Anyone else notice that the daily deals change every 24 hours and TWO minutes? Is it weird that I noticed that?

Man that Dawn Of War Franchise pack. I'd buy it but they will not sell the english version to me because I live in the wrong country.

It's a good deal considering the way the Humble THQ Bundle handled Dawn of War.

yep. Giving you one game you cannot buy on it's own normally because it only comes in a pack so you have to re-buy it if you want all the games.
    THQ are so charitable.

Repost that on the Santa page and you might get about Santa to notice. Maybe.

It's irritating how you don't get extra copies of games that you already own in a bundle like this. I'd love to be able to gift the original Dawn of War to someone, but alas... tis not to be.

Seriously, get on that, Steam. It's bloody annoying.

This sale is shining a bright light on how few good games were released this year.

    You are kidding. Right?
Blackwell Deception, Botanicula, Legend Of Grimrock, Torchlight II, X-Com, Yesterday, Hell Yeah!, FTL, Hotline Miami, They Bleed Pixels, Mark Of The Ninja and Dishonored.
All excellent, all released this year. And let's not forget that TTG put out one of the best interactive stories ever made this year.

Blackwell Deception doesn't belong in the list.

    It came out in 2011.

I'm serious, I just wasn't talking about indie releases like Blackwell, FTL, Botanicula, etc.

I might just be a curmudgeon, but the only 'mainstream' game released this year that held any interest to me was X-Com.

What else was there... Dishonoured? Assassin's Creed 3? Far Cry 3? Hitman: Absolution? Borderlands 2? Sleeping Dogs? Lego Lord of the Rings? Darksiders II? The Secret World? Prototype II? Spec Ops: The Line? Lego Batman 2? The Testament of Sherlock Holmes? Rayman Origins?

...none of those did anything for you? Not judging, just saying a fair few games came out that most consider 'good'.
  • edited December 2012
Dishonoured was alright, but too short. Thief--. The rest... nope, not really. I guess I'm a hipster now or something. :(

I spent 31 hours on my first playthrough of Dishonored and think they finally made a game that can replace Deus Ex as the best game ever made for me.
31 hours is not too short.

Meant to post this earlier, but I've been trying to find a Torrent program that doesn't crash my PC. Bleh.

    Flash Deals:

Dear Esth... wait. Those are the ones Johro posted. I REALLY suck.

Yeah, but they went and changed all the numbers on me. Good. All 33s and 50s, I was thinking that was a pretty crappy sale.
  • edited December 2012
Really? Huh. I thought I'd just posted the old deals instead of the new ones. I'm really not with it today!
  • edited December 2012

I was actually hoping for Deponia.

Well it's currently #2 on sales for today, so I guess not. Probably all people confused on how this won GOTY in so many different places.

Finally, I've been waiting for Binary Domain to drop to 75% off since day one.
  • edited December 2012
It's gone this cheap before, y'know. It went on sale fairly quickly - it hasn't been a massive seller for Sega.

Also, remember to get the Dan Marshall DLC.

Yeah, but even Portal and Skyrim end up on the top 10 every time they're on sale.

  • edited December 2012
Ahh Company of Heroes. Now you can get it for somewhat cheap if you didn't get it for super cheap during the THQ Bundle. Why would they do that? It's a deal spot taken away from... ahh geez, what I'm I looking for this time... ummm... 75% off Space Marine.
