
My clones say it's very, very good, and you should probably get it. Also, they say I should totally burn your houses down. Not... not sure I want to do that. I think the other mes are getting a bit restless. Hmm.
Oh! The quiet one at the back has just pointed out Gamefly's Weekend Deal, which is up to 75% off Squeenix titles. Not all are on Steam, but some are, hence me not telling him to shut up. The quiet one done good. Should probably listen to him a bit more.
The news section of Steam is really off its game lately, missing a good couple of days worth of Daily Deals (hence me having to use smaller images than usual). What's going on over there?

There seem to be new week long deals too but as you said: no news updates.

I've been playing The Bridge and I think it's good. It reminds me a lot about Braid and Closure in execution, but the main puzzle elements involve gravity. It's really cool visually and it's apparent that Escher has been an inspiration.
The Monaco sale has been price-matched on their Humble Store widget! If you want to give the devs a bigger cut, pay a lower price because Steam screws you on the currency conversion, or get a DRM-free copy, buy here instead!
By the way, it's a pretty awesome game, a weird mix between Pac-Man-esque score attack and every heist movie ever where things either go perfectly according to plan or go horrendously awful. Has a solid single-player campaign but definitely built with co-op in mind.
Also, GetGamesGo has a sale on Digital Devolver titles. Mostly Serious Sam, but there's a couple of other titles thrown in there as well, so maybe have a look and see if anything takes your fancy?
Also, Hate Plus is available for 10% off. As usual, the achievement puns are hysterical, but the game is probably going to be the second most depressing thing you've ever played.

Unless you don't read the text. But why spend the money then...
It's on my wish list. Analogue was the first ever visual novel I played and I loved it.

I'm up for some Wang action.
Why not go into a gay bar then?:D
My first association with that was Angel singing that 'everybody have wang chung tonight' song in one of the season 2 episodes.
Also, it's 10% off as a special launch deal.

Bear in mind this is an Early-Access title.
I hear it's a good 'un.

Midweek Madness:
By the way, it's a pretty awesome game, a weird mix between Pac-Man-esque score attack and every heist movie ever where things either go perfectly according to plan or go horrendously awful. Has a solid single-player campaign but definitely built with co-op in mind.

Yes, again.
If Kalypso published it, it's at least 50% off.
Oh! And there's actually a Weekend Deal as well:
Also, GetGamesGo has a sale on Digital Devolver titles. Mostly Serious Sam, but there's a couple of other titles thrown in there as well, so maybe have a look and see if anything takes your fancy?
Today's Two-Day Deal is... not up yet. Oh well.

Unless you don't read the text. But why spend the money then...
It's on my wish list. Analogue was the first ever visual novel I played and I loved it.
Today's Two-Day Deal is 75% off...
