Oh, for fuck's sake. The site for the Be Mine bundle is currently saying the following:
We are working to transition to our new server schema to support the overwhelming interest in this bundle. Please check back soon.
BULLSHIT. They had an entire day to sort this crap out and now when I come back at the time they told us to come back we're told that they're not ready? Sod this.
This weekend, prepare for the Humble Mojam Bundle. Mojang will be livestreaming making a small, simple game over a 60 hour period. Humble Bundle will be selling it and the money will go to charity and whatnot. It's kind of a neat idea I guess. "Game Jam"-style events usually produce interesting experimental projects, though there are usually more people involved making more stuff. I usually like game jams, so I guess I'm in, but I wonder if people are going to come in expecting something else, or if this will be as interesting as a larger game jam event. I'm not entirely sure that a lot of people going in will know what a game jam is or what to expect out of them.

The Be Mine should be up within the next 24-48 hours, apparently.
If I didn't really want Sideways: New York, I would have completely given up on this one. The level of incompetence they've shown in handling this is staggering. It's like they learned absolutely nothing from other bundles having exactly the same problem. Indie Bundles are always going to be popular, especially when you have so much great stuff. I just can't believe how poorly this one's been handled.
To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed RTS gets a lot of votes, mostly because Mojang only has 60 hours. It would be very hard to make an engaging RTS in just 60 hours.

You're forgetting the highest/lowest combo deal. As of right now, it would be an RTS mixed with shoot 'em up elements. I kind of hope Shoot 'Em Up gets more votes so we can get an RTS beat 'em up instead, which sounds FAR more interesting.
60 hours isn't enough to create much of ANYTHING super engaging. The point of a game jam is to make something interesting in a constrained way so you can think about design differently, not really to produce "good" games.

As of writing it's an RTS beat-em-up with a Ancient Egyptian Steampunk theme. That... actually sounds pretty cool.
Well, I like RTS. It's actually the genre that I've been a fan of for the longest and regardless of how much fun I have playing RPGs and adventure games and shooters...in the end it's the RTS games that I go back to and play over and over again. So I'd be interested in an RTS blend of anything.

Neat! I really like the RTS Beat 'Em Up mix best honestly, and that was really close to happening when I checked. I'm hoping the mix is an interesting one whatever it ends up being, since there are a ton of mixes that it could end up as and not all of them are particularly interesting concepts.
Do they even know the definition of the word 'bundle'?
I donated and my download page has two slots for "Unnamed Game", one from Oxeye Game Studio and another from Wolfire Games. Looks like this is going to turn into an actual bundle.
"Wolfire is going to be working around the same genre and theme as Mojang — a real-time strategy shoot ‘em up with a steampunk, ancient Egypt theme! And Oxeye announced that they’re taking on the second place categories from Mojang’s original poll, which were also favored on comment threads and message boards Internet-wide — they’re making a dungeon crawler beat ‘em up set in a post-apocalyptic World War II."
Something: From my calculations, it is possible to put all the DRM-free games from all the Humble and Royale Bundles on three DVDs, including soundtracks.
And can you buy this bundle after the games are made?
The games are coming along in the sense that all game jam games do. You're not going to get something extremely amazing, just "interesting". The fact that they're taking money for it is, frankly, pretty weird for a game jam, but whatever.
The games have some really cool art in them, and they have great concepts. The art guys have some really solid sprite work put into these and that's definitely something.

Also I don't believe you can.
Ok... anything interesting with the games currently? My internet is crapping itself trying to livestream. I probably will give this bundle a try if the games do look interesting enough, if I could actually see how they are turning out.

Mmmmmmm, jam.
this bundle has DNF sindrom
Can't wait to spend money on the Mojam Bundle. I bet it will be bundled with something.
EDIT: Updated the description for the Be Mine Bundle.

EDIT: You know what, I might just make an Eldritch Abomination themed dating sim myself.
I would love to see a dating sim beat em up.
...that's pretty much a week after they originally said it would be up.
...words fail me.
I would have called it the Darth Marsden-Inator.
the game is an RTS shoot-'en-up with an egyption steampunk theme

EDIT: Details from the Humble Mumble.
Oxeye Games Studio and Wolfire join the Mojam!

Edit: funds Charity Water. At least one of them is worth my money. *phew*
How can they make the rest of the site look so flashy (I mean, just look at the Groupees front page) and make just this one page look like poop?
How are the games coming along?

Oh great, their servers are overwhelmed. AGAIN.
wait, i am able to use it
My brain imagined a Be Mine Bundle song sung to the tune of "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow"
The Be Mine Bundle's a failure,
The Be Mine Bundle's a failure,
The Be Mine Bundle's a failuuuure...
The servers are overwhelmed.
