...Xbox can update any damn day of the week besides Sunday don't blame telltale go blame steam for not releasing games any day of the week and PSN for actually having to update.

Sony has already said they have been ready and are waiting on telltale, people can blame telltale as it seems they cut a deal with microsoft to release it early on only one system.

I was just going by the info posted above and on gamesfaq and telltale facebook page a few postes have said the exact same thing, so I assume the info is out their unless it's just one guy with various different accounts lol.

The last part about microsoft cutting a deal was just my theory... my other theory that telltale based Larry and Duck on their own personality traits and once they learnt how much the fans disliked Dumb Duck and Douchey Larry they decided on hurt feelings to hold the game back to teach us all a lesson.
    :-D

But they didn’t get into this game making business to make fans or be liked… so all is going to plan for them.

So, episode 2 will be out this week and even though there are new complaints stacked on top of existing ones, there is a risk that after playing episode 2, less people will be complaining. I'm not going to get episode 2 due to the fact that I'm not going to support a company that refuses to communicate properly with its customers. Also, I'm having more fun here on the forums reading through all the complaints (some of which are seriously amusing) than the first episode has given me. So I'm getting a lot for my $5, but I want more so it's time to throw some fuel onto the fire while it's still burning. So here's my attempt to obvious-trolling:

Technically episode 3 should be out this week too, so they're still at least a month behind targeted schedule; we should get angry and upset all over again (really). Please feed this trolling-attempt by using rude words and statements that lack logic. Another good way to provoke and trigger responses is to attack users of a different platform other than the one you're using. Don't be afraid to put as many typos into one sentence as you can so the spelling Gestapo (yours truly) has a fair shot at the debate as well. To add confusion it might be wise to contradict yourself, preferably in the same post, and to include irrelevant information. Assuming what all might have gone wrong is a great way to launch alternative theories that are based on thin air. And remember; Write, submit,.. and think later. Thank you in advance.

Downloading Episode 2 now on XBLA. :) Thanks Telltale. :D

I guessed the 27th in the poll, and I admit I was really anxious for the game to come out today. I'm glad it did. :)

Considering they said "ASAP" and not "next week" or "in the next couple of weeks" i'm realistically expecting a 2 week delay and maybe more if something deathly wrong has happened. Trine 2 took 3 months to make the jump to the EU after NA after all and im pretty sure they also used the term "ASAP" after missing the EU drop.

Cant trust a company that says ASAP after ignoring its fans for 2 months with no apology for the delay (seriously look at the blog post, we didnt even get an apology).

Just downloaded it. Playing it now.

Hold on xbox/Microsoft caused this delay but the rest of us have to wait even longer...wtf, obviously TTg have been given a backhand from Billy gates, that sly devil, anyways I (and other cheeky xboxers) got dawnguard early so who am I to bitch lolololololol

Suppose that's why Microsoft is great, pay 10p a day and you don't get mass account rapes/early content/ps3 exclusives apart from god of war (they should do it) all this for a big plastic box?! Whooaaaaaaaaaa,

Sure that's fine...then communicate. How hard is that??

Jesus H. Christ, people, calm the fuck DOWN. The episode's finally coming out this week, so freaking CHILL already. It's just a game. I seriously doubt Telltale's to blame for this episode coming out so late. I'm sure they really wanted this game to come out monthly, and I'm sure they'll make it so with Episode 3 next month (hopefully) onwards. Besides, they said at E3 that they were ready to get it out there, but they were just waiting for Sony and Microsoft to make room on their DLC release schedules for this.

Sony was probably more than likely ready to roll, but whatever Microsoft was doing to cause this delay was not cool on their part (if anyone can elaborate on HOW they were causing this delay, please let me know; it's been a while since I last posted here). Was it an inconvenience for all of us? Yes. But that doesn't mean we can all go about bitching and moaning about it while blaming those working on the game who are NOT TO BLAME FOR THIS. The guys at Telltale just work on the game. Securing a desired release date on any other console other than PC or Mac is usually out of their control, and I'm sure they didn't want to piss off console gamers by putting out the PC and Mac versions a month before the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions in this case.

Bottom line, I recommend you take these facts into account before blaming Telltale for any more delays for this game onwards. It's not fair to them as developers, and it's certainly not fair to be indirectly bashing on a excellent game that all of you enjoy. That's all I'm saying.

HUH??? Steam can update/ download dlc anytime the developer wants and so can telltale, so your point is?...and there is no certification process with Steam, I don't know about XBLA for sure, but from what I have read they can update small dlc everyday but full games have a scheduled dates ie. Tues or Weds.

Cool story. You convinced me; TTG has nothing to do with the delay at all. All blame goes to Microsoft for having a certification program. It's Microsoft's fault that TTG submitted the episode way after the so called monthly release. Microsoft should be ashamed for making companies go through certification processes. The very least they could do is always put TTG on top of the list and if the game is being offered for certification after the intended release date, it's still Microsoft's fault! Hell, it's Microsoft's fault for letting TTG falsely advertise a game and for not actually helping them create the game if they're not able to live up to what they advertise. Bad, bad Microsoft! Let's ban Microsoft! Long live logic!

Woah there, man! I never said THAT specifically. I was just saying leave Telltale alone. I don't know who's to blame for this, if anyone IS to blame. But it certainly wasn't Telltale. That's all I'm saying.

I stand corrected. We'll all leave TTG alone because according to you, the delay has nothing to do with TTG. You don't know who is to blame, but you know for sure that TTG isn't the one to blame. Guess that mystery is solved then.

Have you even been reading what's going on on these forums? Read the posts from TTG team members? I'm guessing not. Look at the dates, and then try figuring out whether the delay might have something to do with TTG after all.

I'm not trying to do anything except be rational about all of this. We've got Episode 2 this week. That's all that matters to me. I'd rather just end this argument now before this gets ugly, ok? Thanks

I'm not the boss here. Stop assuming that I'm saying stuff that I'm not saying. It's making you sound like a complete a-hole. And, for the record, no, I have no idea what's been going on on these forums because this is my first time back here since Episode 1 of the game came out.

And If you have no idea what's been going on in here, then why don't you take the time to catch up before you post and make assumptions. People feel they are justified and definitely entitled to their opinion. Easy on insulting people too, your coming across a bit trollish.

Fair enough. Let's just end this argument here. I don't want to come across as a troll because I'm really not.

Well as long as that's what matters to YOU then screw everyone else and their opinions??? is that about the size of it?

    I'm done with you.

I quoted you, just to make sure there is no confusion. You claim TTG is not to blame for the delay while there are strong indications that TTG might actually have a lot to do with the delay. As a matter of fact; you're completely sure TTG is not to blame, do I have to quote you again? Or are you capable of scrolling?

And now you say you have no clue about what's going on really since you haven't seen the facts and posts. Yet you stick by saying TTG has nothing to do with the delay ("..it certainly wasn't Telltale",.. your words, remember?). And then elsewhere you say again you know nothing for sure. It's quite an art to contradict yourself. You've mastered it.

The one thing you did get right however is the proven fact that I am a complete a-hole. And that's putting it mildly.

I am also a poopiehead, according to my girlfriend.
