I was thinking more of something like “Heavy Rain."
I would rather not get a Heavy Rain style game. TTG already tried a QTE filled game with JP The Game and that didn't exactly work out well. If you mean a Heavy Rain type story well then it could work but again i think some people want a new comedy game rather then getting a noir serious game again. We have had JP,TWD,Fables is coming up which sounds like a serious game. Poker Night 2 is most likely coming then i seen a thread in the TWD fourms saying that season 2 is coming in fall 2013.It seems there is no more comedy afterwards. Again a Heavy Rain story could work but still the gameplay style would not work in my opinion.
I don't have the patience before they localize it here (yes, they for some reason need to localize it in the Netherlands, despite the Dutch voice acting sounding like dukey), so I always try to find the latest episodes.

That’s exactly what I mean. But if they want to do a comedic game, they should do Evil Dead.
Maybe if they don’t do Army of Darkness 2, they should do an Evil Dead game. Except, I’ll only get it if it has Bruce Campbell as Ash and the gameplay is like Sam & Max mixed with The Walking Dead. Ooh, and you get to use the Boomstick.
After seeing the series finale of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, I'll just say fuck it, I want a new Scooby-Doo game (season) with the same art style and personality as Mystery Incorporated, but with the wackiness of the old series.
Also, still waiting for a The Librarian game series.
OK. I'll bite. Tell me WHY Telltale should make a Rupert game.
...and do it in rhyme.
(See, I know what Rupert the Bear is all about)
Forget rhyme, i will explain
You see.. the Rupert Bear universe is perfect for video games
Great characters, Amazing adventures and Comedy
If you ever seen the Nelvana produced 1991-1997 series, You can understand my point as to why video games based on the Rupert license should be
Telltale can be a perfect candidate for the Rupert license since it does involve adventure from the get-go (again, watch the 1991-1997 series to understand my point)
Since Adult Swim has let Brock from Venture Bros in Poker Night 2, i was thinking what about a Harvey Birdman adventure game. It would be cool to see how TTG would handle a Harvey Birdman game in my opinion.
Eric Shanower's Age of Bronze comics. I think his well-researched, archeologically accurate depiction of the Aegean bronze age world would make a pretty neat setting for a game.
Okay, it dawned on me that Telltale never actually had a series that completely took place in space. And yes, it would work, Space Quest took place in space, and Stark Trek had a point & click adventure game. But I assume Telltale is never going to do Space Quest, and Star Trek kind of is too expensive, so why not go with an alternative? I mean, let's not do Spaceballs, despite me wanting such thing. No, let's use that other parody.
Galaxy Quest.
And I don't mean the film about the actors who go into space and crap, no, I'm talking about the television series within that movie. Like, make it obvious it's based on the series that never actually was a series in real life.
More comic games! If Fables is good I think we could see loads of DC and Marve comic book games because there are a lot of characters who need video game and TTG can bring it to us.
I am about to describe the end of Grim fandango do not read on if you do not want this spoiled.
At the end of grim fandango Manny calaravera and meche close the blind as the train pulls off. I suggest at the start of Grim Fandango 2 if such a thing ever came to fruition that manny and meche are attacked by an assasin from the DoD just as the train pulls off and are sprouted. They then find themselves inside a deeper underworld where they bump into salvador, they team up and find out that there has only been one person who has ever escaped the deeper underworld and that person was the founder of the DoD and who designed and commisioned the building of the number 9 express, He did this because he knew where the dead would end up if they did not safely cross the land of the dead and thought that thoese that lead good lives should be rewarded for such without having to take the long perilouse journey. He was granted the ability to do this because thoese that escape the deeper underworld are granted a wish at the end of there journey. Manny is in trouble from the start. If you die in the land of the dead before paying off your debt your sins are manifested in the deeper underworld as an evil copy of yourself that would stop at nothing to stop you and put you into a even deeper deep undworld. Meche and salvador do not have a copy as they both had a golden ticket and had lead good lives. Even though manny is granted a golden ticket at the end of grim fandango one it isn't technically his. During manny confrontation with his evil clone you discover what manny had done in life and get a greater back story. Thats is what I have come up with so far. So get your art team together taletalle you cant leave the greatest adventure game of all time burried in the land of the dead.
