Interesting info from a dude on telltales facebook:

“Here are some stats for those who want to know how this game is selling compared to episode one.. At 12pm on April 24 episode one on XBLA sold over 3000 downloads. Now on June 26 at 12pm episode two on XBLA has sold .... Only 129 downloads. People *like me* arent coming back and you have only yourselves to blame. You treated all like trash! Now what?”

Meh I think it has some to do with it being a Wednesday. Last time it was released on a Friday.....

Plus they are missing out so its their loss. Shit is GOOD

In my opinion people have decided to wait for Telltale release the whole season to buy. XBLA doesn't have season pass as PC or PSN and it's tired of waiting with no information about a "monthly" release becomes a "bimonthly" release. They simply have lost interest on the game plot.

Or maybe they don't know about the release because don't follow Telltale on Twitter or Facebook or this forums.

And how exactly does he know that? I bet it has something to do with that it was just announced yesterday that it was coming out and you couldn't even buy the episode from the "Download Content" section in TWD. I had to go to new DLC releases to buy it. Most people probably don't even know that it's out unless they fixed the in-game download.

according to the official statement by TTG psn/pc/mac will get it on friday, unless your EU psn, then you have no official date yet

I don’t know if the info is correct or if he is just trollin. And as it has been stated there can be many reasons for the different number of downloads.

Should you happen to think that it would need a miracle for PSN users to get episode 2 on a Friday, then expect one. Don't worry, this is not a bogus release date.

    Im sorry but what?.

Is this some kind of bad joke?.

So let me get this straight not only does Microsoft delay the game for EVERYONE!. but know your making sure that Xbox users get to play it first?.

This would be freaking hilarious, if it wasnt so borderline absurd treating ones customers like this.

sounds about right, us brits are always getting screwed. makes no sense at all, they know when its out everywhere else but not in the eu!!!!

And the PC version, which requires certification from nobody, and is actually distributed right here on the game developers website, is also delayed to Friday. Makes NO sense.

While I'm glad to have a definitive date, and will give a little credit to TTG for actually getting it released in June (if only by the skin of their teeth), they still generate ill will by favoring one platform over another. It's pretty disappointing, to be sure.

Actually the wording is now "Periodically in 2012" as far as episode releases go.

So there is no monthly or bi monthy anymore. Just Periodically.

The Mathematical Association of America has a website named A Number a Day. The numbers are mostly arbitrary, so I can not know what tomorrow's number is. The nine voters in alphabetical order and the number of tomorrow, June 27th, will determine the winner, with 1 = Adrianasun, 2 = DonBer, 3 = Ellenflowers and so on, continuing with 10 = Adriansun again to infinity.

Today's number is 231, that's number 6 and Maximuswood as the custom commission winner!

    Had a scary thought...

Just kidding, in the 2nd episode, she tries to screw a pear into a light socket. You have to find a light bulb, then teach her how to screw it in. Dang, I shoulda saved Doug.

Whoops, should I have posted a spoiler alert?

How do you know it was just Microsoft that delayed the game due to the certification process or whatever it was? Maybe it was Sony as well? Get over it, it's only 2 days. Episode 2 is great and it will be worth 2 days wait. We had to wait for Episode 1 and I am sure not half as many people complained. Let's just hope Episode 3 is released simultaneously on all systems.

Actually in the official web faq http://www.telltalegames.com/walkingdead/faq/ say approximately monthly:

Why is this game episodic? What does that mean?
Telltale has a strong history of releasing episodic games but more importantly, we wanted this game to offer an experience analogous to the comic books and TV show, which are also episodic in nature. We have plans for 5 episodes, releasing approximately once per month.

In the forums FAQ it's the same (http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28483):

Which one it's correct? For sure saying "periodically" it's right but something more concrete like "monthly"?

The fact is you lose the story in two months time plain and simple. I had a hard enough time staying up to speed month to month with comics and have to go back and read it again.

I was drawn in by the monthly aspect of the game. If they had said every two months, I would have waited to get a more fluid experience. I think a lot of people would have,

What do we do when we get to episode 5 go back and play the whole game over again?

It takes away from the experience. Only my opinion;)

Someone playing it on Xbox: If you just wanna watch it click the link below. If you don't don't wanna see it and play the game friday, don't click the link below.

while it's only two days for us stateside (US) PC users and that sucks enough! I can't imagine another week, especially knowing everyone else has played through the game multiple times:mad:

This does not even affect me and it pisses me off:mad::mad:

    WTF

I'm agree with you. Two months it's too much. I've prepurchased because I think that a monthly release frequence it's ok. But not 2 months each episode... :(

No explanation from Telltale if this is going to be the new release frequency or it has been only a delay. We don't know anything.

Please, Telltale, fire the PR guys you got now and hire new ones.

I don't think we will get much if any communication in the near or distant future:(
