    IT'S OVER.

    It's finally over.
  • edited July 2013
There's still the summer sale at GamersGate though. But yeah, it's more of a trickle in comparison to the veritable torrent of deals in the Steam sales.
  • edited July 2013
Today only, Retro City Rampage is 80% off($2.99) directly from the developer. You get a Humble Store DRM-free download and a Steam(or GOG, your choice) key.

So... are we trading cards or what?
  • edited July 2013
I don't have any reason to.
  • edited July 2013
Just wait a bit and sell them. the price is already going up now that no more of them will drop.
  • edited July 2013
But... I want the badge... :(

But... I want the badge... :(

    For what?
There is nothing to gain from it.
Also it has 5 levels. Do you have 5 full sets of these cards? And the Foil cards for the Foil version of it?

I got all five levels. It did not help my sense of self-actualization. :(

Maybe that's because I skipped the foil badge.

    That has to be it!

I have both Chivalry and Skyrim and I'll trade you if you're on Steam now. I got one level of the badge and it felt pretty underwhelming, so I'm not going to upgrade it.

I have no idea what your Steam name is, so shoot me a message over Steam and we'll sort it out. Thanks :)

    Sent you a friend request.
  • edited July 2013
Ah, no wonder I couldn't find you on my Friends list. :)

You have 3 guesses. And flesk likes bacon.

Found him. Yays! I always like having new friends. :D

EDIT: Weeklong Deals! Shame there's so few of them.

    Flatout series - 75% off
Nikopol: Secrets of the Immortals - 75% off
  • edited July 2013
Yeah, Steam friends is a really good way to find cool games to play.

I've said it before, but I really hate Nikopol. I'm glad I don't own it but only played a copy that I borrowed from a college.
  • edited July 2013
I played it JUST long enough to remember that I don't like First Person Adventure games.

Just calculated the damage the sale has done to my account and it's pretty bad. Went a bit crazy towards the end there.

    Here's the games I got:

    Costume Quest
    The Cave
    Antichamber
    Bully: Scholarship Edition
    Tomb Raider Collection [10 games]
    System Shock 2
    Dishonored [plus DLC]
    Max Payne 3
    Sleeping Dogs
    Scribblenauts Unlimited
    Tropico 4 Collector's Bundle
    Batman Arkham City GOTY
    Prison Architect standard
    Poker Night 2
    Bioshock Pack [2 games]
    Kerbal Space Program

All of which cost me £96.19. Ouch.

As for those cards, well that's just annoying. Despite all that I spent and all the times I voted I couldn't get a full collection just once. Missing Torchlight II card. Full card inventory list here (including the ones I'd put towards crafting the badge):

    Bioshock Infinite - 1
    Chivarly - 2
    Dead Island Riptide - 2
    Football Manager - 2
    Kerbal Space Program - 3
    Prison Architect - 4
    Reus - 3
    Skyrim - 4
    Tomb Raider - 3
    Torchlight II - 0

Not that the badge matters. Stinking badge...

I've got a spare of that too if you want.
  • edited July 2013
I got a spare Torchlight card, looking for Skyrim or Tomb Raider card :/
  • edited July 2013
I'd take either. Ryan I can give you the cards you need. My steam name is the same as here and everywhere.
  • edited July 2013
OK Sent ya a friend request :)
  • edited July 2013
Cheers Ryan. Got that badge crafted. Woo. Still have some cards left if anyone needs any.

    1 x Chivarly
    1 x Dead Island Riptide
    1 x Football Manager
    1 x Kerbal Space Program
    3 x Prison Architect
    2 x Reus
    2 x Skyrim
    1 x Tomb Raider

(or if I got another Bioshock Infinite and Torchlight II cards I could craft the next level of badge, not that I'm greedy like that!)
  • edited July 2013
I myself got 2x Bioshock Infinite, 2x Chivalry, 1x Prison Architect and 1x Reus. I'll be saving up money to get another badge in the set, and perhaps foil cards of some sets.

Anyone else get some coupons for Toki Tori 2?
  • edited July 2013
Yeah, I did. Not sure if it's from the humble weekly games that I forgot to activate before the launch or if it's something else.
  • edited July 2013
It's because you own several Two Tribes games.
  • edited July 2013
Raise your hand if you bought Ys on the last day because you missed the flash sale of it. You people probably shouldn't go look at Steam until Thursday night.
  • edited July 2013
    Damn... -_-

    Oh well! XD
  • edited July 2013
I havent. I bought them right now.
    (Ys 1+2)
  • edited July 2013
nope. I already have too many RPGs that I haven't played yet.

Just off the top of my head, there's Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Dragon Age Origins, KOTOR, Jade Empire, and Final Fantasy 6 (3 on SNES).

That doesn't include other RPGs that I've already been planning to get, like Tales of Symphonia 2 and Tales of Xillia.
  • edited July 2013
Ys is part of the midweek madness sales, but there's also another one:

    * 85% off Trine 2: Complete Story (Windows/Mac/Linux): 2,54€ / $2.99

    Plus the daily deal:

    * 50% off Kentucky Route Zero - Season Pass (Windows/Mac/Linux): 8,99€ / $12.49

which is the one game I really missed a sale for during the summer sales, so that's awesome!

well it didn't win it's community choice on the last day.
  • edited July 2013
Well, that was a pleasantly surprising e-mail reminder!

Has Kentucky Fried Whatever been that cheap before?
  • edited July 2013
The previous low was $18.74 on the 11th.
  • edited July 2013
Oh, you've checked the chart thing. Boriiiiing.
  • edited July 2013
I can't help but check it! It's embedded into the Steam store pages on my browser!
  • edited July 2013
Reviewed my Summer list, since I added Sanctum: Map Pack 2 (£0.86) at the last minute and forgot to post it.

    As a result, I spent exactly £63.