Fans have been wondering what happens to the dead after they're sprouted for years. I always thought that the exploration of what happens to the dead when they are sprouted (or overcome by any of the other dangers on their four year journey) is ripe for a story, whether it be a sequel to Grim Fandango or just an exploration of the actual stories and beliefs on which Grim Fandango is based.
However, I wouldn't like to see Manny or Meche be a part of any such story. Their story is finished.
I think Telltale should make a Fletch Game with Chevy Chase doing the voice. i was watching the first film on TV today and just thought it would make an excellent Telltale game , his an investigative reporter so you would get lots of dialog options (plenty of funny ones too to keep with Chevy's humour), he wears crazy disguises which would work well into getting information and getting places (also hilarious situations ensue) sneaking about places.
I just thought it would be an excellent fit seeing as they had Back to the Future another 80's classic.:)
The question is simple : What sequel-game do you want to see from Telltale Games?
• Sam & Max - season 4
• Tales of Monkey Island - season 2
• Back to the Future - season 2
• Jurassic Park - season 2
• Hector - season 2
• Puzzle Agent 3
• Wallace & Gromit - season 2
• The Walking Dead - season 2
• Strong Bad - season 2
etc
What game should or shouldn't have a sequel?
What game should have a sequel first?
What licence should have a Telltale Games (ex : Venture Bros - the game)?
---
Personnally, I would enjoy another season of Back to the Future with better graphics.
Then, I'd love to see another Tales of Monkey Island.
And of course, as Sam says in Poker Night at the Inventory 2, Sam & Max didn't had a season for quite some time too.
What game should have a sequel: Strong Bad (Even though it'll never happen.)
shouldn't have a sequel: Wallace and Gromit (No shitty, cheap Wallace voice, plz)
What game should have a sequel first?: Sam and Max
What licences should Telltale Games own: Penny Arcade.
• Sam & Max - season 4
• Tales of Monkey Island - season 2
• Puzzle Agent 3
I think TOMI2 is now almost certain not to happen. I suspect Telltale might no longer be prepared to give the appropriate scope to Sam & Max. But I'd be disappointed if they couldn't find the time for another Puzzle Agent
As Ribs said, Peter Sallis is over 90 now. We've probably seen the end of him taking on the role of Wallace, unfortunately.
Luckily, Ben Whitehead's definitely improved his Wallace voice since Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures. He always had the inflections of the character right, but now he's got the knack of Wallace's pitch as well. In Musical Marvels, he was pretty much spot on.
A season of Sam and Max where they team up with a different character in each episode (working from properties Telltale already has, of course). Each story could be a stand-alone story, but maybe there'd be an overarching continuity to move from one episode to the next.
All the games they do are generally Point and Click...#
They can't really be multiplayer and Multiplayer in their Poker games would make them lose their charm

Yeah well in the UK new episodes come later than in the places so i have only seen 1 episode with them .

for my bottom line, watch this episode (in 3 parts)
part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB6t1IPN97w
part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i03_lmijkAc
part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hhSS8WK77Q
P.S. If they do, I want them based on the 1991-1997 series and NOT the travesty known as "Rupert Bear: Follow The Magic"
Galaxy Quest.

Ouch. You won't want to hear the more recent W&G mini-films they've made, using him, then....
He won't be around for too long so I guess we have to get used to other wallaces...
Luckily, Ben Whitehead's definitely improved his Wallace voice since Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures. He always had the inflections of the character right, but now he's got the knack of Wallace's pitch as well. In Musical Marvels, he was pretty much spot on.
I wanted to say, "They'd have to be subcontracted by Activision though", but then the joke would go over the heads of a many people.
INCLUDING NOTHING.
And there's no Multiplayer games.
This is just an idea that you should do.
They can't really be multiplayer and Multiplayer in their Poker games would make them lose their charm
