Still no Spec Ops, still no Dark Souls, still no Lord of the Rings. If tomorrow is a bunch of encore sales, I'm going to be maaaaaaaad.

I cannot purchase Sonic Generations anyway, as I already have spent the money on Quantum Conundrum.

  • edited November 2012

Awesome. If it doesn't go on sale today then, I may have to look into this.

Sorry. Forgot to mention the code to knock $1.50 off. Add 'NOV20OFF' in the gift code section.

If I had any interest in it I'd grab it at that price.

Edt: Okay. Tried it and they only take credit cards. No can do.

I doubt it's going to be much cheaper on Steam.

Except for Vice City, because the people who own Michael Jackson's music threw a hissy fit over licensing.

I know at least 3 people here that would.
  • edited November 2012
Do we escape the pain if we already own it?

Also, FYI: the only Red Faction game really worth getting is Guerilla. The other's aren't very good. Which isn't to say that Guerilla is a masterpiece, but at least it's half decent.

Does anyone else have 28 hours remaining on today's daily deals? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense for a sale that ends in like... 4 hours.
  • edited November 2012
Yep. I guess they'll at least keep these deals for 24 more hours. The other deals should be over though.
  • edited November 2012
Sinnce the start, they've been keeping each Daily Deal set up for 48 hours. Previous day's deals stay up in that section for an extra day.

Oh hey, the first five Tomb Raider games are on Steam now. And they're stupidly expensive. Like, what you pay on GOG.com for a pack of three, you pay for ONE here. Just useless.
  • edited November 2012
I'd rather pay thrice the price than buy those on COCK.
  • edited November 2012
on "cock"? Is that supposed to sound similar to "gog", or do you hate Steam so much that you decided to call it cock?
  • edited November 2012
Other way around. He hates GOG.
  • edited November 2012
    because...?
  • edited November 2012
Terrible marketing tactics in the past.

Why buy those though, when you can get these!

  • edited November 2012
    Or this!

It's another bundle from GetGames, this time featuring games published by Sega.

Pick any two for £10 (or equivalent) or get all of them for £20 (or equivalent). All are on Steam, hence posting here.

The games: Alien vs. Predator (2010), Binary Domain, Jet Set Radio, Renegade Ops, Sonic Generations and Total War: Shogun 2.

That's a pretty good deal if you don't already own them.
  • edited November 2012
Does each game come with an individual code?
  • edited November 2012
I'd guess they do, otherwise how would it work behind the scenes with all the different combinations?

Still. This deal was so bad I didn't even bother.
This was in a bundle already...
