Since I've got a few days off work, I've been able to bang my next video out surprisingly fast.
Here's the preview of my review of Universal Squadrons, which contains nothing Universal and no Squadrons either, so I'm calling false advertising on this one!
And I'm happy that you picked another thing I never heard of. It's always great to learn something new.
And the glass-noisees is in it again. I love it.
Really? Huh. I'll bear that in mind for future reviews.
Personally, I thought people'd be more irritated I hadn't actually talked about the show at all. I mean I know it's supposed to be a preview and all, but even so... Colour me surprised.

it's a teaser for the whole review. If it's already 4 minutes of the 15 there are the first part get's a little boring.
the full versions are on Youtube. Well sometimes small things get cut out but there is always a full Youtube version of the reviews.
...not always. The first post of this here thread has a list of what's on what (I update it with every review so that there's a nice list of them somewhere on the interwebs).
As you'll see, since my Daikatana review I have been putting versions of each review onto YouTube (trimmed when needed to make sure they're under 15 minutes, so sadly you'll usually miss the end stinger), so you can watch the ones that don't suck as much at your leisure.
I genuinely think I've been getting better - compare the two-part review of the third Librarian film to my look at Universal Squadrons and you'll see a world of difference. Would love to hear your feedback, Davies!
...not always. The first post of this here thread has a list of what's on what (I update it with every review so that there's a nice list of them somewhere). As of my Daikatana review I have been putting versions on YouTube though, so you get to watch the ones that don't suck as much.
EDIT: If anyone's bothering to actually read this thread, then progress on the Avengers review was slow yesterday, but better today, despite a massive headache and general lethargy. Making me work on a Sunday, grr.
With a bit of luck (and some ibuprofen) I should hopefully get this done tomorrow, or failing that, Wednesday, which is longer than I'd like but I'll take what I can get at this point.
I think it was five. And I didn't even get it right - I should have used both hands! Gah!
EDIT: OK, so it's been brought to my attention that YouTube is f**king up my videos. More specifically, the images.
- First is around 17 seconds in, when the images of the heroes doesn't match up to me naming them.
- Next is at the 2:50 mark, when I try to use arrows to point out each person in a group shot. Not only is the arrow hideously brief, but the bit of text immediately afterwards is on-screen for a fraction of a second.
I haven't bothered to watch any further, but I guess there'll be more issues.
This is entirely on YouTube, not me. Watching the original video again, they run flawlessly, so clearly these problems are created by the uploading process, which is incredibly annoying. Grr.
I'm uploading the video again as we speak, so we'll have to see if the problem persists. If it does, I'll try recompiling the entire video in a different file format, which I'd really rather not do, but whatever.
EDIT2: Oh joy. YouTube doesn't like duplicate videos. So I've said 'sod it', deleted the original video and am now reuploading the version I compiled as an mp4 file. Hopefully that should fix the problem. Link.
EDIT3: Nope. F**k it. I can't be bothered anymore. I'll just add a few annotations and concede defeat.
OK, so I've now added a bunch of annotations to the YouTube video to try and make it somewhat less mangled. Can't do anything about the images being out of synch, but at least I acknowledge it.
If you can, watch the Blip version. It doesn't have ANY of these issues. Otherwise, you'll have to put up with YouTube crapping all over my beautiful, beautiful video. Sniff.

Once again, huge thanks to SHODANFreeman for his help with this one.
Whatever.
Also, I'm pretty sad I had to cut the post-credits stinger, but there you go. You see the sacrifices I make for you?
It's Shake n Bake, and I helped.
Next review's in progress. It's an anime film adapted from something that's not a manga. Curious? Good!
... The Animatrix?
Next clue - it's an anime adapted from a game.
Gungrave? That's a show, though. I am the stumpman.
Lord knows why this one took me so long to put together. For some reason I just could not get into it. Ah well, it's done now. Awesome.
Here's the YouTube version.

The German fan here being a Grammar Nazi. That doesn't sound right.
And thoughts on the preview? That's half the reason I post 'em here, y'know. Feedback please!

Glass noises? Kindly elaborate, please.
Also I tried to find a video of "Dirty Ol' Man" by Faithless but I couldn't. Strange.
You're definately getting better!
Here's the full video on Blip. YouTube version's on the way.
EDIT: ...and here it is.
Oh well, here's a preview of my next review, which I've been not-so-subtly referring to in a few other threads.
That's right - it's The Avengers!
Oh, I had SO much fun finding all those intros. Best evening on YouTube ever.

Yay! Looks like I have some catching up to do.

What's that? You've never heard of it?
...well I kinda walked into that one, didn't I.
EDIT: YouTube version. Took forever to upload, but it's there now.
Let me know what you think!

You scared me.
Is this youtube, my old eyes or is the picture quality really bad?
Edit: Oh it's in the description. Sorry. My eyes then. Cannot even read.
Replaced the video with one that doesn't have a terrible resolution. SWF is not the way to go with these!
