The Intermediaware keys have now been sent, and the bundle sale is now officially over.

Also, there are no Steam keys, but that's pretty much expected.

    NOOOOO!!!!! What have I done?!

I again paid for a new indie bundle :(

Thing is, I need to save at least €10 for the Blackwell Conspiracy, seeing as I will give away a copy of that game on its launch date.

The latest Indie Royale bundle, The New Year's Bundle, is now available for all.

It's got Nuclear Dawn, Max & the Magic Marker, Fractal and Super Crossfire, and if you pay more than the minimum price you also get "George and Jonathon's Beautiful Lifestyle funky chiptune album".
  • edited January 2012
Also, in about a day the Indie Gala bundle will come to its conclusion.
  • edited January 2012
The New Year's bundle is probably the first indie bundle I'm not at all inclined to purchase. I've bought every Humble Indie Bundle, every Indie Royale, the Indie Gala, the Indie Music Bundle....

But this just doesn't grab me at all. Maybe I'm getting too mainstream, guys.

Super Crossfire for the Indie Royale Bundle has a key for Desura, not for Steam. I don't know anything about Desura.

Desura. It's very similar to Steam, only it focuses more on Indie games and mods.

And Linux if I remember correctly.
  • edited January 2012
You do remember correctly, according to Wikipedia.
  • edited January 2012
In case you guys are wondering, both Indie Gala and Indie Royale are over. Time to wait for the next bundle.
  • edited January 2012
I've only been getting Humble Bundles. The titles in the other ones either don't interest me or don't let me pay how I want or something.

    New Bundle!

    AGS Bake Sale:

14 Adventure Game Studio games made specifically for the sale, with all proceeds going to the charity Child's Play. Pay what you want (minimum order of $1.50 USD). List of games on site. (I'm too lazy to type and format all 14!)

    I'm not!

    • 9 Months In

    • Zombie Attack

...and all it took was a simple copy-paste. Tut tut.

Oh god fucking damnit, I love adventure games! And thanks to the Blackwell series, I now know what marbles and marvels the AGS engine has.
  • edited January 2012
While I see what they're doing and think it's a nice idea, none of the games included really interest me enough to part with monies. There's an absolute ton of free games made with AGS available from the official site, and they can keep you entertained for months.

Again - it's a nice idea, and I'm sure they'll get more than a fair few sales from people willing to give to a good cause, but money's a little tight for me right now and I have more than enough games to live on.

Plus, I've no time to play them, what with my new-found second occupation that doesn't pay (actually, that's not true - I've earned exactly one cent from people watching my videos. Woo!)

I have a weakness for spending money. Especially in combination with bundles.
  • edited January 2012
Aha! Now I know your weakness! Prepare to meet your doom, Gary Jozxyqk!

(Oh hey, 100th post. Go me!)

This is an English-only site. Someone needs to work on their grammar.

Considering that the author has a fairly English sounding name, something tells me the bad translation from Korean was fully intentional.

The Serious Sam Indie Royale Lightning Round is up! This one only lasts 100 hours, much shorter than other Indie Royale bundles, so keep that in mind. It contains:

Serious Sam: First and Second Encounter(Steam)
Serious Sam: The Random Encounter(Steam, Desura)
    Serious Sam: Double D(Steam, Desura)
    Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack!(Desura)
Serious Sam: The Greek Encounter(A top-down "demake" of Serious Sam, exclusive to the bundle, direct DRM-free download and Desura)
  • edited January 2012
    Fffffffffffffffff-

The Greek Encounter is on Desura.
  • edited January 2012
But all my games are on Steam! Curses!

Also, all these games are on, like, a bunch of different distribution systems. Having this whole mess on both Steam and Desura is extremely confusing. Gah.

Humble Bundle Five popped up in the Steam registry today.

    SOON.
  • edited January 2012
Any hints on what's in it?
  • edited January 2012
None whatsoever. The usual hole through which we've been able to see the bundle's contents has been plugged.
  • edited January 2012
Oh well. I guess we'll just have to be patient. <snigger>

    Humble Bundle for Android
    Anomaly
    Osmos
    Edge
    - pay more than the average for:
    World of Goo

This Humble Bundle includes Android versions of the games, but also includes Windows, Linux and Mac versions, as well as Steam codes.

Unfortunately for AT&T users, the apps must be sideloaded. I'm currently in the process of rooting my phone so I can use them.
  • edited January 2012
Going to try these out. Hey, I was taunted and I have too much going on to NOT give into peer pressure. :P Plus, I have an Android phone...so groovy.

@IndieRoyale tweets: "Our Valentine's Bundle pre-order starts next week - including 2 IGF nominees and two world exclusive PC debuts:
"(Full info on formats, further info on genres next week. None of these titles have been in other bundles, as per usual! Thanks, all.)"

Looking through IGF Nominees from this year, Spelunky and Dear Esther seem like likely candidates to me, but I'm terrible at guessing these things.

I think Spelunky is a bad call. They seem to separate the IGF nominee and PC debut categories, and the original Spelunky on PC is free.

Figures, just three days after I root my phone for the Humble Indie Bundle, I get a text from AT&T telling me that I can now upgrade to Gingerbread and should do so.

The original Cave Story on PC is free as well, that didn't stop Cave Story + from being part of HIB#4. My assumption was that the bundle might reveal a Spelunky HD/+ PC version in addition to the XBLA version.

I somehow have problems with the payment via paypal. Paypal doesn't register a transaction. Tried it twice now, hope I will not end up with 2 bundles now.
  • edited February 2012
I'm considering getting it for Greed Corp (for collection purposes as much as anything). Can anyone recommend some of the other games in it?
  • edited February 2012
Yeah, the Gala's having quite a few problems. Ordered mine a few minutes ago, not even a Paypal receipt yet.
