I finally caved and got Baldur's Gate and Torment via this bundle. Those two alone are $20 anyway, so I just got the whole pack.
I'll have to slap together a mod list for you, especially being sure to include one that resizes the font. On newer monitors the text is a tad small to read even for people with great acuity, so a font size adjustment is probably needed.

That's actually been the primary reason why I WOULDN'T buy these games before. I knew about the ailiasing issues.
Okay, then all is well. I actually never finished Baldur's Gate I. I was going steady, and then decided to take a break to see what Baldur's Gate II was like.
I got Baldur's Gate EE when it was on sale at Steam recently, and now I'm buying it again on GOG.com. Seems to answer my earlier questions about which version I should get.

Which NWN should I get?
At this price, both. Heck, it's a buck or so more than buying Neverwinter Nights 2 alone to get all 10.
Yes, but for the sake of not filling up my GOG library with random games, should I get Demon Stone, ToEE, or Dragonshard? (btw, I look at that and I see DragonsHard. )
I mean, I really don't need to buy games I won't play just because it saves me 50 cents.

I enjoyed Temple of Elemental Evil (though I haven't finished it yet), for my two cents.
My favorite part was that they allowed stat rolling after the little experiment with point buy in NWN. Also, they included more of the DnD rules than previous games did, which was kinda nice, even though certain usages were far more powerful than they would be in the tabletop game.
And my rogue ended up being the most badass tank fighter in the party. Don't know how that happened.
Yeah, I know, I missed yesterday. Sometimes I think I need to take a break from doing this. Oh well, two releases for you today, and they're both somewhat new. First off, get the complete edition of Children of the Nile for only $9.99. It's another DRM-free city builder, which I'm guessing are really in style in this post SimCity world. Also, it's time to call up PewDiePie and have him shriek over a 170 part let's play of GOG's other new release, Slender: The Arrival. Now you can own the semi-enhanced remake of a previously free game for the launch price of $7.49.
Indie Gem Promo this week is Primordia for $4.99. I REALLY should get to finishing that, but the last game I decided to go whole hog into finishing was... really depressing... so depressing that I actually considered playing The Walking Dead for a pick-me-up.
Guys, I think this might be one of the most expensive games on GOG now. GOG is offering pre-orders for the next Divinity game, Divinity: Dragon Commander. For a whopping $39.99 (with a launch price of $44.99, it seems), you get what appears to be a high-fantasy version of those RTS sections from Brutal Legend.
This week, GOG brings us Galactic Civilizations I: Ultimate Edition for the launch price of $7.99. Refresh my memory, is Stardock the one with the horrible, computer killing DRM scheme, or are they the ones that made Impulse and sold it to GameStop? Whatever, the other game coming from GOG is Nancy Drew: Curse of Blackmoor Manor for $9.99. As someone who is not a teenage girl in the 70s, this is NOT relevant to my interests.

Unlike der_ketzer.
I've actually considered some of the Nancy Drew games myself, since I've read good things about them somewhere. Looking at the game card I think it looks a bit like the 7th Guest.
The weekend deal is another Interplay deal. 50% off for pretty much everything they've got under the Interplay banner, including the stuff that's been added since the last sale. I once again feel compelled to mention that if you don't have the Fallout games yet, and want to get them, get them now. Interplay loses the rights to sell these games at the end of the year, and Zenimax is deathly afraid of selling games on any service other than Steam.
Here's This Week on GOG for a recap and a clue. Your clue is "unhuman resources".

I actually played this one and think it's one of the mediocre games in the series.
Too little direction on what you should do.
Steam says: 9 hours played for that episode but there were at least 3 restarts in that time.
Classic Gem Promo of the week is The Last Express at 60% off. So, if you've been hearing some of the comparisons of The Wolf Among Us to The Last Express, now you can check out the original game on the cheap.
Y'know, I always dread seeing you post in this thread, because more often than not it means I'm going to spend money I really shouldn't be spending. Case in point: The Last Express. I shouldn't, and yet I have. Damn you. :shakefist:

Uhh... sorry?
Anyway, remember when GOG had that survey asking about the possibility of adding more multiplayer focused games that may require a constant internet connection, or even the inclusion of third-party clients? Well, the results will be in soon, but they've got a follow-up to that survey, this time with an example of what they want to do. Check it out and give your opinion.

Though, Baldur's Gate with BGTuTu is still pretty good. But all the super awesome story happens in the second one. And also most of the modding.
That's actually been the primary reason why I WOULDN'T buy these games before. I knew about the ailiasing issues.
The pack includes BG2 as well.
And I never went back.
Hint: Make a bard. They're awesome.

Perfect. Can you post a DL link?
Just use this modding guide, it's what I'm doing right now.

Hate Story.
Ah. Say no more.

It's not too impressive, but it's okay.
There's another Interplay weekend. 50% off all Interplay titles.

Edit: And simulpost, awesome.
(I own all the Interplay stuff already too! >:X )
Bought Castles 1+2. I remember playing Castles 2 when I was a kid.

I know for a fact it wasn't that one. Because it is Back To The Future.
