For once, I think this is an indie bundle I'm going to pass on.

Wow, this is a really weak offering compared to what I thought could hit with the hints.

Roboblitz and Greed Corp are good games, but that's it, and Roboblitz's main selling point early on was that it was an XBLA game that fit 3D graphics into the old XBLA size limit. It's a cute physics puzzler but it's not super special. Greed Corp is a bit better, it's fun and there are some really novel mechanics to it, but I'm not sure these two games can carry this bundle.

By the way, anyone interested in Fortix 2 because it is "reverse tower defense", that idea is being done a LOT better by a game called Infested Planet which should get more attention. It's not getting much attention because it's a $15 beta, but it really is a brilliant game.

    Indeed.

Since I was stupid enough to buy it twice they added my amount. I have an extra Indiegala 1 now. Anyone interested in these keys?

I'm considering getting it for Greed Corp (for collection purposes as much as anything). Can anyone recommend some of the other games in it?

I was gifted Bunch of Heroes during the winter Steam sale, and I've played a fair bit of it. It's one of those games that's more fun than it is good. It's got flaws and not a lot of content, but it's wacky premise makes for some nice shallow action. It's better multi-player, though YMMV.

I got set back $16 (gifted the complete bundle to my bro).

On the plus side, I now only need nine games until I have 300 games in my Steam list.

Over 500. I have more disposable income than you, woo.

...but not so much that I'll be buying this bundle. Not a whole lot in this one, TBH.

Think I'll sit this one out too.

The Indie Gala 2 so far was indeed full with problems... Purchasing took forever, many things were unclear, they were putting weird information on Twitter and there were sentences on their site that were clearly wrong... Still, some of the games in it are supposed to be ok, so I picked it up anyway :)

On a related note: in about a week the 'Be Mine Indie Bundle' will launch on Groupees.com.

According to this thread on the Steam forums it will contain Wasteland Angel, Sideways New York, Xotic, BEEP and The Ball for a $1 dollar minimum (I did not try to figure out which game is which myself). You'll get Steam keys to activate the games. Looks pretty nice :)

The valentines bundle at http://www.indieroyale.com/ is up for pre-order.
According to what they say on the main page it'll include:
    "a fantastical first-person action-adventure game" - For PC & comes with a steam code
"an IGF-nominated puzzle adventure title" - PC & Mac and comes with a Steam and Desura code
"a 'scorching' single and multiplayer arcade-strategy game" - PC & Max and comes with a steam code
and "a world premiere on PC for a pair of retro RPG-defense games" - PC and only comes with a Desura code (no steam code)

If you pay more than the minimum you'll also get the One Life Left's eclectic 'Music To Play Games By Too' compilation

The minimum is currently $3.99 since it's up for pre-order, but that will go up once it's fully released, so get it while it's cheap.

Yeah, but you're an Artificial Intelligence, so that doesn't count. Also worth noting I didn't give an exact number (the actual figure is 536, so nya nya).
  • edited February 2012
You both have so many games because...?
  • edited February 2012
I dunno about the evil AI, but I can't resist a good sale. And Steam does have oh so many of them.

Depression. Clinical depression actually. I quit buying games when I found out I had a depression.

Sideway: New York and the Ball? For $1? That's amazing.

A minimum of a dollar. I most certainly hope you intend to pay more than that.

Hopefully, but all these other deals and releases this month are slowly draining my cash.

The day I start making sure I get my facts right is the day I stop being a kidult. And as long as there is breath in my body, as long as I have strength in my soul and as long as I have faith in the force, that will never, ever happen.

    So nya! :p

They really know how to suck me dry.

Can someone gift me a copy of the music? I just blew all my cash on importing Last Window from the UK.

Toki Tori has been added to the Humble Indie Bundle for Android.

In other news, IndieGala will have bonus content next week, as well as galapoints. What they will do exactly is uncertain, but they promise they will unlock bonuses and discounts and crap. The more you spend, the more galapoints you get.

    Indie Royale Valentine's Bundle
    - Zeno Clash
    - Hoard (w/ 2 DLC packs)
    - Lume
    - Soulcaster 1 & 2 (exclusive)

I was totally wrong (which is not surprising). However, I am still excited about Lume. I already own Zeno Clash, and I really loved that game. I recommend this bundle.
  • edited February 2012
Huh. Nothing that interests me. Phew. Too many things to contribute to this week :(

If I may ask, does anyone have a spare Aquaria Steam key? I seem to have skipped the two Humble Bundles that included it.

There were actually 3. HIB 1+2 and the Introversion bundle. I have all 3 of them but all the keys are already gone. Sorry. I just like to gift this game.

    You mean this Bundle?

    For the record, you get:

    Beep (Steam + PC/Mac Download)
    Sideways: New York (Steam only)
The Ball (Steam + PC Download)
    Wasteland Angel (Steam only)
    Xotic (Steam + PC Download)

...plus music from celldweller, Damage Vault, Fantomenk & S.F.G., as well as extra stuff once Group Goals are achieved.

The Bundle goes live tomorrow. In about 18½ hours, to be exact.
If you happen to live in the UK, 9AM PST is equivalent to 5PM GMT.

I finally succumbed and got the Android Humble Indie Bundle, even though I already have Osmos and World of Goo on the PC from previous bundles.

I really like EDGE and Toki Tori - although EDGE is much easier to play on the PC than on the phone (I can't see where I'm going due to my finger being in the way! - quite often a big problem with touchscreen games that require /preciseness/ of timing and positioning - bloody hard to do with a finger that's 1cm across on a small screen)

    Done with bundles!
  • edited February 2012
Was gonna get the be Mine bundle, but the site's down! Guess it was more popular than they thought it'd be.

EDIT: Conformed. Their servers were so overloaded they've had to take them down and will relaunch them tomorrow and 9AM PST, whatever that means.

That's... really, really lame. How could they not know how busy they'd be? They should have been better prepared!
  • edited February 2012
That indeed is stupid. If history taught us anything, it's that the words "Indie" and "Bundle" will attract at least over a thousand visitors. You should at all times prepare for such an occasion.

make that 4000 at once. Until the word spreads and it might be double.

Game Music Bundle 2 has added extra albums to it.
Also you can get the 1st one on top for an extra $5 now.
(If you already paid for it. Load your key, then increase your order. It will have a seperate one for the 1st one. Just put 0 on the top one and 5 in the bottom one, then you can have the 1st for $5)

(I've extended my one to $20 overall now. Man, they need to stop adding stuff or I'll have no dough at all! XD)

EDIT: I'm going to be honest here and say that with the addition of the first bundle there are 3 great albums worth having from this bundle alone!
(Super Meat Boy, PPPPPP, and Shatter. But you also have Mighty Switch Force, Machinarium, Minecraft and Mighty Milk Way/Mighty Flip Champs osts as well!)

EDIT 2: There is also a Mashup album of the various indie games in this bundle.
(Which is such an awesome idea! :D)

    EDIT 3:
    OH. MY. GOD!!!

Some of this new stuff that has been added is pretty damn amazing! :D
